Do Altcoins really have a future?

In general i would say that altcoins definitely have a future. the question is which altcoins are here to stay and which are not. I'm pretty sure that Ethereum, Litecoin and Dash have good chances. And then coins like OMG because there's a company with a good business-model behind of it.

I think yes, some Altcoin can really have a future like Ethereum and Bitcoin because there lot of person who use this Altcoin. The future of altcoin is based on the users because it will not be successful if no one uses it.

I think that bitcoin for large investors, the price and time of its existence provided its status of stability. But I see the future of Eth , Stratis 

I think you're wrong. You do not have to be a major investor for its purchase. Bitcoin is expensive, but you can buy it for$ 100 and even a smaller amount. Altcoins differ from bitcoin because they are more risky and they can get more profit.

Do not doubt about altcoins like Ethereum and litecoin. They have bright future and Ethereum may be even bigger than Bitcoin. Don't underestimate ethereum as it has full growth potential.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

I think bitcoin more of like gold and other crypto as national currencies, bitcoin is a store of value and is for investment proposes but other crypto are more likely to be used in day to day life.

For now a lot of new altcoins that have potential in the future.
Especially is ethereum, which is undoubtedly the future.
Because ethereum has been widely supported by the institutions and became the basis of almost all new altcoins.

Of course altcoins are great for the future, more precisely most altcoins are very useful for the future. Because altcoins serve as a means of getting funding in an inovative project for the future. I am amazed at some of the inofations presented through altcoins that I think are very useful for the world in the future

It already had a good future, and presently its coping up with the number one spot which is the Bitcoin. And on top of that many ICOs and projects have forked to this coin and most of it are successful, it helped the price of Ethereum pump for short period of time, like Bitcoin I guess. But since all coins are volatile, then it will be applied to others as well.

In my view, altcoins most definitely does have a future. I think the more pressing question is 'which altcoins have a future or which ones have the most potential' in comparison to the ones which will undoubtedly fall by the way side.  In my opinion, the ones i am convinced by are altcoins like DeepOnion, Ethereum and Neo.  In no particular order by the way lol .  The community and support behind these coins is massive and have huge potential to succeed.

i think ethereum has a good future, because many ICO projects use ethereum as its transaction. and I think if the investment in ethereum will be easy to earn profit, but only as short term.

Regularly different altcoins were coming into existence functioning on different platforms. Altcoins will have a good future based on the usage from the common people. So it's good to invest when the value is low, if something gets pumped similar to ethereum what the user gains will be big.

Indeed not all altcoins have a future but still there are some altcoins that deserves to be known and to have a future. Like ethereum, for me they are the most successful altcoins so far, look at their value, they can never reach that price and to maintain that value if they are not that successful. Yes they are not close enough in bitcoins but, still they are making their own name. Especially ethereum, me personally I have a lot of ethereum that I invest months ago, until know I'm holding it and hoping to get a lot of profit in the next months.

Oh come on alts are more usable than bitcoin because they are easy to implement on the blockchain and have them used the way we want. All the crypto cards are coming out of altcoin expenditures only and that's cheaper than bitcoin. There will more usage of alts in the future than bitcoin. So yes alts have great future ahead.

If not all, then some of the altcoin have a good future, not as much as bitcoin has but still we can take some examples of altcoins that have shown potential of surviving in the past. Ethereum is the number one altcoin so far and then monerso, waves, litecoin, neo, ethereum classic, omise go, ripple, dogecoin are some that will give profits to their holders. However, bitcoin cash is the only trash in altcoins.

Most of altcoins won't have a future because they are intended to fill someone else pockets. They are a target for pump and dumps but there are some real use cases out there. Some of them do provide value to the cryptocurrencies tech. Think of altcoins like lab rats. They test new ways to bring innovation to the blockchain. But in the end they all serve the purpose to make more bitcoin.

It depends on ICO. If the ICO is relevant then it will have a potential to succeed and when it does it undergoes development until the digital market could benefit to it. Example is waves, it become a success this year and become a hit like ethereum in 2015, so it really depends on the ICO.

its only a matter of time before we see altcoins has got bright future and once the time is come, then the price will increase too like what we see with bitcoin. but i think only the strong altcoin will have bright future and its support by the dev, the teams and the community so the altcoin will be one of the top altcoins.
