do we need @ocminer from suprnova to update the currency from zdash to hush?

It's all updated already - you can use both names Smiley https://hush.suprnova.cc

Thanks mate Smiley

Update : @ocminer , Not sure from your side. But I'm seeing zdash currency.
http://imgur.com/a/ktUzw

there are old names mentioned (zdash) but you are mining hush Wink But sure, for newbies it would be great if ocminer can change zdash to hush everywhere in the console, so it wont disturb users. Also on frontpage suprnova.cc where we still have zdash pool.
bye

RX 580 gigabyte gaming 8 GB, 2 cards - 291 H/s and 294 H/s ... with claymore.  not overclocked. It's the card or ... needs oc to reach 311 H/s ? ( with gigabyte hd 7970 oc, a 5 years old card I get 280 H/s )

Those are different architectures, so you can't compare the hashrate and age in an apples to apples comparison. The HD 7900 series (and it's revised/upgraded generation after it) do quite well on Equihash, but they also consume allot of power by todays standards, so you need to keep electricity costs in mind when comparing to more current GPUs.  As to the hashrate, 290 or so sounds just about right at stock settings for A RX 580. If you OC the core clocks a little you should get up over 300 sols.

Yes HUSH is great coin. Its undervalued for now, but it will take off.

Most im glad that we change name from ZDASH to HUSH... as nobody want another z - dash coin.
Its completely renamed and that i like.

With my rx570 4gb i get around 300H/S little overclocked. I wish i have more so i can mine more of this coin.
I remember when was just 20 miners and with 1 gpu, you make a lot of coins, but now you need at least
5 of them if you want to make something with it.

We just need this coin to shine and to grow and we will be fine  Cool

yeah i even got 200 H/s with an Tahite LE i had lying around, but to the cost of a lot more electricity (200watt which is 1 sol per watt). so from an affciency point of view you are far better off in Hashes per Watt and therefore in income per card.

Yes we need to keep them. But don't worry I was mining DASH in beginning needed 4 years to get to good price. with very big drop. so if we become a good community I am sure in 4 years HUSH can be same as DASH today Smiley

MINE, SAVE THEM, AND SPREAD HUSH every WHERE Cheesy

Hi, I would like to know where I can find more info about the messaging feature?
It will be an app like Line, kik, whatsapp etc, with encrypted messages, friends list, or it's something else?

one of the nice surprises about HUSH & equihash in general is the suitability of older GPU's for mining.  I cleaned up some cards that had been idle and now have a nice little equihash rig grinding away on HUSH.  I've got 2x Sapphire r9 280x trix and one Sapphire r9 270x trix and one xfx r9 270x.

Sapphire r9 280x       285-295 sols
Sapphire r9 270x       200 sols
xfx r9 270x               185 sols

altogether about 950 sols nice and steady, burning about 825 - 850 watts at the wall

even with my expensive electricity (about $.18) and the relative power hunger of the older cards I'm turning a small profit since the cards are paid for and would otherwise have been idle

Until wallet encryption is built in, as a workaround, you can encrypt your wallet with another tool. That's what I'm doing. Of course you need to decrypt the wallet again before you can send HUSH from it.

This project is moving forward... Also mining is hard.

Mac wallet shouldt attract more people in to HUSH.

Well price is going down, but all other also go down due BTC fork 1.8.2017, but
after this all settle we will see better days and all will change.

Dev just do good work and keep up. I support it without question.

Have all nice weekend.

You export your private keys and wallet, and encrypt them with your password and than store it on a USB, cloud...When you want to use your wallet you should decrypt your keys or wallet with your previous password and import them in Swing wallet.

You should use some app to encrypt file...search on google.

I am lazy and i didnt encrypt my hush and zen wallets/keys, but iv tested export/import walets/keys and its working without any problems.

EDIT: heres a google link for encryption programs : http://lifehacker.com/five-best-file-encryption-tools-5677725

EDIT 2: And dont encrypt all your funds...try with small amount and decrpyt and use it in your wallet....

Veracrypt container is probably the most straight-forward way at this time until encryption is actually embedded back into the wallet. Simply move you wallet.dat in and out of it as you need access to your funds.

Additionally, copy the container to a usb stick as an additional backup.
