The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

lol good question?  Huh

Got any tips for UTC Thirtybird? It's strange, seems like it changed N factor earlier than expected or the pools are acting out. Or I need more sleep. xD

If you are using the one from the original post, then no, it doesn't support stratum.  You want my version, ONLY at Github with the source code

I know this is a old post.. But my fx 8350 is only doing 0.55 khs,
Which according to this list http://[Suspicious link removed]/index.php/Mining_Hardware_Comparison is completely normal but is way off the 290 khs listed in this post. Can anyone tell me how to improve my speed? Thanks!

Get a faster processor. Make sure you're using the cpu miner with stratum support I keep mentioning.

Not the answer you wanted I'm sure, but when you understand how an incrementing N factor coin works, and the fact that YACoin is at N=14 now when it was probably at N=6 or somewhere in that neighborhood when looking at that old post.  The numbers do not compare at all.

+1, overclock, or get gpus...or just mine like that.
It isn't too shabby, but with current btc prices I'm not sure you can pay for power costs mining yac on cpu.

I have a gtx780 going 5.5 khs with t9x21, is that good enough? Also, the 0.55 khs is normal on the fx 8350?

I can get over 7kh/s with mine...
-s 10 --algo=scrypt-jane:YAC -i 0 -C 2 -b 8192 -L 6 -l t12x32 -m 1

See that btc address below my signature? Feel free to use it if it worked.
As for the cpu, hash is perfectly fine.

I already did

Not the answer you wanted I'm sure, but when you understand how an incrementing N factor coin works, and the fact that YACoin is at N=14 now when it was probably at N=6 or somewhere in that neighborhood when looking at that old post.  The numbers do not compare at all.

Looking at the main post, it appears those numbers are from when N = 4.  N is the number of iterations needed to perform a calculation, so everytime N goes up by 1, the number of iterations doubles.  So, 1 << (14-4)  = 1024 time longer to perform one calculation than it did in the post you're quoting from nearly a year ago.  Multiply your .55 by 1024, and that will let you roughly compare to what it was back then, but those numbers do not matter.  All that matters is what it takes now, and everyone is playing the same ballgame - your CPU performance will always be the same relative to someone elses CPU performance at any given time (based on the CPU)

By settings from the beginning of the post, the list has several processors with their income in kh / s, the list has a core 2 quad Q6600 with perspective 170-190 kh / s. It's been almost a month since I'm mining for that currency Yacoin with a Q9550 quad core processor 2 which is faster than Q6600, however the rendering it not in this kh / s but in hash / s. So I ask colleagues who have more experience, is that my setup is wrong or was that impede increased in recent days too, if the answer is the second option I definitely leaving this virtual currency. It is absurd performance of over 200kh / s drops below 1kh / s. Huh Embarrassed

Okay, well bye then.  There is no reason not to understand the increasing nfactor after one year and what it does to everyones hashrate.  That leaves an unwillingness to read as the only remaining option.

If this makes it difficult to continue to increase so soon will soon be unfeasible for anyone to mine that currency because paresse so it does not fit well with gpu's, cpu's just finds it easier to mine.

I see no difficulty in mining this coin, or any other NFactor coin.  I'm sorry, the point you were trying to make did not translate to english well after "because".

I ask you to help me please, my processor is a core 2 quad Q9550, I use it without overclock, default clock this cpu is 2.83 GHz, the maximum he can  is 1 kh/s, so this makes it difficult for certain current NFactor? . am using Windows 8 Prefessional 64-bit, my configuration is standard for bat cpu: minerd.exe -a scrypt-jane -o stratum+tcp://yac.m-s-t.org:3333 -u user.work -p password, the miner I'm using is: pooler-cpuminer-2.3.2-win64.

There's a much newer version of the miner that's optimized for YAC and supports stratum.  It's in my signature.  1 KH/sec is unlikely with most all desktop CPU's.  Check the following hardware comparison page http://yacoinwiki.tk/index.php/Mining_Hardware_Comparison
