yeah i bought my 5 factoring in a 10x diff rise posiiblity by nov 25

I'm betting on 10x of what it was as of 15Aug2017 before the end of October 2017, and probably more like 15-20x by end of November 2017 - and likely will KEEP climbing from there, especially with this NEW D3 batch that seems to have been big enough to take HOURS to sell out.

Keep in mind, it's NOT just the D3 - you also have IBeLink DM11G units shipping, Innosilicon A5, Pinidea PR-100 (if they actually manage to SELL any at their far-too-high price, but if they don't they COULD just mine with them), IBeLink DM22G.....

I have to wonder how many more batches of D3 chips Bitmain has "in the pipeline"....

In fairness, I can see a pretty good probability of all the D3 units sold to date achieving 100% ROI eventually - just not in a 2-3 MONTH timeframe unless you got in on the first batch, and likely 4-5 for the second.

yeah for professional miners this still a good investment heck 8 month ROI is fine for the pros sicne they are in it for the long haul.  I feel for al lthos fools that paid 3-5k for resold units from the previous batch.
PPl never learn , NEVER overpay for hardware anymore , youre better of waiting and buying at normal price, same happend with all those fools who bough rx cards for 500 600 , they might never ROI.

better to be on the sidelines than to rush in and get fked

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I think I finally know why Bitmain is releasing so many. They want to stomp on Dash price to make it look poor relative to Bitcoin. Doing so would bring more people to Bitcoin, thus boosting Bitmains own bitcoin stash.  Jihan must have thought this through.

Why would the number of sold miners affect Dash price?
More miners -> more coins being produced and sold -> lower Dash price.

More miners has ZERO effect on how many coins are produced.
More miners = more DIFFICULTY, not more coins.

Read my newer comment. It will make more sense near the end. The bad scenario would be like the first introduction of scrypt asics where the difficulty sky rocketed and the first people to get their asics would sell because they were afraid of more other miners competing. I personally am going to hold most coins I make because I have made a lot just trading. This is really to help me stop selling so quickly  Grin.

It has to be some sort of record that D3s are available after 18 hours still available and on sale... reminds me of when L3+ came out intially... they were available for 2 days.

Hi, I think that they want also cut off the market all the people that has bought the miner and resell the account or buy to resell their product making a lot of profit, and in the firsts batchs there was al lot people that has do that.

there is still 12949 units remaining units in last batch....  Huh

Hi, where this number come from?

Simply you can chcek the web side code on product page and search for "remain"
Now I can see this values:

<input type="hidden" id="productRemainCount" value="11746" />

they have more to sell:

<input type="hidden" id="productRemainCount" value="18257" />

Probably a lot of expired orders or unpaid orders. Good catch on the view source.

This could send the price of Dash up actually, Price is already at $240, would not be surprized if it reaches $400 plus by the end of the year. You have to remember the price could rise when doing your calculations guys, this will intern mean quicker ROI. I strongly believe this will happen...

While it's technically true that one will "ROI" in terms of $USD faster if the price increases, I respectfully disagree that one should take price fluctuations of the underlying cryptocurrency into account when forecasting ROI. Mining ultimately boils down to this question: Will one end up with more coins by mining than one could have purchased for the same amount of money? If the answer is no, then it would make a lot more sense to simply purchase the coins and hold them. It is my opinion that the D3 (in all released batches) will mine a greater number of Dash coins (after electricity expenses) than could have been bought for the same amount and therefore I have purchased the miner.

No you are wrong.  The reason why they are releasing so many is because I bitched and complained to BITMAIN that assclowns that purchase 100's of these for the purpose of reselling are the plague of the world.  Also because a lot of con shops opened up pretending to be BITMAIN and selling cards on their website, taking money and not sending cards ( like what happened to me ) will be eliminated.

I think its great!!  All you idiots who bought 100's with the idea of reselling them are going to get screwed, hahahaha.
You all deserve it!
I hope you all go bankrupt.

And...Bitmain STILL has D3's for sale.....

(their sinister plan worked...they managed to make D3's in stock and into the snail equivalent of S9's) (Bitmain: we do evil in Slo-Mo Eventually)

https://shop.bitmain.com/main.htm?lang=en

I want to buy (soooo  pretty) at $1,450 usd ..BUT and I mean a BIG BUT .....

With X11 difficulty rise....its hard to buy a rubber dingy for the kiddy pool.....when the elephant (x11 difficulty) is gonna 'cannon ball' into it.

Gonna be quite wierd, imho ..when that x11 difficulty slams into the ASIC X11 shoreline....let me tell ya

LOL that's so mean. But seriously, the way to crack down on that is to set limits on the amount and refund those that bought over. Why does the regular person who wants to test it out suffer for the big buyers faults? I think they should help the little guy and prevent the big guys from screwing everyone over. But this is the messed up society we live in. Everyone perishes right?

Yes, Dash mean more miners, less Dash. Dash has a dynamic block reward.

Hi,

I have 2 D3s from November 1-15 batch and PSUs. If anyone is interested, let me know. I need 3750€ a piece for D3 + APW3++. Shipping via UPS or DHL to European Union as soon as I receive the miner is included. I will receive the miner, pay import tax and send same day via tracked UPD or DHL, if someone buys it before then. Of course, escrow is possible and even encouraged.

PM me.

You do realize these units are currently in stock for November delivery... Meaning anybody can order directly from Bitmain right now...

yes sure, but my miners are from November 1-14 batch and therefore, more profitable than the ones available now (November 24-30 batch).

Also, I will handle import taxes into EU and save potential clients the hassle of ordering (which may soon be a hassle again, because stocks are always finite).

I was going to buy one but seeing so many being sold. I think by the time I get it 15GH/s will probably generate .5 DASH per month so ROI is more or less a year.
