What's your guys' experience with coins that go to proof of stake?  Do they always go up in value?  Right now could be an excellent time to buy SIGT.  From what I gather it will be going to proof of stake in about a week.

Is there a downside risk to proof of stake also?  Could it kill the coin?

I wish I had a glass ball and could tell you, but the truth is no one knows for a fact what will happen in a weeks time. All I can do is give you my personal opinion, and I think it will gradually go up over the long term. Under 1000 sat is definitely a good price.

about asic resisteng argoment of cryptoretard...
an algo asic resistant gave us the chance to mine some coin before the pos phase. so i really don't understant what do you talk.
with an algo pro asic this coin he would not have all the community support that he created.
so please sto spam every second.

ASIC's RESISTANCE is STILL ASIC's RESISTANCE

What difference does it make how it is ACHIEVED?

Skunkhash algo helps achieve it.  Short mining period helps achieve it.

The fact is, by design, ASIC's mining was made nearly impossible by the DEV's.

The only way I would label the DEV's in any negative light in this regard would be if they said SIGT was ASIC's resistant, then a week later SIGT is being mined by ASIC's miners.

From a practical standpoint, regardless of being as the result of code, hardware, road map.... it DOES NOT MATTER.

ASIC's mining was rendered impotent BY DESIGN.

Even if only through a short mining period... SO WHAT?

No SIGT was ever mined by ASICs miners nor will ever be.

I can't get what's going on. So much RED large letters in SIGT theme. But there is no useful info.
Signatum is only 2 month old coin with enough new hashing algo. I think it at least 6-8 month investment and I see NO scam indicator of SIGT.

As I already pointed out, it is a mere 100-day PoW, it didn't need a new hashing algo with 'ASIC resistance', that's only relevant for pure PoW coins.

So this coin has nothing of note going for it whatsoever and plenty of highly-questionably behaviour by its 'dev team' in how they are promoting it as 'innovative' to crypto newbies who don't know any better.

'Marketplace' and 'Webwallet' are simply white-label code packs you can buy cheaply and stick your own logo on. They haven't 'developed' anything. You are all being conned and this bullshit 'masternodes' talk for when it switches to PoS is just another way to get you to buy and hold this useless coin while they offload what they already mined and manipulated through the fake trading volume.

BTW, pointing out that the majority of altcoins are just as bad is no excuse for this clonecoin scam and, likewise, complaining that I'm not exposing them right now is not a rebuttal either.

No, what it means is you have a personal vendetta, this coin has an active community, and active dev team, the first of it's kind algo, nicehash support, etc etc.  It's much too far from a scam for you to be devoting this much time to "inform the newbies" when it's more unique and active than 90% of all coins on the market.  Scam coins don't get to 5 million marketcap, quit being such a sore loser.

Want to do some good? Go post on all the BS ICO's that are added every single day.  The coins that are just a walletbuilders litecoin clone #800 scam over and over with zero results, no community, no dev.  You are barking up the wrong tree in here.

Try using http://explorer.signatum.io/richlist

I have no idea who mined the first 1000 blocks, but lets assume for a moment that the developers managed to mine every single one of those 1000 blocks. That's 2 500 000 coins, which is roughly 1.8% of the 137 000 000 coins at the end of the mining. That in reality is nothing and the devs deserve more for their hard work, I for one hope they mined all 1000 blocks.

Guys, don't fed the troll. Let him die alone.

He has a personal issue with Signatum. He made a bad move and lost a lot of money with it, so he's doing this.

You can't hear a person who can't be objetive.

All this talk of mining, algos, asic-resistant, etc, etc.  Mining will be over in less than a week.  Can we finally move the topic to the POS phase and what's ahead for SIGT?

On that note, what will the 5% annual interest during POS be based on?  Some SIGT value on some exchange?  How will this be paid out? (i.e. - BTC, SIGT, other)

It actually looks like some ppl on yobit are  artificially trying to dump the prices by inputting smaller and smaller sales orders to dump the prices and get ppl scared to the sell at these cheap prices.

But Signatum is FUD resistant coin and future is bright.

P.S. I have all my rigs to mine Signatum and hope to mine block No. 100 000 :-)

P.P.S. cryptodevil, stop your  trash.
