Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web. In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available? It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
It is a good idea that bitcoin can be teach by those IT students in their college but i think it depends on the country itself. If a country supports bitcoin, i think it will be teach in schools even in highschool or college as long as they support the idea of bitcoin in their country. But if not, you can still learn bitcoin with those free online courses in the internet.

That's actually a great idea. As more countries accept bitcoin as a currency, it's not strange that there is a college class related to this. If there is one, Maybe US or China would be the first performing that.
it is a great idea. bitcoin is a very important in the world.I'm a student. i like bitcoin, because it is very nice.

Bitcoin is a method of payment and easy to understand. But the functioning of Block chain is highly praised over the globe and should be introduced in colleges as students should know about the modern technology around themselves. The working of blockchain has great role to be played in future. Hence its knowledge should be spread among young generations, further working of Bitcoin only is easy to understand. Hence, there is no compulsory for students to study Bitcoin in college.

Even with bitcoin being added to the curriculum, people will not doing unproductive things like watching porn and playing games. It has been a part of the modern world for people to procrastinate all the time and end up not doing anything worthwhile. It's alright though.
There are different courses in college and all of them allows you to make money. Take a photography class and you can take senior portraits and make money from them. Each and every class allows you to make money but how is bitcoin different? I don't think just because bitcoin was introduced to a student, he will drop his hobby of playing games and start trying to earn money. We have learned in the past that people know how to make money but don't really have the motivation to do so. Some of us just wants to be a couch potato and will continue to be like that even after wanting money, needing it, and knowing exactly what to do to make money.

It's growing in popularity in universities. I know that courses have been implemented at Stanford, Harvard and some other Ivy League institutions. MTI has it's own crypto project: http://dci.mit.edu

I think it is not a bad idea. However, I don't know the consequences of doing this if ever there is. Although, it would be nice to teach college kids a way of earning money other than normal labor to help them support their education financially.

Introducing bitcoin in college level seems good, but I doubt that college may not accept bitcoin as curriculum.

At present, many courses have been conducted in the College of Information Technology. And there is encouragement to work out there in sourcing. If the government arranges different courses about Bitcoin in the college, then there are many ideas about Bitcoin. Many people now watch video games and bad videos online, financially These courses will be protected from Bitcoin's course and economic progress and possible.

Probably is available but only at higher levels of education which I think is wrong. We should start integrating bitcoin material into high schools and even middle schools soon if it take off into what I think it will become. I actually filled out a survey on bitcointalk regarding bitcoin and I think that was a college class if I am not mistaken. So it is happening but it should be happening a lot more in my opinion.

I think if bitcoin can be teach in college, it would be good because student can learn about bitcoin and especially blockchain technology. It would be interesting for them as they are curious about new way to saving their money for their future...and if its success then more people will know bitcoin and they will use bitcoin like us.

It is absolutely right and very important for our young generation. They spend their valuable time passing idly and watching unsocial activities. But when they include their in bitcointalk.org activities they learn more about it and help for their financial support and so others activities.

It would be very nice to have a course on Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies in our colleges. It creates more opportunities and scopes for future of online currency. When young people are enthusiastic about better economy and financial independence, having a course about online currency can enhance their vision and creativity for better developments in those fields.

In my opinion, I think we don't need to have a bitcoin course or subject in college. We could just simply add it to our lesson plan in the Economics subject. That would be enough to know the basic in bitcoin and how to get starte There is always so many unpredicted things that are happening around digital currency and it would be really hard to cover if we were to implement it in a subject.
