You can actually short most of the coins, considering this bearish market.

Us Government Scientists: “Bitcoin Is a Fork and Bitcoin Cash Is the Original”

Answering demands from the private and public sectors, US government scientists have created a guide to the technology behind bitcoin and its applications for a variety of uses. Among various issues, the 59-page report explains that, “technically, Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain.”

https://news.bitcoin.com/us-government-scientists-technically-bitcoin-is-a-fork-and-bitcoin-cash-is-the-original-blockchain/

Hopefully after this report we will see big money flowing into BCH. Superior technology wins at the end of the day. And what I see is BTC slowly losing support and market on other hand more BCH acceptance.

Lol, while both bitcoins are slapping each other another cryptocurrencies take the lead. Many trading networks have already excluded them from the list.

What fee is default?

depends a bit on your wallet.

A cent will usually do. There is 8MB blockspace

Carpe diem  -  cut the down side  -  be anti-fragile - don't dillute Bitcoin!

Chris Pacia's article on scaling Bitcoin Cash on chain.
TL;DR - The most interesting part (imo) is block propagation time concerns.
The solution would be block compression to as much as 2% of original size (or even more).

Lightning Network Proven to Lose Your Money in Multiple Cases. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

https://themerkle.com/using-lightning-network-on-the-bitcoin-mainnet-is-asking-for-trouble/

Quote
multiple users have reported losing their money.
Several bugs have been identified when it comes to closing the payment channels again, which is a critical part of the Lightning Network.
Issues like these need to be sorted out as soon as possible, and they confirm that this technology isn’t production ready in the slightest.
Quote
Sadly, recovering the lost money will be virtually impossible.

╥Aztek

By the way, if you are dumb enough to trust segshit & LN , You were always going to Lose your Money.

* Hey Tek, are you going to reimburse everyone that lost money, when you claimed LN was working great? *

Use Bitcoin Cash (The Real Bitcoin) if you want your transactions to be fast and your money to be safe.

But one can also use btc for fast transactions and safe. Japan top real estate and auto industry just recently accepting btc as a form of payment.
