Ho hum. Silly attack is silly. First one need find a collision (where's the math - nothing on that in the 'paper'), then one must get a majority of the network to accept that this new tx chain need be substituted for the tx at that position in the chain that they have agreed to accept since months/years/decades. Is it possible? Sure - in the sense that collisions are possible. Minus some significant derating for having to overcome settled history. Is it computationally feasible? Not bloody likely. After that gate is passed, is it socially feasible? I say nay. |

These two forked coins are cancelling each other out and are having a race to the bottom - think about it, this debacle was a power struggle between two megalomaniacs and the biggest losers are the bagholders who should have sold before the fork, and the biggest winner is BTC which sat on the sidelines watching the shit show - its downhill all the way. |
