I read it if you withdraw the 55%, you accept the 45% as tokens (not you lose it).
yep same here. (debt obligations are abandoned TO the remaining 45% of funds in the form of tokens.) Not debt obligation tokens are abandoned.

I wonder what percentage of users will withdraw today and forfeit the 45 percent?

How many US users are going to stay and keep their 45%? I had 22 btc and don't want to lose those other 10. How many would go the length of having a friend/relative doing the verification process who lives outside the US if they totally ban all withdraws. I really hope they have a small withdraw option for non verified users I.e. Americans. I just won't stand to see 10 btc get flushed down the toilet

why is that important to you? How many US users are going to stay and keep their 45%? I had 22 btc and don't want to lose those other 10. I had verified account there, and will be going thru verification on new site very likely as well. If there will be demand, I can help with withdrawals for US customers afterwards, fee can be discussed later on.

I would kiss your feet if you could do that but how would one go about doing that and how could I trust you don't run away with my btc? I would be prepared to pay an excellent fee for a service like this given it is trustworthy

any kind of service have to gain trust by service itself Firstly I have to explore what will be going on on new website and then we'll see our options. I'm not running anywhere

What's the meaning of this? 3. On the day the site is launched, the balance will be recalculated at the market rate and will be credited to accounts with a higher ratio than 55/45. If i wait, i will get more than 55% of coin funds? how much more?

Thought they said that they'd credit deposits up until August? Made one on 25th July (day of bust) and it's not showing on my balance.
It looks like this might be happening now. I logged in yesterday just to check all my balances and they were correct, about an hour ago got a pop up that 2 LTC has been credited to my account. I was mining direct to the wallet at the time, so these would have been sent between the time the site went down and me swapping the mining pool address.

I'm waiting for an answer to this as well. Since it appears verification will be required to some extent, the question is will verification be required for ALL withdrawals or just for fiat? It's pretty ridiculous to have to verify just to withdraw coin, especially some random alt like NMC (what I was in). Taking a 45% loss today just to find out later I didn't have to is going to suck. It also begs the question of what actually is going to happen with US residents? Are those who identify themselves as in the US going to have their funds confiscated, and by whom? I almost wonder if the lack of clarity is deliberate just to spook people into unnecessarily handing over 45% of their coin.

I would be prepared to pay an excellent fee for a service like this given it is trustworthy Been also thinking about such service, and I guess there will be much more ppl like that. It will all depend on the conditions, it is possible you may be able to easily withdraw coins like before, only fiat withdrawal will be complicated. Like it was even before, and it makes sense - all the big institutions either turn away from that, or demand some personal documents for verification. Or you pay huge fees for bank transfers etc. For coin withdrawal, that's easy, it costs the exchange pretty much nothing. Unlike moving dollars from some garage company who knows where. So personally, I have always bought BTC in the end, got those from the exchange and found some local exchange or somebody willing to buy PayPal coins. Much easier and with much less losses than using some of those terrible services connected to BTC-E to transfer dollars.

Isn't btc-e going to release another FAQ regarding verification today so people can make a educated decision to withdraw today or not?

The mt4 portion of my funds conveniently disappeared after this last update from btc-e! I guess they don't want to give me that if I choose to take the 55% (I won't regardless).

Being in the US I opted for the refund. It seemed to be the safest thing to do. Hoping to see something within 72 hours.

Can you guys clarify what the terms are? What does it say when you log in and click the refund tab? I won't be at home for like 8 hours and I just get an error message when I click the refund link while not logged in. Could you copy/paste the terms? We have to wait 72 hours and we will get output based on the current market rates (at withdraw time)? Thanks in advance.
