At -i 24, the speed is also 30-31.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Fantastic work!!! I like all stats being shown in the miner like - temp,pl,rpm.... Also this is only skunk miner which speed shown in the miner is the same on pool side. Everything works well so far, all my cards(1060,1070,1080ti) are at -i 24 rock stable, drivers 384.94, win10 64.

Sometimes, the pool reports "no worker active", even if the miner is working as usual at max speed.
Then it recovers.
It was happening also with palgin mod ccminer in the past.

I really like the interface, and all those useful infos.
Keep up the good work chrys!

0.9.8 is even better than previous.  Rock solid for about 2 days now.

2 Systems, 11x1070, 1x1080 Win 10 x64

Clocks:
1080 @ 75% power, core +145, mem -502
1070's @ 90% power, core +185, mem -502

Could push higher on the clocks, but due to physical setup the temps are a little high on a few of the cards and I'd rather wait to play around with the setup a bit first.  As has been said by others, great miner and great support!

11 hours running,
I have not encountered any issue yet.
I also noticed that this miner is more efficient compared to other miner software out there.

  • tdp 85%
  • coreclock 130
  • memory -502
  • temp at 61c
  • fan at 68%

the prevvious post reminds me ...

PLEASE request in pm WITH the details of the gpu / gpus you are using and the windows operating system ...

if you send me a pm to just 'give me the miner' like some of you have - there will no longer be a response ...

admittedly - ther have only been a few like this - but we need to know ...

otherwise the same response will be given ...

---

hi ...

what cards do you have and what operating system? ...

#crysx

---

we are NOT trying to restrict the beta testing in any way shape or form ... what we ARE doing is determining whether your rigs are fit to be in the testing ...

many of you have amd gpus - wont work with CWIgm ...
many of you have 750ti nvidia - wont work with CWIgm ...
many of you have older nvidia 780ti etc - wont work with CWIgm ...

CWIgm is now only supporting nvidia based gpus with compute52 or compute61 level gpu ...

this means that higher end 9xx cards - and 10xx cards are usable - with some of the higher end processing cards ( like the titan x in a few cases ) which are of the compute level calibre ... we wish we could open the test up to everyone - but that would not be feasible with the limited resources for compatibility we have ...

like so with the os ... windows 7 / 10 ... most versions will do ( home / pro / ent ) ...

so please pm me with more than a request to join - but with the specs as well - as we can determine right away whether its worth joining the test ...

this is also the other reason why we tie the test miner to OUR pools ... because we have full control over the pool - and the adjustments that are required to be made to all three - miner / pool / stratum ... if we introduce other factors - such as other pools and stratum / diff systems into the equation - it literally throws a spanner in the works and derails our focus on producing the miner we want to produce - due to the external issue that can arise from these other factors ...

the most important part of all this also - PLEASE take the 2.5minutes it takes to read the README contained in the package ...

it contains VERY important information - such as changes to CWIgm - additions to CWIgm - parameter adjustments - and many other things that need to be known BEFORE you mine ...

ill put this up on the op as a core part of the test ...

tanx ...

#crysx

Sorry I sent the wrong message the first time (without the GPU and OS details). I resent a message with all the information. I hope you can reconsider my appeal. Thanks a lot.

api was purposely removed ...

we have been looking at a rebuild for the api - but we are also looking at other options ...

we have yet to decide ...

I'm pretty sure the answer is obvious but just want to check, can CWIgm be used with miningrigrental or will it be supported?

Thanks a lot.

thats no issue - we welcome testers ...

#crysx

is there anything else to do to get the miner? Cheesy

nup ...

just pm me with the details ...

im going through them right this minute ...

Great, finally got accepted. Cool

So, I have 6x GTX1060 6G with 384.94 driver running on Win10 64. 2x of them are Hynix memory and 4x are Micron's.
So far the hash rate that I got from this miner is far more than what I was getting from the other miners and it is more stable from what I can see. And I also liked the fact that I earn more SIGT on this pool than Suprnova.

If anyone interested to see the results of this miner on my rig and overclock settings, here they are: http://imgur.com/a/AdcNr

What I'd like to see in future development are:
- API for port binding so user can monitor this miner with monitoring service of their choices such as ethmonitoring.com
- Some kind of support to connect to 3rd party pool (maybe charge a service fee of 1% is using 3rd party pool?). I'd love to use this on MinigRigRental.com

why -502 and not -500? is there are a difference?

If I launch all 8 GPUs in one instance, the power usage curve jumps from 30% to 100% each 3 seconds, making miner not PSU-friendly.
I had same issue with other skunk miners, so my own recipe was to run 2 miner instances.

But when I launch 2 instances of miner to make separate process for 3x1080ti and 5x1070 GPUs,
1080tis are working great and very stable, but 1070s doing something weird: after a couple of minutes two last GPUs stop working at all.

Here is example of power usage with ccminer 2.2 or spmod miners:

Also running 2 instances does not change stratum difficulty, so my hashrate is lost between blocks if they found too quickly.
Since 3-4 SIGT blocks can be found in a row with small steps like 3-5 seconds, sharerate for SIGT should be at 15-30 shares/minute. I understand that it affects pool stability, but miners efficiency is on other side.
Miners will get reward only for 1 block in that cascade with low sharerate.
So actual mining efficiency drops by 75% in those cascades of blocks.

I believe thats the lowest you can go with it, probably just going for the lowest clock possible.

Exactly, that's the lowest clock that I can set to.
