Well someone else has to buy those high end rigs to provide computing power, no?

Miners already has those rigs Smiley
So nobody has to buy anything. Miners will make much more money for providing gpu power then when they are mining with the gpu's.

Don't forget that it will not only be GPU power, the mining rigs will look a bit different than some top ETH and BTC miner rigs.
I'm pretty sure that you will need a decent CPU and a lot of RAM also to get this working well.

They will probably need some adjustments to their machines but can be done

There needs a lot of modernization costs. It is not yet known for what period of time the i7 installation will pay off and the increase in RAM. You also need to consider the fee for electricity. In general, renting computers is more suitable for those who already have a gaming computer, and miners are easier to continue conventional mining.
everything will depend on the price increase for the PKT token

yeah thats my honest opinion too!

how the standard service is structured at the current time don t need miners, maybe in the future they will change the system,we will see...
They have plans to launch a demo with miners in Q1 2018 so I guess they will have that system in development.

Are u sure this is true? I would like to know how it is running then too. Cause if its currently centralized the lag/speed of the current games doesnt rlly count

Will they also keep the current centralized version and just add an option for miners? Because right now they should have a lot of hardware power to run the servers so it wouldnt be logical to sell everything.

Yes it wouldn't seem to make sense to sell all their hardware. Perhaps they will utilise these machines as part of the decentralised version. After all, it could potentially be quite embarrassing/disastrous if Playkey's decentralised version launches and there are more players than there are miners.
I'm hoping that the decentralised version will perform better than the current version in terms of less lag, but this will also depend on whether there is a good geographical spread of miners.

It is an amazing project but I agree with you that hard cap is too high. Still, i believe they will raise a respectable amount of funding.

they should , since they already have a working product. problem is, the fork is still 2 weeks away. that's what's keeping investors at bay.

I'm really curious about how the miner will work, I've already asked if it will be similar to Elastic (just serach for Elastic to know what I'm talking about)

When we will be able to test the platform? Q1 2018? (I read white paper, but don't understand).

you can test playkey.net right now. the streaming service.

The current test service is just the standard streaming service, not based on the miners platform, or have I missed something?
Yes, you are right at the moment the platform is running on servers

You have more than 2000 members in the telegram, it's very good.
On the official site, fundraising for the ICO is indicated.
Is this indicated together with the pre-sale?

Instead of using your service for existing games, one day we will see a partnership with some game developers to publish a game based on your architecture?

i see myself using playkey when my computer cant handle new games that require better specs and i just don't want  to upgrade my computer just to play 1 game
I heard that in the future the company plans to produce cheap and productive consoles. It's impressive

That would be awesome! I personally prefer playing consoles over PCs but its annoying having to spend $400+ for a new console every couple years.

consoles will die after the next generation. it's not a format that will stand the test of time. why would playkey make consoles? makes no sense.

Consoles will never die, they become more an more popular.

I am a console game since NES, it will not stop  Grin

At first, I was a true pc gamer since 486. Before that I had zx spectrum )

Bought ps3, then ps4 and don't bother with the upgrade of my computer at all.
