No one can predict the future of bitcoin. Don't ask about 100 years, about 1-2 years later that no one can predict what happen next. Just enjoy it now. Follow the road of bitcoin race. Earn more profits. Just do it.

After 100 year, sure i die already. I won't know the answer in my life. Actually, everyone do not need the thing, it will die (including bitcoin). Just dont know what day, what time. If you have bitcoin, you can sell it what bitcoin's price good for you. eventhough bitcoin keep going up, dont think about it. No one knows what's happen tomorrow.

100 years from now surely i will be gone but i believe that bitcoins will survive that long. And my children And my grandchildren will be into bitcoins i bet. This crypto currency is stable already. The more it last The more people got interested in it.

It is very difficult for me to say whether it will survive after 100 years or not but it can be said that it is now powerful and trusted currency if the value of this currency remains in the same as now then it can be not wrong that it will survive after 100 years because this currency has a competence and it is is widely accepted now.

Yes, I quitely agree with your view. It is too hard to say about next 100 years. But, with 8 years development of Bitcoin now, I believe an bright future for Cryptocurrency.

I don'tthink the bitcoin will survive for the next 100 years. At least not in it'scurrent state. The tech is evolving faster by the day and the bitcoin will need to make some major changes in order to survive for the next 100 years

I'm not sure that it will be BTC in our far future. However, probably it will be other criptocurrencies based on blockchain technology

I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

I think it is very much possible since bitcoin has become so established that its prices reaches now beyond $10000 and the mere fact that a lot of investors and people keeps an eye to bitcoin means it is something to last maybe not just for a hundred years. I could even see bitcoin to be a commonly used online currency in the years to come.

I think bitcoin will still exist but 100 years is unpredictable, we can not predict the future, but I think if it is growing bitcoin now it will last a long time is possible. For bitcoin to survive longer, we should invest and develop it more.

I cannot assure of what bitcoin would be after 100 years.
But I believe that bitcoin has a big role in the world for the next generation. After hundred years maybe many Countries will adopt this as a world currency and supporters and investors will arise.

If people can understand the good qualities of bitcoin then it may survive  more than 1000 years. But if the evil things are promoted through the bitcoin then it may not survive a decade more.

I am not against the growth of Bitcoin. Besides, its continuous increase in value for long period of time will be so beneficial for me as a trader. But 100 years is very long and too far to foresee and foretell if bitcoin will still be existing at that moment. It will always depend on how bitcoin will be able to sustain, improve, and easily adapt as the technology never stops upgrading. One thing is for sure that change is very constant and it is permanent. Maybe just like pounds, a paper currency which is the oldest currency of the world that up until now is currently in used, bitcoin will still be able to occupy a space in the market but we don't know if it will still occupy the top.

I wish I had seen it 3 years before but I missed it and now talking about it for the next 100 years would be illogical for me because the tech is changing so rapidly as we can`t predict anything.

We will know if our age can reach 100 years, but that is impossible. But if seen from the development of bitcoin at this time, I'm sure bitcoin will survive until 100 years into the future.

No one could tell. Our world is currently facing many problems that will go worst as time goes by like earth slowly getting destroyed, electricity, food and water supply that needs to be prioritized first. I could still see btc after 10 years surviving but I don't know after 100 years.
