Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ?

Still unexpected deaths. But didn't think that through, in 100 years (if we don't destroy eachother, you never know with humans) we would probably have a new digital currency (or one besides BTC), or maybe humans would be invincible. Maybe we'll be on other planets or BTC will become useless. To many variables I didn't think about before posting.

Yeah thats what I've been saying in reply to others. At the time of posting this I was more concerned about what would happen so I wasn't really thinking of things like another technology that could be better used for currency that we can't even imagine. Like the thought of internet in the 1800's, no one would've known this existed or anything like it. Probably unimaginable for them. We'll probably either destroy eachothers because humans are stupid, or we'll be immortal by then. Anything could happen

Presumably people will write Wills (the same as they do now) and they could leave their wallet passwords in the Will or some similar solution. They could also simply tell their heir the wallet password on their deathbed or transfer their wallet funds to their heir before they die.
I don't think it is a problem. In 100 years tech will be so much more advanced than now. We'll have wearable computers and our wallets will probably be embedded into our wrist or something! It won't be a problem like you think it is.

At present, there are many frustration over the BTC speed, scaling limitations and fee of transactions. In the next years to come, solving this problems is paramount! Otherwise, BTC will be replaced by other cryptocurrencies.

I think it can be, why? as we know bitcoin always gives us many profits start from investing, minning, trading or etc. Bitcoin is also a global currency with security from counterfeit currency. But life must goes on, we do not know in the future there will be technology that can compete with bitcoin right?

Yes i think it will survive for that long period of time. I think by the time goes by the bitcoin popularity brings noise in the world because of its features. Bitcoin is profitable and decentralized. And maybe bitcoin is becoming the world's currency. A digital currency. And there is no word currency, only bitcoin

I think the harder period for the virtual coin is over. Bitcoin has taken great care in the world and a lot of people have started using it. We are not able to determine what would happen in 100 years, but I think it is very likely.

Bitcoin will definitely survive 100 years and even more... The future of bitcoin is hard to predict since we have  seen ups and downs from it... But at this rate, bitcoin will definitely be bigger in the next five or ten years.

I do not know what will happen with bitcoin. However we can predict that bitcoin will continue to exist during that time because bitcoin is very popular right now. Maybe I can see a lot of opinions here.

It's really hard to talk about the future that far. Everything changes so quickly in the modern world that if one tries to predict the state of things in more than 20 years he will be most likely wrong. But I think if anything from what we have now will survive after 100 years Bitcoin is among the first candidates for that position.

Yeah, when and if quantum computing becomes a household thing, current encryption will be destroyed.
Either something more suited to that will be invented, or whatever BTC becomes by then will have to adapt
to the new paradigm.

Crypto will be a thing, but Bitcoin will be long gone. Technology is progressing faster and faster, who knows what AI's will be able to come up with.

Bitcoin is/was just the genesis block in the crypto progress blockchain. Maybe we'll see some of the more advanced tokens, but doubt it. 100 years is a long time with how fast things are moving.

I still can not say anything interesting because the 100 year period is not a short time and it is still far in my mind. If should expect that It may happen. seeing from year to year the growth of bitcoin enthusiasts is getting more and bitcoin getting popular among the crowd so maybe it happens

All I know is bitcoin will stay long but I doubt that long. I do believe it will introduce unique ideas though, and possibly help build the future. Who knows ..
