No matter what they do to harm bitcoin even if they throw some baseless accusations like it is a perfect currency for money laundering and msy support crime or ruin it's reputation in mainstream media by being volatile currency. They can't stop bitcoins growth no matter how many hard fork they've done it will always fail like BCC/BCH. There are many conspiracy theories out there about bankers but it may seem that they dont see bitcoin as of now as a threat but who knows maybe they've already made their move and invest in bitcoin while it's still low lol

I doubt that they will be going to start a war against bitcoin. Especially if the bank promotes innovativeness. They know that they cant win when they decided to oppose bitcoin. Instead they are just going to ignore it.

i think they have to switch or they will miss the boat, but banks will try to slow down the process of switching from fiat to Bitcoin. They need time for adaptation.

The fight against Bitcoin by banks, I think the big chance it will not happen, I have not seen any signs that banks against Bitcoin. Many central banks around the world do not recognize Bitcoin, but Bitcoin's Blockchain technology is what banks are seeking as a top choice for banks to develop a system general payment. If this technology thrives, the costs of foreign exchange, remittance and other products are expected to fall sharply, which in turn would be of great benefit to banks.

And after ignore Bitcoin, they will learning about Blockchain and apply it to their system.
Final, they can create new banking system use technology Blockchain can compete with Bitcoin in future.

Banks are so big and well established that they don't have to worry about digital currencies. They themselves innovate and I am sure they are also considering making their own version of the currency and offer as a form of investment for their clients. But I think they are more interested in the blockchain technology, first and foremost, as the future of the data management systems.

Now i never see any aspect of fight or war between bank and bitcoin.
But it is worried thing for bank, In future if people continuously using the bitcoin for transaction than may be bank take a step against bitcoin or may be bank share with bitcoin.
The main point is that bitcoin continuously give the people profit and in a lowest fee transaction.
People always prefer bitcoin than bank. In that moment bank will be done something for against bitcoin or may be not.

I don't see banks, waging war against Bitcoin. I instead see them adopting Bitcoin in order to remain relevant.

Never. Even the chinese dictatorship accepted Bitcoin under regulations. Some big people are working hard for a cashless society and of course Bitcoin would help.

And in some sense Bitcoin is better than physical goods if you want to create a catastrophe and slave everyone by surprise. Bitcoin works on Internet, if you unplug it then all Bitcoins are gone and you have nothing.

Smiley Am sure they are keeping their eyes on the crypto market but to go ahead and say they will wage a war is not fair. I think there is too much money for them to lose if they do that i think they will embrace it for a change. Plus surely their systems need a major upgrade and blockchain is the way to go.

i think they are taking advantage with this system since not all people knew about this system then they can use it on their profitable purpose
they can have do the deal using bitcoin in return to cash own by their client so the profits will still be there but the transaction will be more
faster.

I know we are still at a start of cryptocurrencies, but bitcoin is growing with lightning speed right now and some banks already see it as a potential threat.
There has been a lot of accusations form banks, that bitcoin is perfect for money laundering and is used for supporting crime.
I think they can do a lot of harm to bitcoin market and they will eventually start with harsh campaign against it.
Do you think it will happen and when?

Not sure if they actually will start a big war against bitcoin since a lot of countries have already legalised bitcoin and they are happy with where bitcoin is right now. This does worry me though since the government may want to end up controlling transactions soon, especially with so many dark web sites popping up after BTC-e was shut down.

Don’t think this will happen for another 3-5 years, Bitcoin doesn’t seem to be going mainstream anytime soon and the government won’t pay much attention to it then.

I do not think you need to doubt the war of Bitcoin and the World Bank, maybe they win in promoting their innovation, but I am sure that in the next few years people will know how valuable Bitcoin and the whole world is bound to change. To Bitcoin And to get it will be difficult, because Bitcoin only produces 21 million Bitcoin, then that's where Bitcoin will win against the Bank.

i don't think the banks will make bitcoin as potential threat because if the banks can see bitcoin benefit then i am sure that the banks will trying to learn about blockchain technology and if its possible, the banks will applied with their system too. maybe today, people still using the banks for the transactions but i think in future when bitcoin is grow and half of populations or more using bitcoin, then maybe people will change from the banks to bitcoin.

I have a doubt that bitcoin is not a threat, because it is a big threat to banks and I know/feel their something going on that we haven't known. Banks are made by greedy person behind them what really matters to them is money. And if the money they want taken away by bitcoin. I think they're already started a plan to stop it.

If bank are saying this, they won't be totally wrong because we have seen several hackers asking for payments in bitcoin in other to avoid the hands of the law but they cannot hide for long. Also, the war against bitcoin by banks is not their battle because whether we like it or not, the progress of bitcoin cannot be said to be complete without the input of banks because at this point where I can't spend my bitcoin freely then I need to convert to fiat or even deposit money in fiat to buy bitcoin and the banks made this possible.

I think there is no battle between bank and bitcoins .. because if bitcoin grows and is considered a currency then borrowers can also go to bank to borrow bitcoin and use them. At present, many banks also accept bitcoin and the government also has many supportive policies.
I also think and you are right that there will no battle between bitcoin and bank, because bank when all the world adapt bitcoin and then it goes to more famous and popular in that time I am sure bank will support it very good way because some banks are accept it now and bank play very important role in the world of bitcoin, so right in future when bitcoin goes to legalize overall the world then borrowers can get bitcoin from bank very easily and use it in multiple way.

I don't think there will be a war between banks and Bitcoin, it looks like they are getting along just fine, people like to use the safer option banks, but others would use Bitcoin due to the extra features.

If they really wanted a war, I still think that the banks would win. They have the government backing and more people will trust them than Bitcoin. They could just stop transfers from sites that are involved with bitcoin, etc local Bitcoin and then Bitcoin would be done for.

Well do not dream of this bro. If you wanted to start a war between this two it will only leave tracks of the other one. Get me? You'll just make the other one between the banks and the bitcoin with other cryptocurrency that exists. Look onto this, if bitcoin disappear, all of us who trusts bitcoin will disappear also. Not in the sense that we will got erase from this world but, we will lose everything we worked for. And for the banks. Every people that put their money on bank will lose also.
