Yes because bitcoin transfers are irreversible, so those who inadvertently enter an extra digit when trying to pay for something are out of luck. Finally, users need a private key to access their bitcoins, and that key operates like a password that cannot be reset. If the private key is lost or stolen, so are the bitcoins that go with it.

Bitcoin is safe and secure as long as you keep it safe. If you are new to bitcoin then before saving it you need to learn how to protect your wallet.

Yes, secure your wallet with many ways. Bitcoin is unhackable but wallet is hackable. Be careful
First thing is very important in my opinion is always check the website you visit. Make sure you type is better rather than you from somewhere like email or maybe slack. Or you can bookmark it. Anytime you go to wallet you click on bookmark. So thats first step to be secure.

yeah I think you should read how to secure your bitcoin in your wallet to be safe, perhaps by adding authentication or verification before logging in to your account, try to use that, I myself for 4 years using bitcoin has never been stolen and it proves that bitcoin is safe then read some articles to secure your bitcoin dude,,

It's been 8 years and no one is success to hack this site right? If you have a account in this forum you should keep your password and do not let the other know your passwords even your online walllet account for me bitcoin is very secure and you can't hack it but i know the online wallet can hack but it's hard to do if you signing up your account make sure that you're the only one will see the password

The security is safe as possible unless some careless users. First you must protect your bitcoin wallet, because bitcoin is unhackable but your wallet is not safe it may be hack by professionals

This is a big question for all of us. We may have different comment with this but is it really secure? For me as long as it is in the web it is not fully secure, In this very moment we can say that it is still secure because its functioning well. But we all know that many people are jealous with bitcoin. They are doing their best to destroy or put down bitcoin and create a new one that will be run by them. If we want bitcoin to be secured we need to encourage the jealous people to stop their bad ideas and just join with us.

Absolutely, Bitcoin is secure. Someone still can't hack Bitcoin.Bitcoin allows you to be in control your money. If Bitcoin used in legal way, then it can provide very great  levels of security. So,it can be said that from the other ways Bitcoin is most secure

Indeed, Bitcoin is secure and safe but the security of your wallet is prone to be hacked. Your wallet's security is depends on you, if you don't want it to be hacked, do everything that you can do to make it more secure. Don't leave it open to other's phone and don't tell your password to anyone.

Bitcoin is completely safe. I've never lost my bitcoin. I think it's pretty safe. Are you hesitant to store bitcoin? Do not hesitate because bitcoin wallet is quite safe. If you do not make mistakes I think it will continue to be safe.

Yes bitcoin is really secure. no one can steal bitcoin, except for our own carelessness. Smiley
The government can not be that easy to ban bitcoin transactions, because bitcoin is the future.

What do u mean that bitcoin is the future?

as everything occurring with bitcoin is genuinely reliant on the web network there are odds of being getting hacked. In the past there are a few security concerns with respect to the security of the bitcoin holding. Presently this has been made more secure with a few highlights and distinctive sorts of wallet accessibility and functionalities

In the eyes of those who knows it, knows it secure. Because theyre using it. others dont think its
secure because they think that t is illegal and it is not govern by a government so who would trust this?
most of the people are not sure if its secure because it is not yet known.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

Sure that there MIGHT be some backdoor hidden in bitcoin protocol, a few years ago there was news about NSA introducing backdoor to some cryptographic algorithms related to pseudorandom number generator. In theory that could lead to breaking of bitcoin protocol, but there are so many security experts working on blockchain and bitcoin. They check the impact of all such news and possibilities. The code is open source and everybody can check it themselves. So I wouldn't think the danger is real.

The real danger is disclosing your private keys because of the human error or the hack of your machine, so I recommend buying and using a secure hardware wallet.

Bitcoin blockchain or Bitcoins cryptographic safety ensures the prevention of hackers .if you think hackers are misusing your money transactions or trading of money then you are wrong , there is cryptographic authorization before accessing In to ones account. And as a Bitcoin holder you must always care about your account and manage it regularly.

We can't do anything if the blockchain has been hacked, surely the price of it will drop a lot even to a point that it is worthless.
