I would love to see scrypt coins added to this pool, like LTC and/or DOGE.
Is there any chance of this happening??

DGB has a scrypt option.

Kinda redundant to add Litecoin since there are a lot of other pools for that already.

DOGE is a merge-mined coin, adding it would be a total waste.

What I'd like to see is all of the DGB options pay into one COMMON pool on TBF, instead of each one having it's own seperate payout and payout limit.

I'm mining DGB Skein running 2 rigs with a total hashrate of about 5.5GH/s.

I noticed that the payments started to get irregular, even though I mine at exactly the same speed the last 24 hours. The rigs have been running at full speed continously.

Here is a paste of the latest transactions with a strange gap between 13:00 and 13:30. Usually I get about 100 DGB per hour (and 8DGB every ~5 minutes). But now it was two hours between 100 DGB's. Why is that?

It is going to fluctuate depending on the share rate that the pool has relative to the Net hashrate of the coin.  If more miners flood into the coin your relative hashrate and therefore share is reduced and therefore your payout is going to be less.   This is why you can't effectively mine Bitcoin directly unless you have a massive hashrate because the net hashrate of everyone in the world is massive.  It also may be that miners are shifting from one DGB algorithm to another affecting the difficulty and share of one vs another.  To maximize profits you'd have to compare your hashrate for the algorithm compared to the overall difficulty/net hashrate of the algorithm and even then if there are more miners coming to mine the coin you'll end up with less returns.  Also if the overall hashrate of the pool increases your share of all the coins found by the pool will be less as well.

Thanks a lot for the explaination. Yes, looks like more miners joining the pool.

The strangest thing was that sometimes the rigs just appear to be doing nothing for 30 minutes according to the payouts, but maybe that is just the fluctuations as well.

By the way, just tried setting static difficulties of 8 for my two rigs and my invalid hashrate went from ~17% all the way to 0%.
No more "booo"s from ccminer. Only "yes!". Smiley

That should affect the performance as well? Let's see

I am sorry but I don´t fully understand you.

You say that for example in McDonalds or Starbucks they say "hey, we have too much shops already open, we are not gonna open anymore?"

Btw, I am not gonna mine cryptcoins anymore, because too much ppl already doing it.

The other thing to keep in mind is that DGB is a VERY SMALL coin, with small network hashrate.

There have been times I could hit 1% of TOTAL NETWORK HASHRATE with my small farm on skein or on groetsl - and I could manage 2% or a bit over on skein AND on scrypt for pool hashrate if I moved just my NVidia cards and A2 rigs over right now.

A lot of folks "chase the profit" - and that tends to have network hashrate / difficulty bounce around a LOT on small coins like DGB.

It also may be that miners are shifting from one DGB algorithm to another

The only GPU mineable DGB algos are Skein and Groetsl - SHA256 has tons of ASIC options, Scrypt has quite a few, and Qubit is mined by the Baikal ASIC.

I doubt this is a significant factor - more likely folks shifting from DGB to other coins entirely as the profitability bounces around.

Hi,

I'm new to mining and tried to mine with nvidia GT9500 with: ccminer-1.2-myr-gr.zip     --algo=myr-gr -o stratum+tcp://stratum.dgb-groestl.theblocksfactory.com:9003 -u username.worker -p x

app started and connected and shows new block incoming and hash rate, but my worker activity is NO, and there is no activitiy what so ever on left side dash board.

is that normal or am I doing something wrong, please help.

How long did you leave it to mine?  It can take a while for it to start showing earnings.  Also what kind of hashrate were you getting?

 gt 9500?
If that's the outdated card from 2008 you're calling it, I'm shocked it would work at all as it only has 32 CUDA units at a very low clock and they're ancient CUDA 1.1 that almost nothing supports any more.
At best, you're going to get VERY RARE shares out of it - are you even getting 250 Kilohash/sec?
For comparison, in the limited testing I did a few weeks back I'm pretty sure I was seeing around 50 Megahash/sec out of a single GTX 1070.

Are you sure you don't mean a GTX 950?

We tried contacting you on Twitter.

Please can you upgrade to  Feathercoin 0.9.6.1  which is now the Feathercoin Master-0.9 branch.

The master-0.9 branch is production only.

Thanks!

I've tried to google this, can someone help me out. I'm mining dgb on skein blockfactory, and I've gotten 8 blocks found. Do I get rewards for finding blocks? If the answer is yes, where does it go? Cus my mining balance doesn't have those block rewards. Thanks

Pool doesn't specifically reward blocks for DGB-Skein - that was a promotion for something else on one of it's other options for a short while.

I have one rig with four 1080ti's and setting the difficulty to 8.192 helped alot. if you have one rig with two cards try setting it to 4.096

Does anyone know how to get the login password reset to theblocksfactory.com site?  I've tried the password reset feature but never receive an email.  There is also no support link as stated.  I started mining here a week ago and now can't login to the site.

Thanks,

I am also mining with 1080s, 2 cards to be specific. Getting lots of invalid shares with the diff set as 1.25. Seems like I get invalid shared no matter what difficulty is being set. Most of the invalid shares are job *** not found. Does intensity affect invalid shares?

I have a 5 GPU nvidia rig (2 1070s and 3 1060s) and I'm trying to mine DGB-myr-groestl.

I have tried every single version of ccminer I have and 95% of them return nothing but "share is above target".

I have tried the one suggested in the help section but it is terribly slow.

I don't understand this error, but do I need to set a static difficulty? Or intensity, or something?

Can anyone suggest any settings for klaus or alexis, or truvpot to actually make this work properly?

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah
