There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I'm having an issue with the DGB-Skein difficulty. It's show up, and so even though I specify username.workername_diff0.256 it's been ignoring my specifying the difficulty. I get some of them going up to Diff 5, which is ridiculous and I'm getting up to 35% rejected as a result.

I have GTX1060's so I need to set the difficulty lower so that I don't end up with stupidly high invalids like this. Previously it's worked fine and I've sat around 2-3%. What's going wrong with the server to make this now ignored / overridden?

Try 0.8 for your difficulty Smiley, let me know how that goes

I'm getting 11% rejects on my 5 avalon A6 miners, while getting 1.5% on my Antminer S7.
Tried changing number of devices between 5 (number of Avalons) and 1 (all connected to 1 controller), still very high.
Tried changing the difficulty. Right now at _diff32, still at 10%.

Antminer is at 1 worker, the Avalons are on another.

Any ideas?

EDIT: on stats page i saw recommended difficulty at 8k. Set it at 8192 and now its lower than 5%. More tests needed

Hi Waffi,

For the best difficulty you want to try get a share rate or 20-30 shares a minute in my opinion as that works well with mine. In regards to the L3, try 0.045 for the difficulty and let me know how that goes.

if you have any other problems or questions dont hesitate to send me a pm

Questions - can I withdraw DGB to wallet Electrum (btc)? Or via Automatic Payout Threshold: - I need to open a special purse for DGB?
Cash out / Manual Payout: - how (where) can I enter data for - Payout to:
I apologize for such simple questions - I am just one day theblocksfactory.com.

You cannot withdraw DGB to wallet Electrum. What you will need is a DGB compatible Wallet that provides you with the appropriate receiving address. at the moment I would recommend downloading Digibyte Core - Wallet which you can find by clicking here

If you would like a full run down/tutorial I will be happy enough to guide you through every step via PM so we are not spamming the thread.

Yeah the diff is being ignored unfortunately. Have tried diff of 1, 0.256, 0.8, none are staying and the difficulty is causing HUGE problems for the hashrate.

Changing to the MiningField servers and immediately I'm at 98.5% accepted, without changing anything on my side except the URL Sad

I just started mining on your myr-gr pool. Apparently your hardware can't handle me Sad

Can you check out what's going on and get it resolved? Half my miners are getting stratum connection issues and even the other users are now having problems. luna1080ti's hashrate dropped by half. Maybe manually adjust the difficulty on my one worker to diff of 1 ? Diff 1 should be fine for me.

[06:50:25] stratum_recv_line failed
[06:50:25] Stratum connection interrupted
[06:50:25] Stratum connection failed: Failed connect to stratum.dgb-groestl.theblocksfactory.com:9003; Connection refused
[06:50:25] ...retry after 10 seconds

I still have more miners to switch over  Undecided  Kiss

Thanks.
