Why are so many people against bitcoin?

I think it's natural on the in thing there must be two sides that can not be separated from each other, the pros and cons, so also in bitcoin there must be parties who do not like bitcoin for some reason they do not like but for sure as long as the person does not harm the owners of bitcoin is legitimate just happen.

bacause they are not interested in bitcoin thats why they are against on it. they aways thinking that btc is a scam and they dont even try it because they afraid of losing thier money.

Most people that are against bitcoin simply do not understand it or have no idea how to jump into it. Others also are huge investors but do not want it to be known so they just act like they are against it. But i think it would be easier if people did more research to realize how great bitcoin is

People are againts btc because they think negatively.because nowadays it is not easy to find money and in the end of the day they invested it in btc and in return they are scammed.that is their set of mind.

Internet, too, no one perceived as a means of information exchange and was afraid to use it, but after 30 years we can not imagine life without it, the same is waiting for crypto currency!

First of all bitcoin has many negativities, people feel like using bitcoin is not safe, too much freedom means people can do many things, things like scams, phishing, and more, hackers can easily break through, this is why we need to be extra vigilant, aside from people who has not experienced getting scammed yet be extra careful especially if you are holding holding a large amount of bitcoin.

If you are talking about bank institution then thay are against bitcoin for obvoius reasons: they don't understand it, although it is changing, and they feel it is stealing their marketshare. The governments are not so much against bitcoin as against bitcoin being not taxed

people are not so much against bitcoin per se, they are against the current situation in bitcoin ecosystem. Read the posts and threads, half of them is about complaining  and helplessness that people feel when they are trying to do the transaction and it is stuck somewhere in limbo. They are not against bitcoin. They are against what it has become and why the devs don't solve it.

Many people have very bad experience with different financial pyramids, which offers 100+% in a month. When they see a currency that progresses so fast, they immediatelly transfer. That's quite understandable.

Those people are not open minded for the new generation of currency. And they didn't know what investment is.

most of those against BTC are either ignorant or want to buy low,they missed the train and try create FU D so as to bring price. down and aquire more.
BitCoin  and block chain technology is the new bubble that's gonna stay for a long while.

In my connection environment I don’t know anyone who is against Bitcoin. Some people just think that this is some kind of illusion but they don’t really know anything about specific of blockchain technology.

I guess the reason is that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are less explored and therefore almost unpredictable whereas usual currencies such as USD or EUR are commonly and widely used, everyone understands how it works and where to find it.

I guess that they don't know what bitcoin is and don't undestand the mechanics of bitcoin or they don't trust bitcoin, because many of my friends that does not have bitcoin, often does not agree with me having one

Many people oppose bitcoins, because they didn't experience the joy of making money, and they saw no evidence of this. They are busy, they are against bitcoin, and this is not their specialization.

I do not know why people fight bitcoin. All I know is they are people who are not in the crypto environment and can not feel what we feel. Either jealous or what? they should be given insight into crypto and bitcoin.

I understand what's with there side. Maybe because it is still not very well known unlike the other traditional currency. It is just they are not well founded about needed information, so they dont have any idea about bitcoin, that's why there are so many are scared to invest and some thought it's illegal.

Because they have their own beliefs and opinion on what Bitcoin is in the future. They usually say that it is obvious that Bitcoin is a bubble that will burst and it is a wrong decision to buy or invest in it. Also, the government or some officials of the government hates Bitcoin because they say it is used for money laundering and transactions of illegal activities. Most common illegal activities that used Bitcoin for payments is the selling of drugs. Which actually should not be the case because they should those illegal activities will still continue even without Bitcoins.

Why are so many people against bitcoin?  Mos of people all over the world... are against bitcoin...most of them are really don't know what is the used of bitcoins....or what is bitcoiin....not all of them are know what is truly the used of bitcoins....

Yeah if a person is not having high information about bitcoin he will not like it and it is natural so this kind of people really need fine and good guidance to make bitcoin profit and then they will like bitcoin and will get huge profit with it. It is not bitcoins fault if they don’t like bitcoin it is their own negative thinking and their own ignorance so just let them be and just makes them aware of bitcoins benefits and use how to use it and earn with it.

Maybe the past years they are against it but I think a lot of them have changed their minds. I've seen some stories and even memes that they accused btc as a scam before then happy now because they already invested in it for the price of $20k.

I believe it's because it's disrupting so many traditional way of doing things. Banks especially are throwing fiery darts at it because its affecting them. And you know, it's the first cryptocurrency. New technologies are scoffed at first before they are accepted; most times after a long struggle.
