If I was in the Bittrex Exchange I always picked the largest volume, or the Dump coin a few percent. always set up a backup to keep the coins down to the bottom. I'm sure the coins will rise again, just need patience.

Try find coins that has own blockchain. See their roadmap and whitepaper. If you find token also, then try some utility tokens, not a payment token. Because payment token is useless, too much fee. Better pay it with eth rather than payment tokens.

The only good coins I see are the top 5 in the market cap. Trading is never been easy, the market is unpredictable and high risk is involve.

I think your opinion is too negative. There are many good coins out of the top 5 in the market cap that can bring a lot of profit if you invest in them. Example i bought GVT coin when it was ICO with $1 of price and now the price of GVT is $29. I think that no coins in top 5 can bring me much profit like GVT. Having many good coins but important you have to analyze all before you want to investing in.

In actual it depends upon that person to choose perfect coin for trading , I meant to say what type of trading he can , just buy and sell in few days or in few weeks or just hold for one day maximum .
Here personally what I do , just make eye attention at the coins and make sure whether the coin is fluctuating or not , if coin is fluctuating then at what range of the price , after see such types of the market of the particular coin , I made investment and then sell in that fluctuating interval of time of that coin .

The team involved in the project.
The roadmap and current status of the project accordingly.
Whether coin is part of pump and dump group if yes then join it.
The traded volume of the coin and market capitalism for it.


All these and many more factors will define the goodness of coin if they are on the positive scale. You can't just make it short investment but the longer one to get hold on that particular coin.

You can follow up coin market cap for coin up and down. Coin volume, calculating supply, coin history. You can also follow coin website, whitepaper, roadmap, team etc for coin chose. I think you must understand when you follow that thing a coin. Hope you helped.
