Why is it a scam? On the internet they only write idiots,  exchanges asked kneeling and please this coin in their wallets, , and you will cry for speaking ill of it and not buying it now. Bye

who can help me get btg
before the hardfork i have 100btc

In which wallet do you hold your Bitcoin, let us know as this would help point you in the right direction. If you hold your Bitcoin on an exchange then, depending on the exchange, you may not get any Bitcoin Gold; some exchanges will give Bitcoin Gold and some will not.

Many fake newbies posting many bullshits, dont try to use any modified wallet or non oficial wallet or you can get scammed.
I tried the wallet listed officially and didnt work if i have only my private key.
BTG value is decreasing, $190 at this time.

Hey guys - Its turned into a miners parade here!  Good luck to you all.

I have a noob question which I expect you can answer or point me in the right direction.

I had some BTC on Mycelium at the time of the fork
After the fork I transfered them to Coinomi
Question: What should I do to see my BTG coins?
You say you transferred BTC out of the Mycelium wallet?
How exactly you go about getting the BTG depends on whether it was a legacy address or an HD wallet.  I'll assume it's an HD wallet.
You have two choices:  export the master privkey for the whole HD wallet, or export the privkeys for all the single addresses that you sent BTC from when you emptied the wallet.  I don't know if coinomi can import an HD privkey, but coinomi is set up to import single address privkeys.
First try importing the master seed (privkey) from the Mycelium HD wallet in Coinomi.  If that doesn't work, you have to import privkeys from individual addresses.  Here is how:
You are going to have to restor your HD wallet in Electrum to get at the address privkeys, because Mycelium doesn't export them (Mycelium only exports the master key for the whole wallet).
Working in the Mycelium HD account that is now empty, go to Transactions.  The last transaction there (top of the list) should be the one where you transferred the BTC to Coinomi.  Click on that transaction, a bar will appear on top where it says "show details."  Click show details.  It will have a list of inputs.  These are the addresses you sent BTC from.  They look empty to Mycelium, but there is actually BTG in them.  Now you know which addresses you need the privkeys for.
Now you should install electrum wallet on your PC, and restore the old HD wallet, the one you used on Mycelium.  You still have the word list, don't you?  Restore from it.  Then it's pretty easy to find the addresses you located in Mycelium in the previous step, under the list of addresses in electrum.  Then you just click or long press (I forget which) the address and copy the privkey.  You import that in coinomi.

well looks like suprnova set the extranonce to 16 and ccminer only supports it up to 12. ccminer works @pool.gold, but that pool goes down every few minutes, and drops all miners ^^

Just finished loading my BTG from my BTC address :

- Downloaded the Windows wallet from the BTG website
and sync'ed it fully (took a day and half) then encrypted
it with a passphase.

- Moved my BTC to another wallet address for security

- Got the private key for the old address using the Bitcoin
core wallet console:
walletpassphase 'wallet passphrase' 600
dumpprivkey 'wallet address'
walletlock

- From the Bitcoin gold wallet console:
walletpassphase 'wallet passphrase' 600
importprivkey "bitcoinprivkey"
walletlock

This activates a re-scan to locate your coins and within the
hour my BTG appeared with new 'G' address that has the
BTC private key.

Next I'm going to move these to the address provided
after the sync of the BitcoinGold wallet for safety.

Happy retrieving, I've got nowhere to send them but at least
I have them Smiley

As a footnote when moving coins to a new address it is worth
sending a small amount first to check it works.

It costs an extra transaction fee but give you piece of mind.

I moved my BTC to a paper wallet from trezor pre fork and moved them back post I can see my BTG on the blockchain still just need to load my key and send them all somewhere

So far I have BTG on a paper wallet, some on HitBTC and some on suprnova from mining once trezor releases their update for BTG support then ill move them all on there until then they can stay where they are

- Got the private key for the old address using the Bitcoin
I got my BTG address without import private key (but priv need to do transfers).

1. https://brainwalletx.github.io/#converter -> select GameCredits (0x26 byte) ->
FROM Base58Check: BTC address -> TO Base58Check -> BTG address.

2. https://btgblocks.com/ -> G-address to the search field -> and see my BTG there (transferred before 491407 block).

Now I can do mining there but I cann't transfer. I don't want to download any blockchains and I'll using web wallets.
If get_work method will be unlocked in windows-qt, I'll download it, syncronize and want to do solo mining then.

I'm rooting for Bitcoin Gold! Also mining it.

Despite even this said by Theymos (which I largely agree with him on):

Anyone can create a Bitcoin-derived altcoin like "Bitcoin Gold" (BTG) at any time with no cost. BTG is a scammy cash-grab with no ideology and no economic support, not something serious like Bcash was. That's not to say that it's impossible to make money by trading it, just like with other scamcoins, but I'm not going to get into the habit of writing announcements and guidance for every Bitcoin-derived scamcoin. If you want to do a dangerous replay-unprotected coin-split maneuver in order to claim tiny fractions of your BTC in airdrop value, that's on you.

I will write a guide later for B2X (split time in mid-November), which is more serious. After that, the bar is going to be awfully high to get me to announce similar things.

Any "Bitcoin Gold"-like offshoot of Bitcoin that is GPU mineable, leverages Bitcoin's blockchain and user wallets, keeps scarce supply, open-source, and small blocks, I am all for.

In the longterm, I see no reason why this altcoin wouldn't be worth more than 1.5x price of altcoin "Bitcoin Cash".

In fact, I wouldn't see why the combination of coins of ["Bitcoin Gold", Litecoin, Monero, Vertcoin, Groestlcoin] wouldn't be worth more than 5x of altcoin "Bitcoin Cash"

Today in market cap terms; we have
altcoin Bitcoin Cash $21B
altcoin Bitcoin Gold ~$2.5B
litecoin 3.3b
monero 1.9b
vertcoin 0.2b
groestlcoin 0.04b

I predict longterm 1BTG=1.5"Bitcoin cash"; currently 1BTG = 0.12
I predict longterm [the combination]=5"Bitcoin Cash", currently [combination] = 0.38
Thus I predict a hard fall in relative terms for BCH

For the time-being, I'm mining Bitcoin Gold.

And I am holding onto both my Bitcoin Gold, as well as my real Bitcoin.

Go Bitcoin Gold!

[for reference, today, real bitcoin sits at $110B]
