I read fully this article but still now i feel very confused.Because i don't know when amazon announced officially in this news.Whatever if this news is right than i think absolutely it is great initiative from amazon. So far Amazon has simply bought some crypto-related domain names, but neither announced nor implemented anything specific. Fingers crossed for 2018. I think it is unlikely they will use bitcoin as a method of payment any time soon simply because of the high transaction fees involved, most purchases on amazon are of relatively small value making a transaction fee of $5-10 prohibitively expensive. I could however see them launching an ICO of some sort. Bitcoin is about to fork to activate the Lightning Network, which has virtually no fees and no transaction times. At that point using Bitcoin for settlements would be even more economical for Amazon than any of their current fiat methods. |

That indeed is a good development! It will gradually spread across all other online channels; just as we have some initiating that already.Hence we can have a bitcoin credit card and make online payment across the globe.I look forward to hear more on the acceptability all over the world,also payment of school fees for studying abroad wI'll be a great one.I expect other sites as walmart,carters etc to follow the trend also.

Amazon has not made a comment regarding the real reason for the registrations, but it can be getting ready to accept the currencies as payment or launching an exchange for customers to acquire them.
Amazon is accepting Bitcoin for payment. I am feeling please to hear this news. The Amazon is very popular site for its reputation. This is the good step for Bitcoin community soon the time comes when every shopping site is accepting Bitcoin for payment. The people feel pleasure for their facility to use bitcoin on Amazon. Actually the modern technology is acceptable for every sensible man or company. |

Lets see what happens to Ebay dropping paypal for Adyen . Since Adyen has integrated with Bitpay already here might come down some "Ebay accepts bitcoin" - pressure on Amazon...?  |

I think they are moving on to other cryptos, look for example at ripple, it's much cheaper than to transact it compared with Bitcoin. |

Amazon was to accept Bitcoin long ago. Such rumors are being spread almost every year and still there's nothing. For the time being i'm perfectly fine with buying Amazon gift cards for Bitcoin. The process is fast and easy and I've spent over 1000 EUR on the cards already as the store offers an almost unlimited range of products at affordable prices. |

Amazon have also just released a patent for a completely bitcoin focused market place. Not a bad team to have on board promoting the cause if this turns out to be true

That would be great because now i can buy on amazon even if i do not gave cash because you know if you are in another country and you wanna but on amaxon because you saw something beautiful in that site then you want to buy it but you do not have any credit cards so how. But when that happens i can now buy anything i wanted to and shipped it all the way through our house even if i am on the other country wherever i am. Thanks to bitcoins the life will be much more easier because it is much easy to have bitcoins wallet than to have credit cards |
