Thanks for the hard work wizkid057. Few know how tough it is to run a pool.
If you need any help getting larger servers for the web servers, let me know. I'd be happy to purchase the servers and donate them to eligius.

But it's a scam!!! Good on you gigavps - nice to see this community pulling (pooling?) together. I'll also be cranking up my donation percentage when things get back and running.

... and this would be the last time we'll ever hear from wizkid JK. I bet servers crashed as soon as he left the building. He is hard working guy but sometime you really need a little bit of luck on the top of it. Which wizkid lacks recently.

In my browser i see that - Estimated Position in Payout Queue 820.61279937 BTC are ahead in queue, putting this user's payout after a 32 block delay.
So statistics work for someone, not for me ? Now i see 3 versions - 1440, 820 and 52 BTC from my browser and peoples. But i don't see BTC in my wallet anyway, pool still don't pay and statistic work "bad" !
Listen son, you're not getting paid, ok? You're convinced it's a scam so a couple of us have decided that what you really want and what you really need is to be scammed, that way you can be right! I know it's tough hearing that you're going to actually get something right for probably the first time in your life, but after all your negative wannabe posts, we just couldn't turn you down. Consider it a kind gesture on our part, so what we decided to do, to prove to you that it was a scam was to donate all your mined coins to the pool. We felt that you'd really get a kick out of being right, so now you can be happy that everyone in the pool benefits at your expense. Think about that - the whole pool benefits. Awesome really, we win, you lose - but wait! - you're right! so you win too. See what I mean? So whaddayasay? Sweet deal, eh? The good news is that the kind folks of this pool know that you might not be interested in donating all your mined coins to the other pool users forever, so we've given you the option of choosing another pool or - get this - continuing to donate to the pool! Wow! I never knew this pool could be so great! And like you I'm pretty new to the pool, so I have to thank you for donating your earnings to the pool. You get to say it's a scam, we call it a donation, either way, you're a hero! What's it like to be right and totally loved and respected by the whole pool? I can't believe how you managed to do that, first I thought you were scammed, now I understand you donated your earnings to everyone else in the pool! Awesome dude! You pool co-admin or ? If you admin i will wrote forum administration your words and pool never return in paying pool... And i win 3 BTC if you right Luke-jr is the other guy running the pool. Ya know, the guy that wrote the software and Bfgminer? Ole is pulling your chain, you idiot. The payout queue is irrelevant at this point. After every failure, and I mean EVERY failure that Eligius has had, they've done a manual payout that resets the queue. Granted, this is the longest one I've seen, but the stat results are the same. He just migrated the whole thing to a new server. That's no small task. I have NO association with Eligius other than hashing there. And I am not worried. The only company I could be associated with is AMT miners, and that only peripherally. They gave me their smallest machine to test out. I tested it primarily on Eligius. I'm good with both outfits.

and so on which pool then go? Try Crypto - That's what I do for my backup pool. And then I trade coins to make a little extra before changing them to BTC and putting them in my wallet.

But I do think it's fair question to wonder why anyone would spend tens of thousands of their own money, and 12 hour days to support something for free.
I just want to briefly address this comment. As for money, the data center we are hosted at I've worked with for years. They're very helpful. Most of the hardware we have is donated, however I have been able to score some upgrades and additional items from donations and such and by sweet talking the data center owner. There are actually a few techs there who have their own mining hardware mining on Eligius from inside the same data center. (How's that for low latency?) So, we have a good deal of support from various aspects of the community, and it is much appreciated. When I contacted the data center this afternoon and was going over the issue they were all for getting it resolved and went to work seeing what they could come up with to help without breaking the bank. Turns out we were able to get a very nice upgrade to the main database server for pennies on the dollar. I put in my personal time and effort because I believe Eligius is successful, I believe it is the best mining pool, and I believe a legitimate and transparent no-fee pool needs to exist for miners to use to lower their variance without giving up huge amounts of their earnings to do so in pool fees. I personally want such a service to exist, and I use Eligius myself with my own hardware. Hopefully this helps. Thank you everyone for your support. -wk Thanks for the update. I think this is a good point to address. A lot of folks here are operating strictly on numbers, and if they can't quantify exactly what the profit margin will be, then they don't understand the motivation. Sometimes the technology, or the community, have their own rewards for participation. And people forget about donations helping to offset costs as well.

The only reason I jumped ship is because I wanted to try out multipool to see if it was actually profitable. So far, it's only been mining BTC so I don't see a reason to mine there. I'm going to get my min payout and head back to eligius, since I like how honest y'all are.
