Of course, create a forum where nobody can say anything against you ! Eligius still don't pay !!! All told Admin has no relation to payments. Can continue to praise him, but I do not change their opinions, and no payments is a major issue. Once again, happy for his creation of the admin forum where no one will ask awkward questions !

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Mystery solved. His mother definitely had too much vodka while pregnant.

I have no complaints and now worries.

wizkid057 and Luke-Jr do an awesome job on their respective work load on keeping the miner software and the pool running.

In my case, I also have to thank nwoolls for getting the ANTminers (AMUs) working with BFGminer. His latest stable version 3 is what I have been running and what you see the stats for above.

Thank you all for your efforts.

'nuff said.

Just want to say a simple THANKS to WK! Been mining for about a week now and this pool is all I really know. My brother however has been on here for years and he is someone who is extremely knowledgeable with this kind of stuff. My first payout was to be overnight on the night the site started having issues and even though I'm still waiting I have 100% confidence in the pool and WK. If you would have asked me to pick a pool and script how I would like someone to act who was in charge of the pool...I would wish that person would handle things exactly like WK has handled this issue, so...

Thanks WK...Truly appreciate your work (as I'm sure many many people do). Wish you all the best and hope you get to take a break soon.

What address do you use to mine at Eligius?

Purgenum on the sweet ! Any game with purses strain, problems with the statistics and the more payments, am I right ? So ghash also stop working... nothing to tell, jumped to eclipse...

For users of your intelligence level, I recommend dogecoins.  Memes are probably closer to your native language.

Hey, you damn scammer! I've been mining your pool for the last few days, and you only paid what you said you would. What the hell is wrong with you? (lol)

Sarcasm aside, I actually like Eligius better, but anyone calling the guild a scam is selling something.

I don't selling anything, i just want to understand what's going on !

Without going into specifics that I don't have access to, I can break it down. Maybe not to your level, but here goes. (observers, yes, I'm feeding the troll. I've never had an issue with stepping into a battle of wits with the unarmed).

One. Somebody mounts a deliberate Direct Denial of Service (DDoS) attack at a vulnerability in the pool. It apparently fails for the most part, but knocks part of the system out of whack.

Two. The system administrator (Whizkid, since you clearly have NOT read what went previous) puts the pool in failsafe mode. This suspends stats and payments, as they are vulnerable during the problem.

Three. Problem seems deeper than first thought. SysAdmin notifies everyone on this very thread that it will take some time.

Four. Problem seems easier to solve by migrating to a new server. SysAdmin AGAIN notifies everyone. States several times that when all is copacetic, manual payout will be done to catch up the queue.

Five. He encounters more problems. He works on fixing them. Again keeping us updated.

With, as you noted, over a million dollars worth of BTC in his care, it behooves him to NOT be in a greater hurry than necessary. Me, I'd rather wait than get shafted due to sloppy repairs.

tl:dr (this is specifically for YOU) Shit broke. The expert is fixing it. He's known to be good, and known to be honest. You're an illiterate idiot.

Eligius still don't pay and nobody know when he starts pay.

Reyhs: You're an idiot.  I think it's time I close this thread and start a new one self-moderated so I can filter crap like you.

In any case, everyone DOES know when they're getting paid.  Learn to read.

And I also offered to directly pay you your balance.  Why are you still here?  Get off of my pool.

Who said that the government does not care about the disabled? For the mentally retarded, for example, all produced: and movies and music, and books.

I'm not the ONE  Grin

I'll give you this much: You are good at pushing buttons. counting before and after registering, I've been reading this forum for about a year and a half. I don't think I've EVER seen wk tell somebody to get off his pool.

But I agree. You're diluting my earnings, assuming you are actually mining.

Oh, get the snip. You are FAR too stupid to be allowed to reproduce.

I think this guy is *totally* on to something!! Actually, it's probably even worse than just Eligius - BTC guild also just suspended payouts due to "technical problems"...
I am calling conspiracy - you read it here first. Probably all orchestrated by the same space aliens that have taken over the government.
Stock up on duct tape, bottled water and guns just in case!

Why are a bunch of newbie accounts suddenly appearing and posting nonsense in the Eligius thread?

Just curious.

Just went into failover again. I can always tell because the fan speeds change on my miners for about 30 seconds or so.

wizkid057 :  a big thanx for your job , and for also taking the time to inform all pool users about every updates.
thanx again for all your efforts, and a big  fuck to all the  trolls  Wink

Rattles of nails, 5% and down... I just told you what i really see and my opinion about that - pool still don't pay, statistic down again (or admin is turned statistic off), more then 1400 BTC hold on his wallet. It's facts, scam or not i don't know !

Um...if you could manage to write in proper English, maybe that would help your credibility. Then again, given your posting history?  Maybe not so much anyway.

I just run a rinky-dink Bitgem pool with off-the-shelf software, and it's thrown issues my way from time to time, but nothing like this.  It looks like the pool ops have things in hand and are scrambling to get back on track.  Cut them some slack.

Another newb here Smiley  I started mining yesterday with some BFL's purchased on craigslist.  I knew Eligius was having problems, but decided to start mining there anyway.  Even though I have no stats page for confirmation that my stuff is working right Wink  I am confident that my stats will start showing up soon, it looks like the block log is almost up to when I started mining yesterday.  Anyway, thanks wizkid, and please don't decode that all newbs are worthless morons Smiley

1. I take offense to the "newbie".
2. Just responding in kind to this guy. More fun than debating allegations
3. Are you sure there are no aliens in the government? Normal people don't behave like they do :-)
4. Thanks for your efforts to get Eligius back on its feet!

No concerns about payout here. Only reason I'm checking is because my damn bitfury has stability issues when it has to failover :/

Are you running chainminer or bfgminer?  I ditched chainminer pretty quickly once I got bfgminer running on mine.  It has no problems failing over, and it also lets me run my BFL miners without running another computer.

Im switching off my two blades tonight as soon as Im clear of the payout threshold, it seems that they are no longer profitable Sad
If the pool would like to make a small contribution to my shortlived mining experience then heres my btc address 1N1Ajs4PVvSeDg2jiPd2yJNS7SvPZExeYM

Thanks to everyone on the BTC forum, sorry to see Eligius in trouble in my final days!
Im in the world of litecoin from now on!
See you there!

How much are you paying for electricity that blades aren't profitable??
