The good news on C-CEX being walled off for a month...no pumps/dumps

No more pump and dump schemes by the big miners for 30 days.

Since they cant get any new bbp in there, the price will find a natural equilibrium. (price rise?)

Then when the exchange opens again, it will flood in with all those new mined coins (price drop?)

Wont they just go to coinsmarkets and dump their coins there?  Good news for that exchange, they need the volume.  I don't mind if the price goes down because I'll buy some if it dips.

Did not know about another exchange. Why is the price 10x more than C-CEX?

Hello, I'm curious about this coin "Bible coin".
Is it for evangelism, charity or to sponsor missionary work?
How will this help promote the work of God in the crypto world?

In terms of pool mining, if I update my servers now I can just close my eyes and leave them through Christmas and New year and they will keep on mining?

Thanks again

Theoretically, yes.  As long as we dont need another release, and I pray we dont.

Regarding that ccex post, if all goes well this weekend with us Ill skype him and see if he can bring us up before he leaves on vacation.

Yes, please skype Yuri. I didn't realize c-cex was suspending withdrawals and I've got BBP in my account that I need asap for a sanctuary.

Thanks

This will be because of the rapidly changing BBP/USD ratio. Rob put these on the pool quite a while back and the BBP worth has increased since then.

Perhaps there is a way to have a dynamic "price" for a product? This is difficult because people could take advantage of "pump and dumps". In theory they could dump the price, but a product more cheaply, and then pump the price back up to a higher level.

May I suggest then that the dynamic "price" of a product be something like the 30 day (or some other timeline) moving average price of BBP.

EDIT: Also, does this include the shipping costs?

The exchanges were Binance and HitBtc.  Lets wait before we jump to conclusions, until after I get my money back.  Im still waiting for my 3.5btc refund on the deal.  Once I know the exact nature of the situation Ill do everything I can to reach Binance and Hits Sr managers and find out if I got scammed by a perpetrator or not impersonating sr mgmt.  Its a sick feeling to be down 3.5 btc.

Shocked That's awful. I hope that you will get your money back soon. Yes let the senior managers know what happened, hopefully it is one of their employees.

Yeah, its kind of funny I only hear negativity after being the first to have ecommerce in the wallet.

Yes, the price is dynamic it changes hourly.  It includes shipping.

We would have to sell 100 bibles a month to break even, but we have the kiddies here who think we could stay in business by giving packs of gum away for free.

Hi Rob,

Please don't mistake my comments for negativity, I apologise if it came across that way. I think you know that I am very excited about the Amazon e-commerce connection Smiley !
Because I work in mathematics I guess my mind is on time-series data. In fact, in my work I often have to reduce "noise" in a set of data, so perhaps my comments were sub-consciously channeling my work!

Really appreciate this latest development. We should be sure to advertise this to the masses!

Oh yes lets cry poor. Let this kiddie do the math for other kiddies:

- $2490/month from the 8% pool fee

Its now $2557 per month (goes up with btc + bbp price)

221214 coins mined in pool in 24hrs

= 17,697 bbp per day (8% pool fee off 221,214)
 = 495,516 sat per day (17697*@28 bbp/sat)
 = 14,865,480 per month  ( 495,516*30)
 = $2557 per month (@ $0.0001718516/sat)

- $1250 - $7356 PER sanctuary . You should soon publish stats on how many you got from that
- $10000s in selling BBP as you were very first miner when difficulty was nothing . and surely had lots of firepower to keep mining

Does that not cover your 'costs'Huh

Where is the personal data from the orders sent? How can we trust its secure?

Rob - the thing with you is you are not transparent and then the math speaks for itself. Then when I call you out on it, you delete to try to hide that truth.

You are making MOUNDS of money so do not cry poor. No one is stupid here.

You know that Rob doesn't make money from you running a sanctuary? I don't think you understand how escrow works.
The coins are not transferred or given to anyone. They are STILL YOURS. You lock them in to run a masternode, but you can withdraw them at anytime and close your node.

Come on man, who sells the coins?? Who can supply 1.5 million BBP?? If not Rob and his early miner team then who?
You tell me other miners are selling to other miners instead of running their own nodes

Who has the coins and who sells them is irrelevant. Your comment was suggesting that the escrow amount went to the pool/dev which is incorrect and (whether intentional or not) very misleading.

Also, I checked on Amazon, the cheapest I could find shipping (for new not used) for the bible was $3.83. So $3.83 + $5.41 = $9.24

Leasing Fractional Sanctuaries

Btw, if we can simplify the idea and remove any regulatory risk, we still might be able to lease fractional sancs.  I just dont want this to become a support nightmare or drain dev resources.

Im going to take a look at keeping the funds in a cold wallet off site.  Maybe we can have one test sanctuary in the next two months to see how this goes, we'll see.  (Im thinking maybe the pool will go out and rent one first, and then just have the UI for the lease portion only with a very simple buy or terminate option).
