This is interesting. I have created the first Hindu Coin, and am Currently doing the ICO on Facebook and other Social Media, rather than on Bitcointalk. And I will be announcing Temple Coin on January 20th.

But I am interested in this.

I want to help people understand Ancient Books better. I have been a Certified/Ordained Hindu Minister since I was 17 (and Hindu since I was 14), but even as a Hindu, I have a deep understanding of the Bible.

I first read the Bible when I was 14 years old (which is why I left the Religion; everyone should go read that whole Book, and compare it to similar Books), and I read it from front to back. I know where everyone is in the Bible, you can find David is Saul for example, there are also other Books of the Bible in the Catholic: Apocrypha, and the Gnostic: Nag Hamadi Scriptures; and if you want to read the Regular Bible in great Detail, go to "BlueLetterBible.com" it creates a link for every single word in the Bible, allowing you to do all kinds of searches and look at what they are saying in multiple languages. It is similar to how "Red Letter Bibles" underline Jesus' words in Red, this is the Bible with Links.

Now, the following is a Quote, first a Quote that is not Benjamin Franklin, but is actually a Quote in his writings where he is Quoting someone else, and then right after that are his words.

“In old Time it was no disrespect for Men and Women to be call’d by their own Names: Adam, was never called Master Adam; we never read of Noah Esquire, Lot Knight and Baronet, nor the Right Honourable Abraham, Viscount Mesopotamia, Baron of Carran; no, they were plain Men, honest Country Grasiers, that took Care of their Families and their Flocks. Moses was a great Prophet, and Aaron a Priest of the Lord; but we never read of the Reverend Moses, nor the Right Reverend Father in God, Aaron, by Divine Providence, Lord Arch-Bishop of Israel: Thou never sawest Madam Rebecca in the Bible, my Lady Rachel, nor Mary, tho’ a Princess of the Blood after the Death of Joseph, call’d the Princess Dowager of Nazareth; no, plain Rebecca, Rachel, Mary, or the Widow Mary, or the like: It was no Incivility then to mention their naked Names as they were expressed.”

If common civility, and a generous Deportment among Mankind, be not put out of Countenance by the profound Reasoning of this Author, we hope they will continue to treat one another handsomely to the end of the World. We will not pretend an Answer to these Arguments against modern Decency and Titles of Honour; yet one of our Club will undertake to prove, that tho’ Abraham was not styl’d Right Honourable, yet he had the Title of Lord given him by his Wife Sarah, which he thinks entitles her to the Honour of My Lady Sarah; and Rachel being married into the same Family, he concludes she may deserve the Title of My Lady Rachel. But this is but the Opinion of one Man; it was never put to Vote in the Society.

Presup

1. The same as yesterday, appeal outside your own reasoning by appealing to the reasoning of other people and the work of people before you.

2. Pick an absolute. Like Lobsters, ask the Atheist "Why are Lobsters Illegal to over fish in Florida, why did God make it that way" They will most likely respond confused, then you tell them that it is for conservation purposes to make sure lobsters exist in the future. Then you proceed from there asking them why God did different things with Lobsters, and at this point, they are no longer in the presup argument.

Pascal's Wager

This one only needs 1.

1. The Christians say "Well, what if God is real, it's better to believe than to not, just in case. And if it's not true, I believed something for no reason and who cares?" the way you respond to this is by saying that is the religions of Abraham one day aren't the most popular, people could hunt down all the circumcised people and kill them, and you don't want to put your descendants through that, so might as well not be Abrahamic.

Evolution

1. The Christian says that "no one has ever seen change over time, and we will not live long enough to ourselves". SHOW THEM FOSSILS. Look up "Whale Wolf Transition Fossil" and I am sure you will find something you can point to and show "This used to live on land, now it is in the water." Then show them the Fossil Record of Humans and things that we passed down like fire and dream herbs, so that they can see that these people existed in a timeline and not at the same time. Then when they say it doesnm't make sense, show them Frogs and Beetles and Butterflies.

2. The Christians say "The Bible has a table of lineage, and it tells me that from Adam to Jesus there were only enough Generations for approximately 6,000 years". All the Atheist has to do is look up "Syro-Palestinian Archaeology" and show them things like Jericho 10,000 vs 6,000 BC and Bethlehem and all that.

3. The Christian says "There is no mechanism for Evolution". Ask them how they would prepare to go to Alaska, then ask them how they would prepare to go to Mexico. Then ask them if they think they had kids that grew up in there, if they think that kid might have kids with people there. Then ask if they think those kids will be different from the other kids there, and if they are different from the kids in the original country, There is your mechanism.

And btw, Christians should talk more about Nephelim, Behemouths and Giants and stuff. That is the kind of stuff that would stop so many people from being Atheist.

Christians will like knowing this, but when Christians say "the Flood Myth is in every Culture", it isn't in every Culture, but it is in a lot of Cultures, and it was in Native American (Not just Native US Native Americans) Mythology. There is an Incan God called Viracocha and a Colombian God called Bochica. These were people who were said to have come and taught the Native Americans various different Crafts, and Stone Working, and other arts. It is most likely that this was a Person who came on a Boat. I believe the Legend says he came from the water on a Snake or a Feathered Snake, and then taught everyone, and then left by Walking away on the Water; he is also pictured with Tears to represent the Rain and Lightning Bolts in his Hands. This is likely a story about someone who came from Asia or Africa; maybe even a whole Tribe that just became part of America and a story was passed down. Thor Hyderdhal proved that you do not need a Hull on a Boat to get across the Ocean.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thor_Heyerdahl

And also similarly to the Christian God, there is a Mountain God, called Apu (Lord), and the storm God called Huracan (Heart of the Sky) the source for the word Hurricane. Looking at these Gods gives you a better Perspective on the Mountain, Desert, Sea God of the Middle East. And they have a Flood Myth, and in their Flood Myth God created the Earth 3 times. Once, he created people from Stones, Giants, and they displeased him so he Flooded the Earth, then he made Humans and they displeased him, so he Flooded the Earth, and now we are in the 3rd phase supposedly after whatever the Native American name for Noah is. So the Flood Myth exists in very different Places, and the same Religion exists in very different iterations. Because really everything mentioned here is Jewish, except for Viracocha who is like their Jesus.

And this is kind of strange, but Corn supposedly comes from America, but there are examples where Jewish people used Corn Motifs on their Spears. But supposedly they didn't know about Corn.

You are a SPAMMER my friend, a SPAMMER in denial who is  apparently infatuated with alcohol related products.

That is not Spam. I posted it 2 places. In my own thread, "The Temple Coin Town Project" and here, for you guys, since you are Christian.

How can something be Spam if it was posted in 2 places, and is on Topic.

This is what happens when you veer away from the Lord, Jesus Christ:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-5228857/A-10-year-old-drag-queen-founded-drag-club-kids.html

I've seen too many NDEs where Jesus gave an Indian or Muslim a second chance by showing him Hell, and it becomes clear these principalities exist where some of the "gods" you refer to are actually running a principality in hell.  If you hang around these spirits long enough, you will eventually find they backstab you.  The same ones you think Love you are going to turn on you some day, because they dont care about your soul.  They want their daddy to get it so they will have an easier night with less torture for themselves.

John Ramirez talks about this, hes done it all:

One thing I stumbled upon that should be fixed.

The password reset emails on the pool never expire.. if you click on a link from days ago that was sent to you it will reset the password again. Also, It should maybe email you the new password rather than displaying it immediately. But if the password reset email link expired say after 10 minutes.. then it's probably not a huge deal to display the password immediately.

just some thoughts..

thanks.
Fixed; now they only work once.

I can't remember who requested the pop-up bible verse when a transaction is received by the wallet, but it will be in the next release.

Hey Rob, Alex, et al

Thanks for all your hard work. I have a question for you.

When the auto withdrawals from the pool started, I was on vacation for Christmas and New Year's and I wasn't able to check in on my mining or my pool account. Now that I'm back I see that my pool account has been sending my mining yields to an address I don't recognize. I think it was post-password reset time and I'm trying to figure out where those went. It's about 10k BBP. Can I PM one of you the address to see if it's a dev address or find out where they went? Let me know if you can help and what I can do. Thanks again.

Edit: Actually, It looks like there was a transaction in my history of a little over 8k BBP to my mining account but those BBP are nowhere to be found. I'm a bit lost here.

Hey Durbellion,

This is Rob's pool so you will probably need to wait for him and/or pm him to sort this out. Sorry about that.

The 8k, was it a single transaction? Is this way more than you usually mine? Because over that time the pool was hacked and withdrawals were stopped. The way Rob did this was to add a large transaction to each account so that the immature balance was larger than the total, hence none could be withdrawn. We all had this, then that transaction was reversed when withdrawing was reenabled. That could explain the 8k

Hi Durbellion,

I see your account.  You can see your transaction history in Reports | TransactionHistory | Click Printer icon to export to csv (we recently changed it to pull the full history since inception).  Anyway auto-withdrawals will show up as "Auto Withdrawal" , but you actually dont have any yet.  Primarily because your balance in the pool has to be higher than 100 bbp and the auto withdrawal has to exceed 10 bbp, so you have not been triggered yet.  However I see you did click the button to authorize auto withdrawals to BKLZE, and that address has been withdrawing successfully.

This brings up a good point for everyone:  The pool will not be responsible for giving any credits back that have been sent to bad addresses.

Once you click that auto-withdraw authorize button, if the pool sends a reward, its gone and cannot be reversed.  We do check the validity of the address before sending, and we will trace a txid for you, but if it went to a wallet you do not control, those funds are gone forever and will not be credited back to your account.  (In contrast to the pool hack, where I am working to ensure everyone receives their actual pool balance refunded to them, as that is Owed to them).  Now, moving on, obviously we need a way to shut off auto-withdrawals, that button will be added today.

So please download the CSV and email me if you have any concerns, everything looks OK.

BiblePay - 1.0.7.5
Leisure Upgrade

- Competetive mining feature:
The idea behind competetive mining, is for those with fast processors who mine so fast that they run out of nonces,
this feature automatically adds a tithe for the orphan foundation for a miniscule amount (IE 1 satoshi or .000001 bbp)
IF you run out of mining nonces, and only increments to 2 satoshi again if you run out.  However, when the block changes,
the amount is reset to 0 again.  Alex and I have tested this and it appears to give a 5% mining edge.  Therefore I wanted
to release this as quickly as possible for general consumption.  Since it gives a mining edge, I made the feature ON by default.
To turn it off add the key: competetivemining=false to your biblepay.conf file.

- Pool SSL Support (change pool=http:// to pool=https:// and remove poolport=80 in biblepay.conf file to use SSL).

Is it have a problem?I found some upgraded PC can't running bbp process , but old version still running normal....
I tried to reboot or change dns, and changed back to port80 but it seem not work..

quote:
# Error: Error: A fatal internal error occurred, see debug.log for details
Error: Failed to connect best block

I just got the same error. I am reindexing now...

EDIT: Re-indexing seemed to work

1.0.7.5 version seem have problem.

It is the second times occurred , I am re-indexing again.
I worry it will happen again....

Hello all!
I have been following this thread and this project for several weeks now and I am really excited to see the hard work and dedication going into developing all of this. However the last couple of days it seems to me that the only concern you have regarding troubleshooting is with the MN owners, not the miners.
Several people reported the above mentioned error and I also experience it regularly since updating to 1.0.7.5 on different machines, different networks, even different cities across Germany. So the error is definitely not on my side, because also the configurations on these machines differ from each other and each and every one gets this error after a few hours of mining.
However, no one has offered any permanent solution or even explained where this is coming from. I think the only reason so few people have this problem is because judging by the connected peers on my systems most people are still on the working version 1.0.7.1.

So when will this annoying problem be fixed? Another question you never answered was how this new "competitive mining" feature really works. Right now it seems to me that all the update did was giving an even bigger malus to the faster CPUs and DualCPU-systems and more and more degrading mining output. For example my 10 year old Core2 laptop with proclimit 1 is sometimes producing almost as many shares as my Dual-hexacore-Xeon server on proclimit 12, which is absolutely ridiculous.

I understand that your main priority right now are your precious masternodes, but please don't forget about us small-time miners and remember that without the miners your blockchain wouldn't really work either. Comparing the output from before Christmas or even from last week I'm currently at approx. 10%, which barely - if at all - covers my electricity bill.

Thanks for your time and effort and God bless this project!

Edit: For clarification: up to now it seems that the error only occurs with the linux client (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS in my case), the windows wallet doesn't seem to be affected.

Hey Dave,
Looks like your comment just answered the question that I posted on reddit.  I have an older i3 that is far out performing the i5 that I have.  Below are the settings that I am using, and the results that I am getting.  The crazy part is that I have a laptop that is outright killing my two desktops on hash rates.  Also, I agree that the output of coins received now is lower than what it was before the update, and that makes my chance of getting a master node almost zero.  See below:

"I need some assistance please. I just setup two new computers to mine Biblepay tonight, and I am pretty confused by the results.

I have looked up benchmarks for both processors and in every way the i5 should be smoking the i3, but it is exactly the opposite. The i5 should have twice the performance, but it is coming in at under half.

Anyways, here is a breakdown of what I have:

I3 - 2120, no gpu, 8gb ram, win 7, and overall just a slug of a Dell machine

i5 - 4590, msi gpu, 12 gb ram, win 7, and is very fast overall

On the i3 I have the genproclimit=3 and it is using ~ 75% of the CPU. I am getting approximately 950 hashps.

On the i5 I have tried several settings and had to rest a genproclimit = 2 due and 60%. 3, 4, and 5 would peg 100% on the cpu. I am getting 300 hashps at 2, 400 at 3, and 500 at 4.

To top this all off, I have a laptop getting 2500 hashps at 4.

Any help would be greatly appreciated."

I am not seeing the error issue that you are so I can't give you any assistance on that front.  Best of luck.

Hi Dave,

Its just not true that we only care about precious masternodes.

Here is the way I view the priorities right now just so you know:  I want to ensure we are ready for block 24600, so we can pay our orphans.

Next, I want to maintain production support levels.  That includes any critical errors with 1075.  And finally, I place a very low priority level personally on any "hash speed discussions".  So maybe thats the point of contention.  We only have enough resources to talk about the prod support and the critical errors and not about peoples mining speed, unless its an inconsistency in the pool that affects everyone.

Of course we have time to talk about how competetive mining works.

But first:
So, Im not aware of a critical bug in 1075, and have not received a log.  Can someone please give us a log so we can see what stopped the node in 1075??

There is no way to even look at a problem without a log.
