ride22 do you know that results for solo and pool is different? You are saying hash rate is different? Hey, I am compiling a list of CPUs and hash rates. Let me know what you have and what you are getting.
Sure, do you have plans to publish that compilation? Yes, it will be on the biblepay forum in the mining section.

Looks cool at first glance. It will widen the gap between early adopters and recent ones, but this seems a fair trade-off if it finally achieves the aim of getting rid off the botnets.

This sounds like an interesting project, however it requires that more stable exchanges are used to trade the coin. Is there some other exchange on the road?

Yeah, we have been working with one of the top 5 over the last 45 days and they claim they are going to decide on Jan 24 if we are listed or not - but they demanded they stay anonymous or deal can fall through. If that falls through Im going to be working with coinexchange.io and the decentralized ones that inblue posted a lot closer.

On Jan 15 my wife's windows wallet apparently solved a block. However, it was during a time when there was a flurry of upgrades, so I'm trying to figure out if this reward is legit. Here's the info:
Status: 599 confirmations Date: 1/15/2018 08:47 Source: Generated Credit: 6544.92734529 Biblepay Net amount: +6544.92734529 Biblepay
Height: 25832 Difficulty: 1052.901935 Time: 01-15-2018 14:47:32 Subsidy: 6544.9273
I entered the Height/block number in the block explorer, here are the results:

40 threads! I wonder if would be better result with 8 (as you have 8 threads per cpu). It's not clear do you have 1 machine with 2 x this cpu or 2 separate machines? If you have 1 dual machine, then I would set it to 16 threads. dualcpu

Before 3-4 days I solved 3 blocks, but the wallet crashed. It also show no confirmations for 2 of the blocks (I think it was version 1.0.8.1). After reopen the birds were gone.

Chances are likey they were on another fork. If it isn't on the correct chain, and you upgrade the wallet, they will be removed.

The Bitcoin Forum Admin that runs the Forum Ads is claiming that BiblePay is an ICO "I noticed this time that your ad is for an ICO, but we do not accept ads for ICOs. The fact that you wanted to advertise an ICO slipped past me when I checked your last ad; I'm sorry for causing you to waste time on fixing the ad." -theymos "Hmm, I'm not sure... I see that it's not a traditional ICO, but since the architecture is maybe quite centralized (with the orphan fund and masternodes), perhaps it could be considered "an ICO with more steps". For now I think that it's too close to an ICO. You could create a topic in Meta requesting public comment, and if there's consensus that it's more like eg. Litecoin than an ICO, then I'd probably allow it." -theymos I will be posting this in Meta section as suggested, this is quite strange UPDATE: Posted in Meta: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2785959

Look into your Data/backups folder and I think you will find there plenty of backups of your wallet. I think you can copy and rename one instead of the live wallet. Make sure you close the BiblePay app first, and also keep wallet.dat copy. There is also many wallet repair tools under "Tools->Wallet repair".

Sanctuaries are *decentralized*. Our agreement with Compassion is Voted monthly - and each monthly expense is a decentralized proposal. We are not a coin with a centralized orphan fund, we have decentralized voting that keeps voting for our recurring expenses for our #1 partner: Compassion.

I technically expect buy orders until we have 250 sancs... but I dont expect people to go wild either, because they probably dont want to pay more than DOGE to buy sancs, unless they have to. I do have a message in to ccex, but havent heard from him yet, so I wouldnt expect the exchange to be open right away. He probably has over 1000 emails to work through.

CoinsMarkets Exchange posted an official news update:
"About the down time , Time : 2018-01-19 First let us explain what is coinsmarkets , we are based on 2 investor , 1 admin , 1 coder , 2 senior support and 4 general support . In November last year 1 of senior support left the team , It is hard enough to hire a new one , this work is based on a lot of trust , so we still waiting for correct condidat.
Now let's move to the issue , in December we experienced a lot of new users and huge volume , we were ready for double or even triple volume but in our case it was 10x+.
From here all kind of problem start with servers , Now add to that the last senior support remaining have some family issue and was forced to be off most of the time . In addition to all that there was some db corruption issue we faced due to the overload and later hosting issue.
So a lot of work to do with a lot of missing stuff.
Please understand that in exchange you can't just go and hire someone and trust him millions of dollars .
We are sorry for lack of comunication about issue we have thought that people already trust us enough , and we invested 100% of time in restoring the site .
Now issue with hosting , hosting complained about a lot of fraud report from users about our service . We find this really hard to explain , it is clear that not even a single coin has moved from our wallets , and once again we are here to stay ,
We have not even released 10% of our road map , there is a lot of new future to be added in the nearest future.
A week ago we started negoation with new host that can accept similar service , we initiated the move ,
The Database was fixed yesterday night .
Now remain to setup new servers , few fix here and there and service will be restored ,
We write our news only in coinsmarkets news section , any twitter , chat msg etc is a scam ,
Again Official Coinsmarkets message are written only in coinsmarkets news section ."

C-CEX seems to be open for a couple of hours now. I tried depositing some LTC and it worked, but I am not sure if it's safe, because there aren't any official announcements yet.
But BiblePay stays in maintenance anyway.
