You should offer Bounties for that work. I could find people to do it though, you can also use Craigslist since BBP is actually worth money, and that would help it spread also.
Like 500 BBP for X, or 100,000 BBP for X.

Sure, but with a bounty Id be setting the price when I dont know how much the work is worth,
so ideally Id like someone to quote me how many hours of work and their pay rate, and if paying up front Id like to see proof of previous work, real name, etc,
otherwise Id pay half up front and half after its finished, or pay after the fact, any way works,
but in general I'm against setting the price myself, since I dont know the value of the work.

BiblePay has a 2.5% PR and 2.5% P2P budget, so there are a lot of coins that can go towards marketing/advertising,
and I would most definitely create a proposal for this work, but Im willing to take on the risk myself of my own coins to get the ball rolling.

I just talked to the Print Shop, they are interested. And have a full time Graphic Designer.

My Bible reading for the day. I share my insights with the Biblepay community

Why doesnt God speak out loud?

The atheist asks 'If God exists, why does he not speak audibly to humans and remove all doubt?'  After all, they say, if God is all knowing, all powerful, eternal, and ever present, shurly He could speak a few words to us. Or is your God a mute?"

Indeed many times in my life as I have cried out to God for wisdom, I have asked for signs and a clear 'Do exactly xyz about this situation'. But no audible voice was heard.

The classic Christian response to this question is God speaks to us through His Word the Bible. He has laid out His commandments, His precepts, and many accounts of His dealings with peoples throughout history. And it is true in the Bible we have many accounts of God speaking directly and audibly to His prophets of old.

But it seems a bit of a cop-out. Why does God not SPEAK OUT LOUD?

I found the answer this morning in Exodus 20 and Hebrews 12.
Let us read:

When Moses took the Israelites to the wilderness, he took them near the mountain where God rested. In Exodus 20:18 we read:

Quote
18. "And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.

I want you to picture and hear that scene in your mind. Imagine standing in front of such a mountain! Of course the people 'stood afar off'. But look at what it says next:

Quote
19. "And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die." .... "And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake;" (Heb 12:21)

This scene before them was terrifying. They begged Moses to be an intermediary between this 'God of the fire mountain' and them. As they would be terrified to hear the ACTUAL voice of God.

In Hebrews 12 we read:

Quote
Heb 12: 19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

Heb 12:26: "Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain."

Here we find the answer to the atheist.

God will not speak OUT LOUD as it will annihilate  us.

His voice is so powerful, it would shake earth and heaven itself. The atheist would not stand but be blown away like chaff in the wind.

Thank God He does not speak out loud! Thank God we have His Words instead written down for us to read in our own voice. And thank God that believers and those that received His spirit (that cries Abba-father) can hear His voice in their own spirit.

Why do you not maintain Facebook activity? It's a perfect way to communicate and spread the information.
For example, the LuckyToken has own Bounty Campaign that is connected with Facebook and where you can write reports about your activity up to rules.

I created a new dedicated forum for mining issues, more specifically for HashPs discussions, troubleshooting, General Mining, etc.

Would someone like to volunteer to moderate this forum?  You could moderate and help solve technical issues with hashps.

And finally, Alex suggested an awesome idea, that we maintain a spreadsheet with a reference to OS, processor type and hashps.
Whoever the mod is, could you please create a global sheet also?

http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?board=6.0

I would be interested in helping out.

Hi Dave,

Its just not true that we only care about precious masternodes.

Here is the way I view the priorities right now just so you know:  I want to ensure we are ready for block 24600, so we can pay our orphans.

Next, I want to maintain production support levels.  That includes any critical errors with 1075.  And finally, I place a very low priority level personally on any "hash speed discussions".  So maybe thats the point of contention.  We only have enough resources to talk about the prod support and the critical errors and not about peoples mining speed, unless its an inconsistency in the pool that affects everyone.

Of course we have time to talk about how competetive mining works.

But first:
So, Im not aware of a critical bug in 1075, and have not received a log.  Can someone please give us a log so we can see what stopped the node in 1075??

There is no way to even look at a problem without a log.

Thank you for your explanations (also in your other posts about the competitive mining. Indeed that makes sense. I have copied the last lines from the debug.log, where the error occurs (wasn't really sure where to start...):

I need to restart some of my miners once/twice per day (reindex fixes them)
The miners that are failing use HTTPS.

The few miners that are running using http seems to be not affected (I haven't needed to restart them, but they are also slower machines)

@Dave, are you using HTTPS or http?

I am getting Bible Pay some new users Smiley and over the next week or two it is going to explode. Then over the next month there will be no turning back, it will just be a known Altcoin by the end of 2018. Like Doge Coin.

Are you mining via the pool?

We seem to not hit any blocks last couple of hours.
In general we mine about 20-25% of all blocks with the pool.
So it could be that we hit no blocks for 3 hours and then 3 hours a lot of blocks.

Any rumors about new markets?
@Bible_pay?

Or at least one working market, because one is on maintenance and the other is offline/updating datacenter and showing only useless cached pages Cheesy

I don't believe there is such thing as a Hell.

Hell is very real.  No one chose to exist, yet through no fault of their own, by no fault of any of the decisions people who suffer with chronic illness have made, people with chronic illness suffer every day with no hope of relief.  They suffer with no hope of relief.  That shows the existence of Hell.  Christ came to show He is the Living God by actively healing people with chronic illness, directly showing his power over Hell.  None of your gods healed people from chronic illness.  It is just like your religion to claim any god is an avatar of vishnu.  That is not impressive.  You have decisions to make which can lead to escape from Hell.  But people suffer from no fault of their own decisions and you think you can escape suffering after death while you had the knowledge and ability to make decisions that could save you?  I believe in Hell much, much more than the existence of Heaven.  An afterlife of existing as a spirit is undesirable to me.  Existing as a spirit means you know you are dead.  It is an uncomfortable feeling.

Thanks a lot for the logs guys.

Huge question, the machine that is running over HTTP successfully without restarting, is it running 1075 also?

This way, I can isolate this down to the HTTPS feature.

Thanks!

I've seen too many NDEs where Jesus gave an Indian or Muslim a second chance by showing him Hell, and it becomes clear these principalities exist where some of the "gods" you refer to are actually running a principality in hell.  If you hang around these spirits long enough, you will eventually find they backstab you

Interesting, indeed I use HTTPS on all of my miners (seemed like the right thing to do...), so perhaps it's really related to that. As soon as one is crashing again I will return to HTTP and see if it runs stable again.

On another note: since the security update on the pool page (required password change) I have to log on again and again because the auto-logoff is set to just a couple of minutes. This is really annoying when you want to watch your miners' output over let's say 1-2 hours because I have quite a complicated pw that I need to type over and over again. Wink
Just as a suggestion: would it be possible to 1) change the auto-logoff time to maybe 1 hour or something like that and 2) add the function that after typing username and password you can just hit return to login (instead of having to click on "login"; not sure if this is complicated to realise...)?

Any rumors about new markets?
@Bible_pay?

Or at least one working market, because one is on maintenance and the other is offline/updating datacenter and showing only useless cached pages Cheesy

What? CoinsMarkets is down too, oh no "last man standing" is down... Wink

Thanks a lot for the logs guys.

Huge question, the machine that is running over HTTP successfully without restarting, is it running 1075 also?

This way, I can isolate this down to the HTTPS feature.

Thanks!

Yes they run successfully with 1075 without a restart.
And there is one fast machine there also so I yes the problems look to be at the https feature.

Edit:
Before crashing the log is spammed with:
socket error accept failed: Too many open files (24)

10-100 per second.

And if you ask, 'Why isn't He healing these people today?'  It is because Christ is ascended in the flesh.  Before He left, He said with his own words, "Night is coming when no one can work."  Miracles aren't impossible but they are improbable.

Really good video of someone who claims to be in hell for 23 minutes.
