I apologize for coming across in a harsh way to anyone.

That's great, but as the (unread) Forbes article says, your apology will not prevent future behavior of the same kind.

And how about you apologize for the "Widows incident"? Heh, see what I did there? I'm making you apologize. How does that make you feel? Not good, because you don't believe you are at fault for that. And that's the key thing you don't understand about interpersonal relationships and life in general - if you are the protagonist to yourself, it doesn't mean you can't be the antagonist in someone else's life. That is, in life you will believe all or almost all of your actions are 100% good and pure, but that doesn't mean that you didn't do harm to someone else. Someone's views on some topic could be unaligned with yours.

Furthermore, not everyone around you is bad; they could also think that they are good and that you are bad (I don't mean good or bad inherently and always, but just today, or for some action or sentence). For example, you can type something and then you automatically expect that everyone must agree with that, or else they are - bad, not pure, misinformed, stupid, or whatever. Or you see someone else write something and you think they are bad and that they are doing that intentionally (or as you said for the Togo case - "in spite"), while you don't stop to think that that person probably believes that they are the do-gooders and that they are doing something of benefit for the community.

As an outsider to this heated conversation I agree with you. Rob seems to be amazing developer. But like myself and many of us developers we are not good at public discussions. This thread was going to right way as people were quite polite and there was lot of answers and improvements.
Nowadays I feel fearful as I see that rob has written to this thread.

If a proposal is voted down, I'd say live with it. At least wait a month before you try again. Why do people get to re-submit a second proposal if the first one is voted down? I don't think any proposal should ever be hidden. It really is an insult to the entire process when people treat it like a working document. Oh, let's just change the proposal's intent on the fly or re-submit it because the BBP amount is wrong. Proposal process needs to be treated with the utmost respect.

Spot on, guys.

I see you blocked me from PM's as well I'm not sure why...   I would like to discuss further with you but I don't think every conversation needs to be in public.

Tell me one reason why. We're talking about project-related things, not our personal lives.

I'm trying to help bridge some gaps.  There is a time and place for public discussions, some of this stuff is dealing with more personal issues than anything else.

I'm having a deep discussion with Rob in e-mail that I would not attempt to post here.. (I know it would not be received the same way, and would add more fuel to the fire).

We were trying to start with a clean slate where t-mike and I were helping to maintain things here

Yes, I respect your and tmike's effort very much. Everything was well until user bible_pay showed up again. And wasn't the deal that he will retreat from this place? I can't remember your exact words.

I appreciate your comments, and there has been a lot of bad blood..   I never said Rob couldn't speak here, but yes he agreed to let us manage the community.   Old habits I suppose?

Regardless,  I am trying to be the referee here and work with both sides.   If we continue to do back and forth fighting we will never make any progress.

BOTH Sides need to cool off.   Instead of personal attacks lets get to the heart of the issues...  Give me some time to work through some of this..

I agree with you We would not be where we are without Rob's vision, dedication, and time for this project...

I don't think he, (or anyone else) deserves to be attacked or ridiculed on a personal level, lets keep this above board.

It's ok to ask questions and work on trust/accountability, but lets not reduce these issues to personal attacks, as that creates two problems that need to be addressed (and reduces the likelyhood of either being resolved).

Even though things have gotten personal with the sleights and insults, one thing appears to me. That we are a community, and some of what has been brought up really needs to come to light, for the community about how things are being handled. They affect us all. Let's have a non-censored discussion.

It's actually in the best interest of everyone. Let everyone hear. If you all want to argue about whether so-and-so is acting Christian enough, then PMs are the way to go. But for community-wide issues, like how proposals work behind the scenes and potential conflicts of interest.  How can we say that only affects one person who needs to work it out in private? I don't want to make any comparisons to political parties who employ that tactic. Let's just say it tends to end badly for all. I'm really hoping that doesn't happen here.

Do I, as the owner of a tiny amount of biblepay, have the right to understand the proposal process?
Is it true anyone can just "reboot" their proposal until it passes (those with the most votes can take full advantage of this?
Can proposals really be hidden, and who has the decision on that?
How many nodes does the lead dev have?

These are examples of questions that arise because information only comes out piecemeal, maybe leaked from private conversations and messages. I don't want to see this sad trend continue, so let's get things out in the light, maybe then it's easier to trust again?   The problem with "let's just start over", is the questions that spawned the controversy are left unadressed. so the release of tension is only temporary. Then the cycle starts again, maybe with something new added to the fire. We can fix this, but we have to make some new patterns.

Biblepay 1.1.6.0-Leisure

- Address problem with automatic R@H interaction through BOINC client in MacOS. (https://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=297.0)
- Improve error message for Linux and Windows (inner workings remain exactly the same) on the same BOINC interaction.
- Masternodes are not affected.

As it's more critical for MacOS users, I already released this version for them.

It's a goofy error and could stand to be cleaned up for your case.

Open the wallet, go to settings->options
then "wallet" tab

then check the box for "enable advanced coin control features"

After that,  go to the send tab,  and send to one of your addresses.   click the "Inputs" button and "Select All"

This will consolidate all your coin to 1 transaction & address, and should fix this error.

Why are you trying to instigate a negative response? ...

Are you only here to cause trouble?  If so then I need to apologize to Rob...
I had assumed you were trying to bring things out into the open for an actual discussion.

He and I are having some in-depth philosophical discussions around how to handle things here,  I must say despite issues in our past,  it has been good to have a real conversation with him.
