why do you think the fact that half of all the MΣC will be mined by the end of this year is a bad thing? I think that's great! if megacoin eventually becomes a major currency, why would new investors or consumers want there to be a greater amount of unmined coins still out there? you seem to want (a bit) more inflation of the currency to happen later, after widespread adoption - by then the richest people in the world would probably have the best mining equipment giving them an advantage to mine the most, i.e. rich get richer? please explain your justification.
2.
if Kimoto did patch it, and now MΣC is a good coin, then who cares what initial problems it may have had? if you think we're going to dismiss Kimoto as being incompetent just because he argued with you or ignored you, that makes you seem ridiculous. from what we've seen, he's an extraordinary developer. megacoin's intrinsic value, once fully developed and then widely adopted, is/will be the result of Kimoto's great work, as well as the rest of the MΣC community.
do you have any VALID objections to megacoin?

in my opinion, the only real value any alt-coin can have is its potential to be better than bitcoin.
I (and most of the people on here, I think) don't see megacoin as the next litecoin imitation at all. once megacoin is fully developed, hopefully with zerocoin untraceability, simple-to-use, user-friendly understandable and good-looking, with all kinds of apps, and you can easily make fast secure anonymous irreversible MΣC transactions and purchases anywhere in the world, I do believe megacoin WILL be a better crypto-currency than bitcoin and WILL become adopted as a major worldwide currency. eventually, maybe the currency everyone uses. that's far down the road, of course.. it's wishful thinking.
governments probably can destroy bitcoin, but if we learn from bitcoin's mistakes, I think megacoin will prevail!

underestimating megacoin can be hazardous..
