http://www.npr.org/2013/01/29/170588505/scientists-discover-dung-beetles-use-the-milky-way-for-gps

I need to get some dung beetles. They might know the outcome of the next roll.. magic seeds, dragon babies, and dung beetles watching the milky way galaxy.

"Okay, Mr. Beetle, should I roll HI or roll LO ?"

... waiting ...

used the site yesterday, pretty fun and pretty fast.

only bad thing was no day spa, you lose 200 btc in 60 seconds you expect a day spa!!   Wink

hehe just kidding, best of luck all.

I wonder if there would be any interest in a "high roller" version of the site where the house edge is 5%, but all big players get shipped luxury items for playing.  Smiley

Hmm... make 10 bets of 100, get sent...
1000 * 3.5% = 35 BTC
~= $3500
A round-trip cross-country plane ticket with hotel paid?

Sounds like fun!

Hell, you could fly high rollers to the spa and back

I recommend asking me for a signature from my firstbits or GPG key before doing a trade. I will NEVER deny such a request.

How you lose so much in 60 second?  What were you betting?

$20,000 is a decent bit.  It never looks like much when expressed as bitcoin like in that snapshot, till you convert it to fiat.

Hello dooglus. Great work.

What risk am I taking on investing large amount of BTC on your site?

What is done to secure servers, funds and you from hostile governments and accidents?
What if you are accidentally hurt/killed or some government wants to close your business?

Thanks

Hey.

Risks:

* Someone might get lucky and win a significant chunk of it; it has happened in the past, and we didn't fully recover yet.  House profit is only 0.38% of wagered, when the edge (and so expected profit) is 1%
* I could be running a scam, waiting for the cold wallet to reach my target amount and then run off.  I won't, but you can't know that.
* I have access to the server seeds.  It means I can bet under a false name whenever I choose, and know my rolls ahead of time.  I can slowly bleed the bankroll dry and you'll think it's just bad luck (see point 1).  I only ever play under the name 'dooglus', and then only for small stakes, and never look to see what my rolls are going to be ahead of time.  But again, you have to take my word for that.
* The server could be compromised and an attacker could gain access to the seeds.  See previous point.
* The 'lucky' number generation code could be found to be predictable, allowing players to win.
* I could get hit by a bus and have the cold wallet passphrase die with me.
* Probably more that I'm not thinking of.

The servers are regularly backed up and kept updated with the latest security patches.  In the event of shutdown by government, I'll refund balances to your emergency withdrawal address (set it in the 'account' tab).  In the event of my death, an encrypted message will be dispatched to trusted third parties giving them the required codes and instructions to refund balances.

How does this work?  I've know people who have died and they stop functioning immediately.  How do you send a message after death?  Would it work if your in a coma or if your kidnapped, lost in the desert, develop Alzheimer, wife won't let you out, get arrested, etc.?

Dom

He may have told someone "If I die, send this email to these people". Not that hard.

Or a timer you have to reset regularly. If the timer hasn't been reset in some days, assume the guy is dead, and send the email.
This really is the best idea.  To auto-send balances to the emergency withdrawal address from the cold wallet if the timer is not reset.  Should be a long enough time, like 1 month to prevent accidental mass withdrawals. How this would actually be implemented without being reliant on a susceptible server which could be shut down by authorities though I do not know.
