This coin didn't gain traction cause what I wanted to be done couldn't be done.
This coin didn't gain traction cause no one needs scamcoins any more. And your plan was to create a scamcoin which you admitted from the beginning, to pump and then dump in 3 years. Ahahaahaaaa. A 3 year scam coin. And I told everyone about it ahead of time. Just the qualities of a scam, right there, no quick overnight riches and total honesty. Boy, I wish more scammers were like that. It's too bad you think you're smarter than Harvard PhD's otherwise you wouldn't keep saying such senseless things. Not that Harvard pros are always right , like they think there's no way Bitcoin will ever get its ETF license and I laugh at them laughing but that's cause it's a socio-political angle and they don't see it cause they're economists with their heads stuck inside their books and their financial models while I'm trying to not forget my schooling while at the same time trying to think freely. But the definition of a Ponzi Scheme is black and white, it has numerous characteristics that a 7 year old can look for. And I covered it in detail pointing out why bitcoin is a government scam and I even gave factual historic and economic facts why it has to happen. Alas, it all missed your narrow mind. Decide, listen to idiots on the internets who say these coins are a fad and will be gone in a few years, or listen to Harvard pros who say its a Ponzi scheme and then ask why the govt hasn't shut it down and then you'll realize you can stand to make millions. See, this isn't my scam, it's a global banking Ponzi scheme and many countries are involved, so why am I a scammer if I see it and I want to be part of their scam game? Why should I always be on the losing end like the rigged stock market when I can finally see and play by their rules but this time being ahead of the curve, 2 steps of ahead? And why don't you thank me instead of dogging me, if I'm right and you do as I say, board numerous alt coins you too can make millions of a legal govt and bank funded and backed scam. You're welcome!

your coin would gain interest if you focused your efforts there.
I am here, 16 hours per day. A few days ago I pulled 48 hours straight. This coin didn't gain traction cause what I wanted to be done couldn't be done. Even now with the best programmers here I was told what I want would require too much work but twoBits fixed it. So nobody wanted to mine a coin which was broken and malfunctioning from day one and which was being constantly attacked once by an 81% attack. Why didn't the coin, die? Also, some were so vocal that it would die the whole first week, scaring people off, and the ironic thing is that these guys were the very ones who went and copied my coin, exactly, not adding anything to it and are dong pretty good. Almost planned or what, why copy my broken coin when there's some great coins to copy? Nobody has her given me an answer yet to this. i am here when i want to be, this coin died when you were dissing people. Even a broken launch can be relaunched. Cool yo heels and ask for help from reputable devs. in the end , this is starting to look like a 14yr olds facebook page. You want in on crypto....get a team of devs to do it for you and pay them. All this is risky business and speculation, only a few people have the right formula for coin launch, hype and trade, so until you get those skills, pipe down and get a crew. Maybe you haven't noticed but I put up out of pocket bounties after the first few days and guys like Towbits and MarkM (and others) have been working on the code and actually fixed the VGB protocol. That was the main issue. And it's hard to put together a crew when a few clowns rile up the whole board until I have to give away all the premined coins which were meant for bounties. Only .25% premine and all for making the coin better. What a joke - I should have never fallen for that lame pressure I just wanted to prove I wasn't a scammer and I was left with no coins for bounties. Big mistake on my part - never again. If that's not a coder crew then nothing on here is. Those two are some of the best here. And I have to beg them to accept the bounties.
Serious pros with serious character.

I am an idealist and I don’t believe in making millions out of thin air, and I lack respect towards those who do so. Honest people should earn their living by providing useful goods or services to others, and not by cheating on them. And dishonest people are doomed to fail. And when you say bitcoin is a government scam, do you mean ZOG? That would be the only plausible government to be behind bitcoin. Oh, I forgot, you don’t understand what decentralised means, I’m sorry. Never mind, I’m going back to writing my new masterpiece “Quantum Mechanics for Bears”.

What does that mean? I looked at the code but it doesn't mean anything to me. TIA. It means, Dear Vlad, that you missed a Big Opportunity! You should of done your homework and learned about alerts. If you had, you would of been able to send your unique ponderings to every nugget client. Can you imagine? Anytime you wanted, you could make a little message appear at the bottom of every nugget client on the network, almost guaranteed to be read by your adoring fans! But now, woe, the litcoin devs control the ability to send alerts! At least until version 1.0.2, which includes a super duper change by twobits.

Oh, I forgot, you don’t understand what decentralised means, I’m sorry. Never mind, I’m going back to writing my new masterpiece “Quantum Mechanics for Bears”. You're so funny. Cause of course a decentralized coin can never be made and/or confiscated and turned into a fully centralized and closed source coin, cause you said so, and your the quantum bear guy who doesn't even know basic US History. Cause the 200 IQ geniuses at the NSA and all the power, money and control in the hands of Western Governments just can't find a way around your unbreakable logic, weakened rights, or nearly gone personal privacy, eh? Talk about bears, are you 18, do you not know any basic US history, do you think today's people in govt are somehow better than those from 80 years ago? I'm a foreigner and i know that on the contrary, they are more evil and the need to expand the govt monetary base is way more crucial and urgent now than in 1934, when ( once again, for the deaf, dumb and blind) THEY DID THE SAME THING WITH GOLD! If you had paid attention to some of the historic and economic real hard FACTS I have been posting on here you may not have to write for bears but rather to a more intelligent audience, like maybe pigs. And you're such an idealist - you're here mining free money, ahahhahahaaa, is that the honest hard work you're referring to, you honest hard worker you? Cause plugging in your computer and going to bed and waking up richer overnight for doing ZERO Work and then not even paying a single cent in taxes on that free easy money you did nothing to earn earn out of the thin air you claim to be so against, is exactly the opposite of the phony idealist you're portraying yourself to be.Unless of course, you spend hours on these boards just to give altruistic advice and you have no intention to ever mine coins, invest in them or anything like that, right, you're just here cause you're bored and you really wanna help people with free advice cause you're such an honest hard worker. And if you do make say 100,000% like what happened to Namecoin, since you're such a self proclaimed honest idealist I'm sure you'd just donate all that money to charity, right? Ha, I can't stop laughing at how fake you are but you don't even see it, do you?. Hahahahaaa. Dude, you're the biggest fraud, but what's sad is I think you actually believe the lies coming out of your own mind. Cause nothing about alt coins is hard work - even the programming, it's 99% copy and paste (while the mining, which is most likely what you're doing is ZERO work after the initial setup, and all pure overnight EASY NO WORK tax free, free cash, cheater profits) so if you're doing anything with alt-coins, unless you're giving them away for free then you are enriching yourself by doing little to ZERO work while judging a guy like me for doing the same thing,
The only difference is I at least have the balls and integrity to take some educated risk and I'm honest about the whole thing while also seeing the whole picture while your narrow mind and arrogance doesn't even allow you to see straight historic and economic facts I have posted numerous times. The bears you write to would have gotten it by now, but boy, a smart guy like you, there's simply no room in your genius, self-righteous mind for the truth and hard facts. Now Please do go write to those bears you genius you, cause your intellectual abilities, your "working" so hard while sleeping and watching porn while your computer plays Ponzi scheme games and serves you up with easy-no work tax free money, and pseudo-sincerity sure has me confounded. lol!

But now, woe, the litcoin devs control the ability to send alerts! At least until version 1.0.2, which includes a super duper change by twobits. Thanks for the heads up. When you pay, you know, a reputable programmer to build a coin shouldn't stuff like this enter the conversation especially when you clearly state tnings like: "I really wanna add features and I don't want another CrapCoin." Cause I just kinda thought I would get the best coin possible especially since its mostly copy and paste. Man, it seems most programmers here aren't even good at the copy and paste part. VGB was supposedly copy and paste and it took nearly 2 weeks to fix. Well, that sucks, now we have to wait for another much needed update. Well, if we can at least get VGB to work right that would be a huge thing. Now what I don't get is, I've invited and even dared people and hackers to attack and kill this coin and obviously so many hate me and this coin and it would be so easy that one guy with a good rig or max a couple good computers could probably crash this coin - so why hasn't it happened?
Another question which I'd love to know just like the one about 2 or 3 exact clones of a coin everyone says they hate and its not even fixed or working right. I mean, why wouldn't these copy cats add something new or clone a much better clone? It's the same money to launch so why this coin? I've asked this question 20 times and not once answer. It can't be that cryptic, someone has to understand this madness. Thanks again for the advice, I hop Twobits sees this, unless he already knows. Man!!!! Plus my laptop got busted, and all my coins were on it, I gotta take it in tomorrow cause I think it's just the screen. Either way, it sounds like I'm gonna need a lot more bounty money. Thanks, 777!

No, my honest hard work includes creating useful product for people that need it and providing people with goods and unfortunately I don’t wake up richer overnight after my computer has solved another task for Folding@home. As for mining, I am doing it exclusively for fun, and so far a lot of time has still to pass before I recover the funds spent on mining equipment. No one makes free money on established cryptocurrencies nowadays, and I don’t want to participate in scamcoin mining because it is absolutely useless to others. I’d better mine Bitcoin for almost no profit so as to add hashpower and security to the network or let my computer fold proteins for free. So, I am not to be blamed for participating in scams, and I don’t work for any government. And as for your speculation about gold in American history… Well, you missed an important point. U.S. Govt is not a world government and Bitcoin is not the U.S. currency. And to outlaw Bitcoin worldwide we really need nothing less than ZOG

U.S. Govt is not a world government and Bitcoin is not the U.S. currency. And to outlaw Bitcoin worldwide we really need nothing less than ZOG First, I'm not speculating about gold, I'm telling you historic facts of what the US govt did in 1934 to expand its monetary base when it needed more money - they stole it via a scam like crypto-coins. There, that's the 7th time, maybe you'll look it up now. So you're mining for coins, which is no labor and free tax free profits but its honest for you cause you haven't paid off for your mining rigs yet. You idealist you. Do you think you'll pay them off and start seeing profits in 3 years? Cause my timeframe was 3 years, no exactly overnight, and I work hard for this coin I'm launching, besides studying up on it, being here to answer questions and taking care of bounties, I'm spending 16 hours per day and I have yet to see 1 dime in profit and unlike your mining scheme I still pay out via bounties while you're only laying for electricity which is paid by the coins you're mining. So my 16 hours of work per day to lose money and provide a source of income not just for miners but for programmer is evil. You going to the beach and coming home and having free tax fee cash waiting for you is good though. AAHHHH, there's that hypocrisy again. And I don't care what you outside this coin mining business, I was working 80 hour weeks in banking but I'd still consider this crypto-craze and the mania that's coming the biggest easiest way to Profit in maybe all history. But my vision, if its right, and the fact I risked thousands on ASICS gear while providing American jobs at BFL, and improving the bitcoin network by a full 1TH, and using those coins to provide further income to programmers via bounties just in the hopes that I may be right, on a hunch, and maybe then, eventually I'll make some money as well, well, in your eyes, you're a righteous hard worker and I'm a greedy pig who does nothing and wants to get rich overnight (3 years of overnights). Well, truth is, I am working harder than your mining while sleeping, providing more services (3 exact clones have copied my coin already, Bitcointalk.org is making a pretty penny off the the fastest growing thread, I have paid numerous bounties and have many more out, providing 1TH to Bitcoin's network, paying lots of money for American Labor at BFL for the 1TH I bought, etc). But hey, you give advice and you haven't made money yet cause you're waiting for your mining computers to be paid off so they'll be FREE, so then you can make 100% pure free profits, like all hard working idealists, while doing absolutely nothing, like all hard workers, and if you get lucky and mine the right coin you may make millions but you're not a dishonest pig like me, no, you're gonna give away all that money and the mining equipment too and get a real job mining in a coal mine, cause you're an idealist. I bet anything you're a Christian, and that would be a sad thing. Idealists, like you used to be called something else: Pharisees.Enjoy your free money, I know I will if/when I start making it. Good night.

U.S. Govt is not a world government and Bitcoin is not the U.S. currency. And to outlaw Bitcoin worldwide we really need nothing less than ZOG One more thing about ZOG and the US not being a world government. I'm actually not missing anything. I took a full year of political science in college not cause I needed it, simply cause I wanted a full picture when it came to economics. Just trust me that it's you missing it all. Many countries right now, including the mighty china are working on a plan for a global currency and the easiest way to logistically distribute and control such a huge change is via a digital currency. And no, the US alone with a Simple Directive Order would take over and do whatever it wants with bitcoin. You act as if bitcoin is owned by Russia or backed by something besides a few thousands geeks with weak programming skils. If bitcoin want made by the state it would be dead by now. Another thing you're missing and not me, no country can have a successful currency with a thousand other currencies undermining its own dollar. But you'd have to stop talking to bears and take some poly-sci classes and some economics classes to start getting the picture. Or here's an idea, I listen to any programmer here cause I know they know more than me, maybe you should like, you know, listen to educated people with experience when they know a lot more than you about a subject matter. Good night for real this time. Good luck to you.

Probably because no one gives a damn for it. If I had a mining rig, I would not want to stop it only to kill some scamcoin which is already absolutely worthless. You idealist you. Do you think you'll pay them off and start seeing profits in 3 years?
Well, no, I am not going to see real profits with my mining equipment. I work for profit and mine for fun. And there are of course people who mine for profit, but with Bitcoin those are large scale miners who invest lots of money and their hashing really makes the network the most secure and increases reliability of Bitcoin, so I cannot see how their efforts must be labelled dishonest. If someone starts a new coin, premines or instamines millions and later dumps it on an exchange, that is dishonest, because it does not benefit anyone. If one helps to secure the network giving others the opportunity to enjoy all the benefits of a secure cryptocurrency network, it is honest work in my view. You spend 16 times a day what, whining on BitcoinTalk? That does not seem like hard work to me. Did you learn the basic principles of how cryptocurrency works? No. Did you analyse all existing cryptocurrencies and introduced a new concept that would benefit all the adopters? No. What exactly do you do to make your new coin widely adopted by businesses so it gains value as an established payment method? Nothing. So please quit that “16 hours” bullshit. And I don't care what you outside this coin mining business, I was working 80 hour weeks in banking but I'd still consider this crypto-craze and the mania that's coming the biggest easiest way to Profit in maybe all history.
In other words, what you are saying is: “And I don’t care about legit ways to earn money through actual labour, I want to profit in an easiest way like a jerk”. That is exactly what I call dishonest. By the way I agree that risking your funds with ASIC investment is legit and honest. If you were just a little bit more farsighted, instead of virtual BFL terahash you would have maybe several tens or a hundred of gigahashes from companies that do ship ASICs and honestly earn some decent money helping to secure the Bitcoin network. That is quite different from a 3-year scamcoin Ponzi scheme that you tried to start after BFL failed to ship. Good night, Vlad. Bears are waiting for me.

They tend to rush the presenter out right afterwards so the next presentation can happen without them watching. I think I've even met or seen someone talk who talked about giving a presentation to the CIA, but I can't place the memory right now. Maybe it was some DEFCON presenter. I do think Bitcoin needs work on the privacy side, and that lack of privacy may get a bit more attention from some actors, but to claim that means the network isn't decentralized is foolish.

Bitcoin, and its hashpower, have been hoarded beyond repair thanks to their well executed plan which has hijacked this revolution. If the highest levels of power were not involved, asics would not have been given the go ahead and the technology would have been supressed.
@jackjack They don't need to. The world is already well aware of all the corruption, war and genocide, the freedom luvin US has brought to their lands.

ASICs required the go-ahead to be developed? There are Chinese companies making ASICs. Do you really think they asked the CIA for permission?

TMSC is basically a monopoly and Chinese companies make everything anyways. lol.. Did you forget how Sony needed Japanese (in other words US) military approval for the laser(s) used in the PS2/3 ? And you're such an idealist - you're here mining free money, ahahhahahaaa, is that the honest hard work you're referring to, you honest hard worker you? Cause plugging in your computer and going to bed and waking up richer overnight for doing ZERO Work and then not even paying a single cent in taxes on that free easy money you did nothing to earn earn out of the thin air you claim to be so against, is exactly the opposite of the phony idealist you're portraying yourself to be.
Explain what mining does or what its purpose is. Show us that your "16 hours per day" is worth something. One more thing about ZOG and the US not being a world government.
No, it's owned by no one. It goes beyond any individual country. That's what makes it revolutionary. Explain how a "simple" directive order would take over Bitcoin. You already said that a hard fork would make a government takeover imminent, which shows how little you know about cryptocurrencies. I would say this is a poor use of your daily 16 hours.
How could political science teach you about cryptocurrencies and how government could eliminate them? This is untreaded ground. There is nothing like this, and we have yet to see what will happen. Do you understand that an intangible good like Bitcoin is magnitudes more difficult to regulate? Gold is much easier to regulate because people would hold them in banks because it is so unwieldy and in general are much easier to confiscate because of how difficult it is to transport. This is a whole new ballgame, one that the old farts in government know nothing of. I'm pretty sure it was the PS2. They must also be the reason why I haven't found a super block... yet. HT xD
