Yes - unless I'm missing something this could really take off over the next couple of weeks with the new casino being released.

Thinking of making a buy, but still doing my research...

I agree, a mailing list with limited spots could work. Obv you all in this thread would have immediate access.
Ended up going the route of having each game created specifically for casinocoincity which means everything is unique and will have never been seen before!
The graphics etc of course we aren't creating whole new casino games Grin

This also gives us the chance to difference ourselves from the other casinos that will quickly pop up and have generic software used.
The down sides.. Games will be released at a much slower rate, Beta testing is NEEDED.
For the poker aspect of the website we still have not decided what to do, as having a poker room developed could cost thousands, and we have already spent quite a hefty amount for the first few games being developed right now. (help is always needed)
Slots, Roulette, Blackjack, Craps, Dice, Lotteries will all be unique and a rewards system will eventually be added.

I'm really excited to hear that the games are all unique and not generic. No plans for baccarat? =)

It would be good to have a chat facility within each table. (so I can chat to my friend while playing on the same table)
I would also love a mobile version of the website or a mobile app down the road so I can play on the go. But one thing at a time... =)

BTW, did you say people can play with BTC directly without needing to convert to CSC?
Wouldn't that just make it a BTC casino? Why would people want to play with CSC if so?

If that is the case, maybe it would be good to provide incentive to play with CSC such as:
1. Extra bonus points/credits when playing with CSC
2. Conversion bonus if converting BTC to CSC (e.g. 1%)
3. No fees when withdrawing as CSC. (For BTC 1%)

Something like this would ensure that CSC gets used both inside & outside of the casino.

I really like your idea of the incentive for people to use CSC. In the end what we want is people to play casino games with Casinocoin no Bitcoin

I like the idea of giving people loyalty and other special bonuses in CSC regardless of what they're using. This gives people a balance in CSC so they get some familiarity with it. Some of those people will be more likely to use it in the futures, others will be more likely to blow it immediately in the casino. Either way I think it's good for everybody.

Hope you all had a great XMas! I was hit with the flu bug this past week, and although that was no fun, I was excited to log in to the forum and see all the activity and discussion surrounding CasinoCoin while I was away! For all of you that don't know already, I have designated @casinocoin as the CasinoCoin community manager. He's already spearheaded setting up the CasinoCoin v2 forum at http://forums.casinocoin.org, and has done a great job leading up discussions within this thread.

One of my short term goals was to put up a Chinese translated version of the CasinoCoin home page up, and with the help of the CSC community, the translated text is complete and will be posted up in the next day or two. Thanks @human for the help!

I view CasinoCoin as a slow and steady build up. With a coin that has intentions of being used for online casino gaming, security and stability are of the upmost importance. There has been and will continue to be growing pains, but we will work through the kinks. This also applies to the mining pools and community since mining is a critical pillar in the success of CSC. @ajochems said it best -- the chain is as strong as the weakest link. If we work together and stand united, we can make this a success.

Lastly, for anyone having issues connecting your wallet to the CasinoCoin network, try adding these additional nodes to your casinocoin.conf file:

Code:
addnode=77.48.255.131:47950
addnode=77.249.199.235:47950
addnode=107.22.231.234:47950
addnode=27.33.117.153:47950
addnode=54.225.110.95:47950
addnode=76.9.168.125:47950
addnode=77.48.255.131:47950
addnode=162.220.246.58:47950
addnode=62.141.200.4:47950
addnode=96.2.111.139:47950
addnode=216.177.81.87:47950

P.S. I believe I'm caught up with my backlog of private messages -- if I missed yours, send me a message and I will get back to you.

Yes, this helps a lot!!!  Now with the other nodes in my post before up to 8 connections!!!! This was a weak link in the chain. Not anymore.

So I suggest: communicate this and put it on the main website to add nodes and howto or update downloading the wallet with good nodes the first time, so newbies can connect right away.

Keep up the good work, there is a lot of progress in communication.

CasinoCoinCity will do it!!

Nice! Does anyone know whether work on an escrow-like service has advanced yet?
Furthermore, I've already worked on back-ends for casino like games such as poker (currently only supporting Texas Hold 'em, both heads-up and ring), but transferring funds appears to be a hassle.

I use v.1.0.0.4. You can download it here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByThapD6TgxrSkowVHRpR3RLSE0/edit?pli=1

Make an additional file called casinocoin.conf and put in the lines below. In my casinocoin.conf I have these nodes and have 4-8 connections now with this wallet.  Place the casinocoin.conf in C:\Documents and Settings\......\Application Data\CasinoCoin:

Everyone else I have taken your ideas into account and have a list of beta testers ready! You will all be messaged soon with details on what exactly to do and how to help.
Thanks everyone im in a rush or I would respond to posts and make this longer, be back Sunday heading to the casino for two nights!
Cheers,
CasinoCoin

I think you should only enable CSC betting, kinda like when you go to a casino you exchange cash for chips, csc being your chips. You then exchange you're CSC for btc on your way out of the casino. I'm sure this method would also be appealing to many other bitcoin casinos, as the owners of teh casino can get a cut for exchanging all coins back to btc.
I'd also be interested in beta testing Smiley
