Let me know what you think about this mockup for the homepage!

Hello

I would like to present a Casinocoin Card I made a couple of hours ago. Its simple but with a very fancy and stylish look. I would use this for the game I am developing exclusive for CSC but if you want the Casinocoin Card for a card game or something you can pm me and I will send you the .ai or .psd. I am open to suggestions so let me know what you think.

Thanks

http://s27.postimg.org/qtgcgn73n/Casino_card.jpg

Used your Cards as a little filler for now! Can provide the psd and png if you want Smiley

Sure I will pm you the .psd file as soon as I get home.

@casinocoin
As you already know i am currently working on a mobile CSC wallet. I also started working on a mobile CSC Blackjack game but both take some time as i do this in my spare time. The blackjack game will need the mobile CSC wallet, so i will first terminate the wallet and then continue with the game.

I do not have the intention to put the game in the market myself as i am not sure about all legal issues surrounding that. For now it seems there is no need for a official casino license as that is only required for casinos that use real money but anyway, i am a developer and do not have the intentions to run a casino. I would like to profit of a casino game i build on a regular basis though and not only with a one time payment so if a percentage of the profits would be negotiable i would be interested. Any way, as already said it would take some time and i will contact you when i have something finished to show you.

This post really got me thinking - is the way to differentiate Casinocoin to develop a quality lineup of mobile games that can only be played with CSC?  A lot of coins have multiple gaming sites built around them, but I have yet to see anything significant related to mobile gaming apps.  This could be a good direction to focus a lot of attention on.  But maybe there's a reason why it's not happening?  I'm assuming it would be difficult to get these types of apps listed in app stores.  You'd probably have to have the user download them directly - which is fine.  You'd just have to ensure to not collect ANY data from the user to ensure decent anonymity.

I really like the idea of mobile Casinocoin games!
I think that android will not be a problem but iPhone may very well be. Most crypto apps that included any trading from or to real currency have been removed from the apple store. Maybe a CSC only casino game will survive the apple approval team but we will only know for sure after we tried. That is why i focus on Antroid first. Anyway, .. i develop with phonegap/jQuery so anything i create for Android will already be 90% finished for iOS, Windows Phone and Blackberry.

Privacy is no issue as for a casino game we can suffice with generating a wallet address per game session, all other user information is not necessary so playing can be totally anonymous.

A CSC accepted here logo is always good to have it when it's needed.

I think that instead of, or in addition to this type of graphic, the graphic that needs to be created is something along the lines of "Casinocoin Casino" or "Casinocoin Only" or "Bet Casinocoin!" or "Play With Casinocoin".  "Casinocoin Accepted Here" is good, but we should probably stick with the gambling theme to really stay on a laser focused mission.

I have a good team of designers, so I can pay to have one or more of these created within the next couple of days.  My designers give me several options, so I'll post some of the better ones here to see how people think we should move forward.  I'm thinking a logo type graphic, a banner, and a badge.

We probably also need a Casinocoin icon/ symbol - what is the official symbol for CSC?  Do we have one?

I'll spend my own money, but donations are welcome.  I'll add my wallet address to my sig this evening.

After thinking this through, I was able to mock up specifically what I want created, so I sent detailed instructions to one of my guys.  I will post the results when I get the designs back in 2-3 days for anyone to use freely.  I'll also try to post the .psd's if anyone wants to modify them.

I wouldn't worry about it, the volume is extremely low, so the price is going to fluctuate like crazy.  Today's drop was probably people in this thread dumping because of the casino delay.  I mean, when Casinocoin showed up and Transcoder came back, the price spiked 800% in a day

Good news is - price goes down, so does difficulty because it falls off the radar, so mine away and hope that the community rallies to provide enough support to turn this one into a contender.

One potential move i see is, get Dogecoin's marketing expertise by offering them a deal where it is accepted at Casinocoin city aswell. Let's not kid ourselves its a popular meme coin but it has had amazing marketing by people that seem to know what they are doing. I've seen that community explode in a months time faster than 90% of Cryptos out there. Same could happen for Casinocoin with the right promotion.

New exchange is opening up soon. Maybe this week.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395192.0

I wonder if we can somehow get them to add CSC from day 1 or on their 2nd phase?
I personally think Transcoder needs to talk to the exchange owner to be more effective.,,,

@hash.so - Done! http://explorer.casinoco.in will be live once DNS propagates -- thanks for hosting the CasinoCoin block explorer!
Forgot to follow this thread when I changed my username.. so delayed but done.

Block explorer will now live in: http://explorer.casinoco.in

Needs some CasinoCoin logos and such, I'll try to get around to it "soon" Smiley Or if someone wants to add graphics and whatnot to it, I'm happy to do the Abe integration.

Hash.so mining pools with easy coin switching! vardiff, pplns, and 0% fee (1% default donation). Come join us! Smiley
Currently we have 40 scrypt coins and adding new ones all the time.

v1 of the CasinoCoin API is now online. Developers can pull the current CSC:BTC ratio rate as well as the value of 1 CSC in various currencies with the following API call to:

Code:

The result is in JSON format -- here is an example of what the result set is:

How this works is the code I've written checks Cryptsy for the latest CSC:BTC ratio. It then calls Mt. Gox for the latest BTC USD value and calculates the CSC USD value accordingly. Finally, it pulls up from the Yahoo Finanace API a list of USD exchange rates of various currencies and calculates the value of CSC for those currencies.

One thing I've noticed is that on occasion, calls to the Crypsty API to pull the latest CSC:BTC ratio fails, which results in a value of 0.00 for the CSC:BTC ratio, which then messes up the calculation of CSC in various currencies. I will need to update the code to handle these situations when the call to the Cryptsy API fails. I will also need to implement some form of caching to speed things up.

I'll be releasing the PHP code on GitHub for this shortly in case any developers wanted to integrate this functionality locally into their app. Otherwise, feel free to call the API in your apps.

I will be creating some documentation for the CasinoCoin API, and will integrate the functionality of it into the CasinoCoin homepage so that the current rates are displayed on the header of each page.

I'll be online this evening to answer any questions.

Anyone a comment on a thought about the logo? See: http://afbeelding.im/GJr for example. Maybe there needs only a little black in C-shape in the first capital so you can see it is a "C" belonging to the rest. And the white changed in grey as the rest of the logotext later on.

I find the current logo good though. Just textassociation is a bit better maybe with "casinocoin" in the example above. No "sinocoin"  misinterpretation what was mentioned in this thread a week ago.  I see there are designers here in the house, so I let it to them what is best. The logo now is attractive also, so maybe no change at all is needed.

Just for a brainstorm I put it there Grin

I find the current logo ok, only thing is the right interpretation of the logotext by some. But I think most people will associatie it with casino. So maybe we let the logo as it is. We are used to it already. We will see, there are connections with designers here in the house, so who knows.
