I think the main problem now is that we are mining ltc on eu server that is not the most profitable coin now and thats why our profits decreased dramatically.

Main problem for me is that we're getting considerably less LTC than we should, at least yesterday not sure yet about today. I'd move instead of whining but I'm away from my rigs for 2 weeks.

I had the same problem; h2o explained that was because he wasn´t recording ltc blocks after eu server changed to mine LTC. After that period we experienced an increase in "unexechanged" etc due to those blocks, so everything went back to normal. I think the main problem now is that we are mining ltc on eu server that is not the most profitable coin now and thats why our profits decreased dramatically.
Ok that make sense, since my rigs were all pointed to EU servers.
Although if I were mining LTC straight, I would expect to get ~2x of yesterday payout from MC (i.e. ~8.5Mhs accepted / 3.2 * 0.029 = 0.077 BTC vs actual 0.038 BTC)

I also had a deadspot on EU. Went from 0.027BTC, to not even getting a payout (less than 0.01) today. But US is going at fast pace it seems, so thats nice...

This is weird because my dad experienced the same problem the other day except the other way around.
I advised him to switch to the US server as his ping is less than 150ms but for the whole day nothing changed. As soon as he switched back to the EU server, it started going again.

http://middlecoin2.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/reports/17JRNuH7nVVwGQy5xuPRfhkse6iiLGNy75.html

(the flat spot on Sat Jan 04 is when he switched to US server)

Edit: The more I think about this, the more I think he must be mistaken... Too much of a coincidence, he must have also been on the EU server.

Why wouldn't you run VNC or Remote Desktop on your rigs in case you have to control them while away?

Yeah I haven't gotten around to it yet, it's a bit tricky with the dynamic IP and I don't have direct access to the router for port forwarding either, it's a long story but I'm waiting for better internet to become available very soon.

According to previous posts, on Monday eu server will be cloned with us settings. Hopefully this include coin switching or mining something more profitable...

Checkout TeamViewer, works great with a dynamic IP (don't need to set up anything on your router).

Looking forward to that EU rollout. With ~200ms ping to US I'm getting 5-6% rejects. EU is at 60ms and just below 3%.

Anyone seeing a period of mining "nothing" yesterday on their middlecoin graph? It looks like for a quarter of day, there was no growth in balances/immatures/unexchanges.

this is just a display issue
Wouldn't that happen to all accounts? And it doesn't, some has flat and some doesn't.
Examples from the top:
No flat : http://middlecoin2.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/reports/1QABREeywTMZEGCwRocBdPn37WddpxDAhC.html
With flat : http://middlecoin2.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/reports/1DziP6pJTLNyV8xYTNXoD5VcQgU8vSXtks.html

If I remeber right then the eu is/was mining LTC and there was a display issues only with the ltcs

I've just noticed my ping to the EU server is jumping between 50ms up to 1000ms causing a lot of stales too about 15% which wasnt the case 1 week ago, i had less than 2% of stales...did something changed or maybe because of some user overload?

If you use chrome as your browser the extension "chrome remote desktop" is easy no need to bother with ports and ip's it just works.

Not happening at my location. Constant ~60ms ping with 1-2ms stddev.

Also I noticed that US server is back down on hashrates. I have a 5.7Mh rig fresh on US after the rollout. Started at 5.6 reported hash, now it's at 5.1

Anyone else feeling this?

I want to test this pool with a small GPU. Does ist pay out when I reach 0.001 or 0.01btc? In the start post it says 0.01, and here in the FAQ 0.001 http://middlecoin2.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/faq.html

thanks

From website:

Payouts are automatic, and occur once a day, if your balance is greater than 0.01 BTC or if you haven't been paid out in 7 days and your balance is greater than 0.001 BTC.

Whatever way I look at it, I've doubled my hash rate over the last week but getting 3 x less pay-out.

This pool is a great idea and saves me lots of hassle but they are not doing it for free so I do expect
a fair pay-out to my mining resources.

Hick-ups and problems I understand but if the results don't add up after a few weeks then questions need to be
asked.
