Oh right, that's really what we need, more people making promises and raising expectations too early.

Wait another 3 hours before tou start to party.

The people who make money on the stock market are the ones who evaluate information the fastest Smiley

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

ROFL @ whoever is buying Ytterbium's pump attempts.

Labcoin's statistics are visible at http://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=rankings&section=teams where their hashrate hasnt increased in 3 days. Some pumper (probably Ytterbium himself) is using his or her accounts at other mining sites and redirecting funds to labcoin's wallet. Labcoin does not have "hidden accounts", it has one account which is visible at the above link.

Here's an updated table, with 4 period sliding windows:

UTC             Payment       Gh/s estimate

9/23/2013  8:07   0.1         553.6089029
9/23/2013  9:07   0.1         553.6473506
9/23/2013 10:07   0.1         553.5704605
9/23/2013 11:07   0.1         596.3636364
9/23/2013 12:07   0.1         553.6473506
9/23/2013 12:47   0.12248177  638.6066053
9/23/2013 13:07   0.1         779.487881
9/23/2013 14:07   0.1         779.5600491
9/23/2013 15:07   0.15        871.9003811
9/23/2013 15:47   0.15263979  927.5528756
9/23/2013 16:17   0.29072199  1214.078822
9/23/2013 17:07   0.15        1372.026411

So you're saying...

...they increased their hashrate as promised?

Actually my calculations would show a ~722 GH/s averaging yesterday and today. Averaging just today, it's ~748 GH/s. So not very promising.

Well, your calculations suck then Grin

I certainly wish I had 400Gh/s Grin

And the payments are not from other sites, they're from BTCGuild.  They're all paid at the 7, 17 or 47 minute mark, and I'm sure they all trace back to BTCGuild's 14cZMQk89mRYQkDEj8Rn25AnGoBi5H6uer  address.

Who cares if they are from BTCguild? What does labcoin stand to gain from having multiple hashing accounts on BTCguild instead of on their publicly visible one? This line of logic is plainly absurd.

No, actually they don't Wink I explicitly said this was a daily (and a 2 day) average. If tomorrow's average is better, I would be glad Smiley

EDIT: I'm only interested in sustained hash power. Certainly calculation based on every payment's timing is not the way to go here.

even if they are from BTCGuild, you don't know they are from Labcoin.
and IF they are from Labcoin, you don't know that they represent revenue on current mining

+1
Until you have BTCGuild confirming a higher hash rate or an average over a larger time frame, you can't assume that their hash rate has increased.

Nope, we don't know.  And sure, they could very well be from a desperate pumper with 400Gh/s in his or her garage. People thought that it might be the case early on when payments started coming to this address, or that it might be the 3 old Avalons that one of the labcoin team members had.  That turned out not to be the case.

Anyway, those are the numbers.

For what concerns the hashrate, as soon as we reach stability with another batch, we will merge it on btcguild

Quoting for reference..

Obviusly some of you can not read statements.
Another batch is mining but it is still not stable so it's not merged yet with team "labcoin" on btcguild, hence the bigger payouts.

Silly pump attempts by Ytterbium. Back to ignore list.

The hashrate provided by the pool is the most precise indicator we can have. Payments can be highly affected by variance, and influenced by a troll mining to this address.

It's great that Labcoin is starting to do things right, no need to fake stuff - it will come to bite you.

There are still some puts available if anyone thinks the price will drop below 0.00073750 in the next 4 days. It's not one of those absurdly priced ones either, the premium is 0.00026250 vs. a 0.001 strike price.

You think LC is doomed but you don't think the price will drop even with the exchange closing in two weeks?  SRSLY?

Yeah.  Mining on another account, outside of the labcoin team, while they work on stability is consistent with their statement.

oh, we can read, but we don't believe anything they say, cause you know, they said they were mining with 2 TH/s 2 weeks ago and that they would have 4 TH/s online by now, which is obviously not the case.
