Hey guys is there a problem with the site of Polyswarm ? If i try to open the site it will load very long, and the counter is empty. Maybe it is from my internet again lol.

Not having issues myself at the moment so maybe it’s just your routing or provider I have had issues in the past but I imagine it’s just growing pains from the platform getting it’s name out their more and more I imagine they will need to scale up their hosting as the platform grows so either issue on their side with the growth at times or maybe just some irregularities in your internet but seems to be working ok today

I am curious how you got that going for you; I mean one antivirus is a headache enough; especially when having to deal with the firewall and the likes. I am curious you don't get any locking situations when scanning? am sure they hit the same files at the same time.

Yea it takes hell of time... Like I literally goto bed when I start scanning, avast and 360 really takes my time but it's worth it in the end... I just need the protection I don't mind the time cost or the power usage, I just want security since ransomeware attacked my system and lock down all my files sometimes ago, I still live with that pain, I am counting on polyswarm to be that shiny light such that I don't need installing more anti-viruses to get protection

I don't know if they affect each other negatively but I would also say that one at a time is enough  Who knows, maybe Polyswarm can replace them completely so that we won't need even one in the near future.

Keep in mind that all antivirus providers (big players) have the "closed" systems; so you can't really know what the system is doing in your computer; you just trust it is not doing anything suspicious. Now you are shifting your trust to those experts in the field.

Lots companies are making antivirus but sometimes that's also not fully protecting to your system. As polyswarm is really doing something different.

yes, maybe they can replace them, but i am curious how it will work with internet-downloads. my Internet traffic would have to run over the polyswarm server, so they can monitor it. do you mean that this is planned like this?

PolySwarm is a combination of different experts more like saying combination of more than one anti-virus at a go, if project is successfully integrated,  built and tested with quality reviews showing customer satisfaction then there is no need having a lot of anti-virus in the system...

That's the same thing I asked yesterday. Counter is not moving too much or its stuck somewhere. Even progress bar not moving. Is the problem with site or something else not sure. But site is working properly for me also.

That's the same thing I asked yesterday. Counter is not moving too much or its stuck somewhere. Even progress bar not moving. Is the problem with site or something else not sure. But site is working properly for me also.

let's hope the bar has broken as I've been monitoring it for the last couple of days and hasn't had much movement.

Will be good for the PolySwarm team to keep pushing on there marketing, twitter/facebook/medium/reddit etc to help with the sales

Personally I don't think the services of Polyswarm would be used by end-consumers very often, I think this is a better match between experts and companies.
A good scenario where polyswarm good do well in is I think when impact sensitive organisations are troubled with ransomware, such as air traffic control tower or water purifying installations
