That's a difficult thing. For a long time I also wanted to try to quit smoking, but it was difficult and not easy. Ever switched to using VAPE but only briefly and returned to smoking

Let's take the scenario that you usually have your first cigarette almost immediately after waking up in the morning. Then go on to smoke say 25 to 30 cigarettes over the course of the day. This makes you pretty highly nicotine dependent and will need strong measures.

Take support from others. Having someone else support and encourage you is invaluable, especially in the early stages. Plus, you will subconciously not want to fail in front of all these people. A powerful tool.

Most important - decide and set it for yourself…
And that is most difficult part.
Once above is done, the rest goes as smooth as glider in upward stream.

Do some simple relaxation exercises. Controlled breathing is good. Sit in a comfortable upright chair, feet on the floor. Do not cross your legs. Place your hands on your knees, and breath slowly and regularly in and out. You can close your eyes if it helps you, although this is not a must. Concentrate on each breath, breath from your stomach, letting it relax and swell out when taking air in, and pushing it out when exhaling.

Quitting smoking is one of the best decision in your life.  We all know that substance of the cigarettes itself are not safe.  This will affect your whole body system that leads to different diseases.  Slowly, smoking will kill you.  Some people think that they are enjoying doing this and cant take it away because that didn't see its harmful effects.  But why wait to have lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, mouth cancer etc.  Why not effort to stop before its too late. Quit smoking now!

Get rid of everything to do with smoking in the house, ashtrays, matches, lighters. Cigarettes of course, and maybe a little spring clean to rid the house of any lingering stale smoke smells

Here's a good tip. In the early days when you feel tempted, or maybe someone offers you a cigarette, DO NOT say "No thanks, I quit". Say instead "No thanks, I don't smoke". Welcome to the world of the non-smoker.

Just remember, take it from day to day. Before you know where you are it's a year down the line and you feel great.

Quitting smoking needs willpower specifically once your frame is used to having day by day dose of nicotine. You commenced smoking for pressure reliever to such point that it has end up an addiction, this is why so that it will stop, you need to will it. One component on the way to inspire you to give up smoking is valuing your existence, it really is how I give up smoking.

was a smoker for 12 years, smoking been eating through my soul. It almost destroyed my career, relationship, sports hobby.
With everything on the edge, even though it was hard for me to quit, it needed to be done.
I began to find something else to keep my mouth occupied whenever I craved for a fag. Everything from candy, my thumb to my pens.
After 3 years now I can finally say that I'm done with cigarettes. However, now I love eating my fingers and pens. I completely ate 2 of my pinkies and more than 100 pencils.
I can clearly say that quitting cigarettes was one of the best decision I've ever made cuz my fingers licking good!

I smoked for 15 years and had no intention of quitting and some guy said to read, "Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking." Found it online with absolutely no faith that it would work. When he says in the book that you can continue smoking while you read, I gave it a shot. It's been 308 days and I can't imagine ever smoking again.

What smoking does once it arrives in the brain is responsible for both the good feelings you get from smoking as well as the irritability you feel if you try to quit.

Forget about cutting down, nicotine alternatives and other bullshit.

Read "the easy way to stop smoking" by Allen Carr. Worked for me.

If quitting is hard, you're doing it wrong.

Where I can found this book online? I read many comments mentioning this book  it's actually works. I'm smoking almost ten years and every time when I try quit something goes wrong Cheesy

My brother is a heavy smoker, has tried hard to stop smoking. From reducing the intake of cigarettes per day to taking vitamins but again back to the cigarette finally. I think a heavy smoker will really stop if he has had a heart and lung attack that is not allowed by doctors to do it at all.
