This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

Well, this is a very big loss, if you look at the part of real money, you could donate to another, then spend what is really hard or yourself or maybe other people, and this is not enough.

That's a total disaster because he can't recover his wallet's .dat file. The value is huge for now, but in 2011 the value is still small, in my opinion there is no way to improve, to avoid such things, must backup important data.

true make atleast a way on how to get it back 103 bitcoins are not just a simple coin to be lost this is some of the great pleasure that you have been to earn it and being rich for when you have this amount of bitcoin.

That's a bad news because we knows that the bitcoin price is very high and that's means that you will get profits on it just because you've lost your 103 bitcoins. If i will the one who've been faced and experienced that situation i don't really know what i might to do. You do a big mistakes and it is a lesson to learn from your mistaken even it's sad then you need to accept it.

Many who have long been in the subject of bitcoin are the same problems. Once I mined SIA coins 200 thousand at the start of the coin, then the coin for a long time could not go to the exchange and I needed to reinstall windows, I thought that SIA is not worth it to bother with the preservation of the wallet.dat and I lost it. Who is this guy? 103.20832384 BTC is very a huge amount already and he already has a good amount of bitcoin if he will recover his wallet from this year, maybe he can consult with a professional to recover his wallet. What is the reason behind why he lost his wallet.dat? Any idea? I think there is also a reason behind it why he just lost his wallet.dat, no one could ever be wanted to lose their wallet.dat with a 103 btc inside it.

Sorry for your lost but It couldn't get it back because you do a several moves that may lost your wallet that containing 103 bitcoins for me that's disappointing because I've lost that big amount of money if that might happen to me but I can suggest to you is mined again then earn more bitcoin that you'll earn before.

God, 103 bitcoins are a huge amount of money. bitcoin may not worth in 20111 , but now 103 bitcoins are so valuable. I think this is very unfortunate.But the probability of this happening now is not high, because everyone already has knowledge of crypto.

this is really sad for him but on that time btc value was so low and no one hoped to see btc in current position but definately its painful for him .i would kill myself bcz 103 btc is enough for removing misery from my whole family .i know he is feeling sad .wish you would recover.

I'm sorry for this guy because he lost so much and obviously he's not happy. With this amount of bitcoins a little later it was possible to make a very big profit. But alas she didn't.

well i think he is really sad to lose his wallet which 103 btc inside the wallet and I think many of us will do the same. I see many people lost their wallet in many news including in this forum and For me it is painful to lose 103 bitcoin. It tells us how much care we have to keep in the online business. And we should also think about our future, that we are investing our money and how safe our money is invested

I know losing money is part of trading and investing but a 103 BTC lost? i just can't imagine what I'm gonna do if that happen to me. I mean that's so much for a lost, i hope he can recover the depression and recover what he had lost. whoo.

pity this guy lost BTC up to 103, was not only in the outside world, on the internet there is also a thief. This is the great lesson for everyone we need to backup every important detail because all of them are money.
But if you can't find your wallet file then your bitcoins will be lost forever.

This statement  will give lesson to us,that we must take care our wallet,o in order to  secure our capital of bitcoin or any kinds of crypto coins that are in proper storage so that when the times of necessity or those our bitcoin we need to change in fiat, then atleast we can used it,especially in times of emergency,supposedly as of now i never experience of this kind of situation in loosing my wallet address,because all i can do is to make many back up files of all my  wallet address in pc,usb,etc.and soon i want to buy a trezor edge wallet,for storage of all my files.

My god, I'll go crazy if this happened to me. However, this is a good lesson for others in the crypto world. Protect and secure your own data. And don't think any of this coin is worthless. Not even a single one.
