I wonder how many people who lost access or simply threw the computer in the trash, along with files and passwords, as at that time did not betray this value!??

I wonder how does He feels now, it is more than terrible to realize that you have lost such amount of money, and 103 bitcoins is not a little amount that we all can lose.

I've heard similar stories several times. At the beginning it often happened when out of curiosity people extracted the BTC with great ease. Then the wallets were lost.

Always a good lesson about a free market

1) This is your money, learn the technology and secure it

2) This is a free market, liars, shills, propaganda, scammers, hackers, thieves, yep monsters everywhere - be careful

Wow what a big lose, but fot me its ok atleast not my life that was lose, its just a money it only matters here in this world and perhaps its just temporary, maybe there is a great achievement for after your lose, who knows, and what if after losing you earn also more than what is lost.

It is a pity that the guy lost access, it is a pity for all who have such a problem. That's why bitcoin is so valuable. Of the 17 million coins issued into circulation, "probably" 14-15 million, if not less, are in circulation today. I have seen many similar posts on this forum that many people have lost their keys. I believe that it is the lack of bitcoins that causes such a high bitcoin price. And it's good that the price is growing from year to year.

103 Bitcoins now seems nothing compared to a few Bitcoins I lost in the order of 'under' tens because I lost my access key. It must really suck for the guy, I'd go mental

One of the most common and annoying mistakes made by the owners of purses is to intentionally or accidentally lose the carrier on which this wallet was kept. The most famous cases refer to the early stage of the existence of the digital currency, when bitcoin did not have a significant value.

That’s a really news. Actually bitcoin is so secure that only the person who adopt it is only the owner of it. So, there is a very few possibilities to get back his wallet and bitcoin back. And like this how many bitcoin is really stacked, none have any idea.

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

It is impossible to recover these coins, if you don't have the private key or the backup. But this is not the first such story that I am hearing... Check this guy's story... it is much worse...

I think about how he does in peace nowadays. It's extremely pitiful to see that the cash you worked for, has turned out to be virtual to the point that you can't access it. Attempt to discover the record - someplace, some organizer, some document, a portion of your parcel workstation. it must be someplace. I would propose to continue attempting and not surrender.

Path back those years bitcoin isn't esteemed much at that point so it's alright for him not to recoup that as nobody expecting that bitcoin will be on this stage. Furthermore, it resembles the most mainstream issue before of those mineworkers that has mined a great deal of bitcoin, they need to store it without a doubt yet unfortunately as they search for some security to their bitcoins, they are wiping out their stockpiling after support it up and tragically, they aren't ready to make one move down for it.

Wow, he has actually 103 Bitcoin in his wallet. He must be really disappointed with losing his wallet.dat. I wish he gets it soon as possible back but that is nearly impossible.

I would kill myself if that happens to me, haha, just a joke, but no one can really be happy if he/she lost more than a one million dollars! I mean, i would not even know how i could react.

That is why the hardware wallets have ever existed, and i remember that i started mining on 2013 and i did not even stored my bitcoins on my pc, everything was on my paper wallet and i switched to hardware lately on 2015.

suicide will not make your Bitcoin back.
if it happens to me, I'll forget it, because if you think about it we can go crazy. so ikhlas is the best choice.  Smiley Wink

Hi! It's bad circumstance but rather the "incidental award" is that he get it with low cost in 2011! Such circumstance could be a calamity for him on the off chance that he lost it when cost was 20.000$ of every 2017. No need be vexed. What a pity that if individual lost key that implies than he lost all! Intriguing by what method can be moderated issue with "apparition wallet"?

He must be really disappointed and surely it makes him traumatized. Everyone must have experienced something like that. Make it an experience and do not give up just because of it. That's a lot of value and certainly will make that person a rich person. But he's really unfortunate to lose the dat file. Tell the person to continue to struggle and think about the future without having to think about it. Surely he will get his sustenance again

Yes, it is true, some people are experiencing that loss, they lost their keys, It will be better in they have some back up records and hard copy of their pass words or private keys to ensure its safety and in case of loss it can be retrieve, the lack of bitcoin or the supply for it is one of the reason why the price of bitcoin now are at risk of failing to the ground.

This is really bad losing the type of bitcoin, the true fate is people lose there bitcoin out of ignorance because back then bitcoin price was very low they take it for granted which is very very bad, always take any single thing in your life important, just pray he see a way forward and assistance to get his bitcoin back.
