I'm extremely sad for the person who lost his 103 huge coins. Actually, the Bitcoin supporters never felt that Bitcoin would get the cost. That which is everlastingly lost is never found back. So don't sit tight for the lost perpetually and push ahead.

Of course, it's annoying, but he could not imagine that Bitcoin would grow so much. In 2011, Bitcoin was not taken seriously, tk. can and now we are not serious about some kind of crypto currency, which will grow 10 to 100 times in any next year.

Lot of money if it sell in the highest price he could be millionaire at this time, a sad thing losing 103 bitcoins. He didn't carefully save his wallet.dat file. A mistake he did and lessons to be learned  for other bitcoin holders.

It defeats the purpose of securing your coins when you secure it from everyone including yourself. That's just sad, words are not enough to describe it.

There isn't anything that needs to be done when you lose wallet.dat because it's your digital wallet. If he is lucky maybe he can recover lost files, but the reality is not. Balance Bitcoin is still silent and does not move from 2012 until now.

in those days, bitcoin is not so appreciated, I could not even think that it will grow in price, and so do not bother so much as now, of course it's a shame that a person has lost passwords from his wallet

Wow, what a hard lesson to learn. At that time, bitcoins were not worth so many people who were careless with their wallets. I heard that some hard drives were accidentally thrown away or wiped cleaned with their coins.

Its really depressing situation. It really says something about the security that bitcoin has. Even with people all around to see your money they can't get to it. Although in this case, even the owner. So let's be careful guys!

It is very risky to store such large amounts on one bitcoin-address. In any case, such large amounts are better divided into several addresses and stored separately. Best - if u used a hardware wallet.

Losing 103 bitcoins is so sad, and unbelievabl. Why? becauase it's a 103 bitcoins, but i think this 103 bitcoin is in the year that bitcoin is not pumping too much. But if you have that 103 bitcoins now you will have a huge profit now. Maybe you will have another opportunity that will come.

Very hurtful story. I have heard several of these and have since duplicated all my keys and passwords in a special secret folder on my computer. I hope this never happens to me.

If he is lucky maybe he can recover lost files, but the reality is not.Be patient, because those who commit crimes will inevitably get into trouble in their lives, and you must learn what you have lost, to be more careful and learn.

I am sorry to hear it and I feel it when it happens to ourselves, maybe it can be crazy and can cry continuously, It tells us that we have to keep all the keys of our wallets in a safer place and commemorate so we are more vigilant and always be careful in following / doing anything related to bitcoin. so I am also sorry and thank you for reminding me.

it is true that many people lose their bitcoin because they lose their wallets, because they are not too concerned about their bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is still very cheap.
Exactly, If I remember right, I loss some NANO coins also in the past because I could not find the information anymore to access my wallet, I just become
interested on it when the price pump hard last January, and sadly until now I could still not find it.
But compared to the to what OP described, it's not really that big but a decent amount if I converted it at the highest price, anyway, let's just forget and learn from it, just be positive all the time and there will be more that will come.

It can be recovered if he only deletes his own files on his own device because nowadays there are now application or software that is specifically designed to recover deleted files .

Now if your wallet or private keys have been hacked , it is another story anymore . you cant recover hacked files from a hacker because they can easily close their accounts online or they will only use dummy and fake accounts in order to scam inoscent individuals .
