Help needed please.

OK guys getting really fed up with this coin now...

Just done a fresh Win 10 install, no AV (just windows defender), all drivers updated.
Have followed these instructions
     How to mine:
In order to mine on our pool you will need to first create a wallet. You can download our bundled miner + cli wallet from here.
Extract the archive exactly in c:\, it is absolutely necessary that the files are located in this directory as php has absolute paths.
Download and install the windows openssl binaries located here (x64 light version). After the installation it's necessary to reboot the computer!
The Windows version on your computer must be installed using the x64 architecture
Run the file Start-Wallet.bat, enter "balance" as the first command and follow the on-screen instructions. Copy your wallet address when printed.
Edit Auto-Miner.bat and replace CHANGE-ADDRESS with the address generated above.
Execute Auto-Miner.bat and it should start mining on our pool.
The miner uses by default 4 cores. If you'd like to mine with more cores, simply start the Auto-Miner.bat again.

I have a wallet with address.
I am running miner now for over 1 hour and have found several nonces, but i get this everytime
     Min DL: 100000
     --> Submitting nonce AXk0QxV453tlFxQsXyLcso9C1jfmMFqEsXN3afR3U / $bklCZEM3d2g3ZHB6ZXQ4RA$lHJXmqSJ6JXqF/uAcXbUGtyhuCl+CshLX10IPDTjiAk
--> The nonce did not confirm.

When i check the pool in 1 hour i have not had 1 accepted share...

This is the strangest coin / miner i have come across so far....
Can anyone please tell me what is going on?
Edit the new.BAT format like me because copying and pasting behind mine pool has two spaces.
@echo off
php.exe miner.php pool http://aropool.com  your address(The address is 2 spaces in front of the address)

so are you saying there should be just 1 space before the address like this
php.exe miner.php pool http://aropool.com 4zddHonwSUzk8EiwSEphPkA4KGv2gc3rRrc6Dpimw7G5F3ukExKb5gsei31bnPU48RxSj15KTHTWWXo VVWANBCve
There are two spaces behind the pool, and then your wallet address.     My wallet is set to such an address that I can receive a coin. You try it
php.exe miner.php pool http://aropool.com  4zddHonwSUzk8EiwSEphPkA4KGv2gc3rRrc6Dpimw7G5F3ukExKb5gsei31bnPU48RxSj15KTHTWWXo VVWANBCve

Hi thanks for the assist.
Tried the 2 spaces and still no joy, spoken to dev, not much help at all, just refered me to a 3rd party miner
https://github.com/ProgrammerDan/arionum-java/releases

Now the last time i tried the java miner there wasnt a .exe so i have tried this new version and it works great, and is much more informative...if you are on Win 10 thou you'll probably have to use iexplorer and make it your default browser, edge, chrome and Mozilla all hate java...

So mining again, but annoyed that the "proper" miner is basically useless

so if i have correctly checked, transaction free is 0.25%, which means if i transfer 10,000 ARO, i need to 25 ARO as fee?

Also, currently its CPU only coin, but what is the future plan, will it move to GPU/ASIC?
Is it an anonymous coin? If yes, how it compares to Monero or Zcash.

0.25% fee is correct. 10,000 ARO needs 25 ARO as fees.

This coin can be mined by gpu. However, using gpu is much worse than using cpu to mine it.

This is a "cpu only" coin, so I think it will not consider GPU/ASIC.

"CPU-only" means that we want many people to have ability to mine (profitable) the coin, which will help distribute coins better.

While have 0.25% fee has some advantage but also disadvantage of being higher for higher value transfers.

So What I propose here is, you can cap fee upto a max value. May be like 0.25% or 2 ARO(for example), whichever is less. In this pay, we will allow less fee for very higher value transactions.

I think that way it will be usable for lower and higher value transfers both

Hi dev,

I think there is a bug in the official pool.

I have already been paid 858 coins but the official pool shows "totally paid: 88.5".

Hope you can fix this little bug.

My address is 4gtaahm717NeW9JFGeThxzL3YNmof3976yXEsGjoA9anA18L87t7YfB5H42wqBNbCbUkZHe24sZUZcp WBrGfSP3v. You can check it.

BTW, is that possible to enter password under the "no showing on screen" mode? It is wired that someone can see my password on my screen.

Hi all,

I'm working on a GPU miner.
I have a POC running for a few hours at 600 H/s on a Nvidia Tesla K80 (on AWS).

Do you think this a good rate ?

Hi, that's not the mean of my question.

I use AWS because i didn't have a decent GPU on my laptop.
I want to know if this range of performance seems good for this GPU Smiley

This is very interesting project. Whitepaper is quite light though(only 2 pages).

I liked the fixed fee(0,25%).

About mining, I hope longer mining period, since 8 years and 4 months is rather short time to mine it. Is it only mineable with CPU's or GPU's as well?

Will be watching this closely and probably try to mine it with some CPU's.

Good luck!

I think it looks very good! This GPU has Kepler architecture, so on new pascal GPUs the same hashrate can be easely reached for 1080Ti at least. Do you have other GPUs for test?

This would happen if the miner has stopped mining for a while and then restarted, as the data is removed from the pool.
Regarding the password, there's no support for that in php. The best bet would be to move to the GUI once it's out of beta.

Are there plans to implement web mining?
There was web mining in the currency called crep, which is very good.
https://www.crepcoin.org/

I think that you can easily mining by implementing ARO.

No, we do not wish to implement web mining, as it would defeat the purpose of the coin.

Using AWS again, i have tested it against NVidia Tesla M60.
The hashrate is around 595 H/s.

No release date for now.
It's not sure that i have time to make a true release. For now the code is working but it's really a POC.
If any people with C/C++ development are interested and want to help me it can be good.

yes, 600H/s is about 10 times faster than an Intel i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz.

Closing in on stable java cpu miner that gets me 105H/s on Intel i7-7700k @ 3.6Ghz

@guli13 -- I'd love to manage your codebase. Been muddling through the C++ gpu ref implementation and its focus on benching / testing is obscuring actual use (my c/c++ is rusty). PM me or find me on Discord -- ProgrammerDan there too.
