When is windows GPU mining coming?

guli, the original creator of the GPU miner was working towards getting a Windows GPU miner out, however due to the hard fork and implementation of the algo, it really wouldn't be worth it. The power consumption alone would outweigh any profit.

As a guide, a GTX 1080 was tested in Linux with the GPU miner and h/s were below 1, an average of around 0.45. As such due to the nature that the coin was originally designed to be CPU only, a GPU miner is not something that would be viable in my opinion.

In reply to the people that were concerned their wallets are showing a 0 balance for quite some time, if you are mining on a low h/s setup and your accumulation of ARO is not very quick, please bear in mind that a minimum of 10 ARO needs to be mined by yourselves before it is sent to your wallets.

Hope this clears a few things up

You must start a session of mining for each thread you have. Or use the java miner to start all at once.

That does seem quite low for an i7, what OS are you running?

Windows is not great for resources, I would strongly recommend a Linux live USB with persistent HDD just to get the java miner installed, I think you will be surprised how much it will benefit you

Thanks for this reply
Normally what will be the h/s average?

For that CPU I would expect in the region of 10-12 h/s minimum

You can check our benchmarks on existing processors here - http://aropool.com/benchmarks

Actually i don't have high expensive mining equipment my question is it possible to use my two laptops (core i7 , core i3) to mine this coin? and how much will have in 24 hours ?
good luck
You'd need to check the hash rate you get and calculate on https://arionum.info/calculator
My opinion is that it's worth it, even with a laptop.

I've found that I only get around 30 coins per day but the calculator says I should be getting around 50, so its not very accurate

For how long have you been mining? You should take into account that there is a huge variance over smaller timeframes. If you have been mining for quite a while you should get closer and closer to the amount you hopefully correctly calculated.

This is all you need for Linux to get the Java miner working -

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install -y openjdk-8-jdk maven git make gcc

git clone git://github.com/ProgrammerDan/arionum-java

cd arionum-java/arionum-miner

mvn clean package

chmod +x build-argon.sh

./build-argon.sh

./run.sh

Hope this helps
