Umm, does anyone know whether Luc's actually still alive?

This is what he does. It's all part of his mystique! He'll be back when there is something to say

LOL I'm sure he doesn't use google translate. English is widespread in Russia as a second or third language. I think he has a mystique he wants to carry on.

9800 is the final destination of 3rd wave. c&h target is nearly starting point. It'll be a long trip.

9800$ for historical 3 is not so much. Why so bearish, master?

Probably because he is trying to be conservative

I like what we're seeing at the moment on the weekly.  We have broken out to begin our next leg up to $991 before a correction in my opinion.  Could we go higher than $991 before a correction?  Absolutely!

The next few weeks will be interesting indeed.

EDIT:  The first couple of sentences in the largest note on my chart was actually for the previous candle.  We just started a new weekly candle.

don't know if should sell some right now and buy lower or just hold my coins. Despite is falling I don't see it falling that much. If you sell at 948$ you might win nothing/very small profit from the buy back

A bone to chew on for a while.

[img]https://www.tradingview.com/x/8oYWRNHN/[/img

if you want to regard volume for your analysis you have to make an average accross exchange. Volume has been leaving bitstamp since a while now (in the favor of chinese exchange which are fees free), so it is not accurate to compare volume with the past when more traders where trading on this platform.

EDIT: latter is hard since volume figures on chinese exchange are flawed (take your own bid as ex).

Excellent point, Sandman.  Thank you very much for commenting, Sir.  Much appreciated.  Any particular Chinese exchange you recommend for volume analysis?  Okay, I see your EDIT.  Thanks again, bro.

Just one quick aside, in reply to the two posts above, then I'll respect this thread again for what it is: the temple of luc ;)

Volume analysis has always been tricky in this market, and I've struggled with it for a long time. I also believe it only became more difficult since most of the volume shifted to the low/no fee exchanges. Direct comparisons between e.g. finex and BTCChina or OKCoin are out of the question for me, so I wouldn't simply average over all volume equally. However, I also go back on what I said & believed a year or so ago: that volume analysis should mainly focus on the big two or three USD "high fee" exchanges. That is (and was) rather naive of me, I can see now.

These days, I look at volume a) through a weighted average across ~5 exchanges, and b) by a kind of min/max 'snapshot' across exchanges, e.g. if a clear volume picture emerges on one, better two of the major exchanges I track, then I assume/believe that this is roughly equivalent to the same volume picture emerging on the single relevant exchange back in the day.

Sounds logical, oda.krell.

I could go along with that.  So, it sounds like Coinbase and Poloniex for U.S.

Thanks for your input.
