Ordinary publicity stunt on the common wave of bitcoin popularity. While it is too difficult to come and spend a miserable part of the bitokina, to eat chicken wings. It is much more profitable to leave this bitcoin alone and wait until its price grows.

This is good news for bitcoin community. Because of this, bitcoin will again gain more popularity and will have a higher demand and investments. KFC is all over the world so ifc KFC accept it I can think that people will be knowing about bitcoin, I hope other institutions will accept the bitcoin too.

Its possible for some reasons like, Bitcoin is a hassle free currency and doesn't require a lot of time and effort to buy and pay. However, it can also be a market strategy of KFC but the question is, why KFC Canada only ?
lol no, i dont really think so. bitcoin does requires a lot of time to process the transaction plus the fees were a also reasonably high and expensive therfore i didnt think this idea or gimmick that kfc has planning to do will become hit to the public because almost everyone who uses a bitcoin are indeed actually aware also to this problem that bitcoin has currently faccing lately , however there were still few people that maybe able to try and use it despite the consequences that may face.

Yeah, using BTC for payments in KFC is marketing. I don't think that people will pay with BTC for meal with price 5$ and transaction fee around 10-15$
They just using the trend to ride with the growing popularity of bitcoin, but with those mention concern I think it will be hard for people to use bitcoin in just small transactions, maybe it can be a good option when you are going to make a huge payment just like a having a party and use their store from there you will enjoy the benefits of having bitcoin for transacting and it will be a quick and easy system, nonetheless it will take sometime to adopt if the fee will still continue like this maybe another crypto currency will be cater this function.

This will have considerable influence all the places that bear the name of KFC around the world adopting bitcoin. If that's just Canada, I don't think this will have a meaningful effect. We know that KFC is a company engaged in food and its Franchise has been purchased by almost all cities in the world. So almost no one is not familiar with KFC logo. Therefore, if the entire KFC counter adopts bitcoin, then it will have a major effect on the development of the bitcoin itself.

I'd rather go into there branch, buy some chickens and brought it home rather than using my bitcoin in buying chicken in KFC. I don't agree with this strategy because why would they accept a coin that is impossible to use in micro transactions. They already know that bitcoin has slow transaction speed and high transaction fees and yet, they implemented this strategy. I would suggest that they will create a token that will use in buying their chickens and others.

No, thank you, I'd rather keep my bitcoins in my wallet and wait until they grow up decently and at least pay off my contribution to them. As if there is no desire to spend precious crypto currency on such trifles.

Check out my YouTube video where I dive more in depth : BREAKING NEWS KFC is now accepting Bitcoin, and Smart contracts might be legally binding! Is this just a bucket of chicken, or a bucket of publicity stunts? You will be able to buy a bucket of chicken in Select Canada KFC's. However you will have to order it online using Bitpay, and have it shipped to you. Cost : Around $20 + $5 shipping + Taxes + Any other blockchain fees What do you guys think about it? Maybe KFC is serious about entering in a blockchain for the evolution of their business. But if this is all about their marketing scheme then that would be in a different note, however if this is a ways to keep in pace with the evolution of technology then they are in a right track.

i think not all of KFC accepted bitcoin. because in my country i did not find kfc that accept bitcoin. but i think it is good to use bitcoin just as a investment not as means of payment. I prefer to save my bitcoin and sell it when the price goes up drastically

It's a very bad moment for them to accept Bitcoin as payment, they should wait until the fees and transfer fees are adjusted for the common use.

Well I think this is a pretty good start for payments using bitcoins. People should actually use bitcoins to buy things using bitcoins now because if they actually use bitcoins for such payments, more and more people will start accepting bitcoins as payment. I think this will eventually increase and get better over time.

Whoah! Really? Im in awe to hear that news. I hope that many store would follow this step and accept bitcoin soon. So that we can buy anything just by clicking. Imagine if some popular brands are accepting bitcoin as payment it would be great for us and for them also as they gain another market.

Yes, you're right, it's nothing more than a bucket of advertising tricks. It's too expensive to go out to dinner in a fast food. I prefer not to spend bitcoin until it is profitable for me.

Take a look at the video. $5 shipping, only in select Canada restaurants, and the transaction time could be long depending on the fee.

That probably won't be a good idea foe real time face to face transactions like fastfoods since first, the price of btc fluctuates, and second, you'd have to wait until the transaction pushes through which is not guaranteed to be instant. And there's also the transaction fee. Why would you pay a transaction fee for a fastfood order?
