Anyways, what is the connection of you project name to your platform? I am just curious because name of a project is important to build it well and remarks to the people.

It was an acronym of the Service ifyou just read the post above you. and once the service is established and become popular LINA will always reminds us of the Assessment system this platform offers.  After all Name is always tagged by its branding (if I am not mistaken)

The "Lina" in our project mean "Link(LI) and(N) Assessment(A)". We want to create a system where everyone (user,merchant,expert,advertiser) can be linked with each other and be assessed by the community. That mean merchant's products, expert's review, user's review can all be assessed/rated as well as given reward based on the result.

For example, experts (we will call them Helper) will receive Lina Token for their reviews. You can check this flow in our mvp: https://lina.review/mvp.html

I'm yet to finish reading the WP but I can say it is an interesting service though there are already some  payment platform that uses this kind of system  (feed back / review system) so if you won't mind can you differentiate the service of your platform to the feedbacks or review of some online store/payment platform review tab.

So your project is all about reviews? Well I think it will benefits for both costumers and producers. Giving a rate of suggestion in a certain services or goods may contribute for the wellness of all.
Producers will benefit more by this project, the evaluation of the people may uses as a basis of the company to improve their goods and services. However, what if there are people that paid by the company to support their products or to make a beautiful reflection to their products?

this is it: customer will fist check the review from the pro reviewer, lina call it "Helper" which is invited to joint lina platform and also needed to verify his/her pro on his review in the real world to decide buy or not. ex1: customer buy and UP vote again for this product and this helper, the thing they bought is good, like the Helper reviewed, the helper will stay at this position and continute to earn lina coin pay by seller who bought lina to review their product. ex2: customer buy and DOWN vote again for this product and this helper, the thing they bought is NOT good like the Helper reviewed, if it continue to happend again and again, helper will be kicked out from heper position, no more profit from lina platfrom for his bad helper any more, what ever reasion, he was bought by producer or his bad skill , he will out, and normal user, who only buy and vote exactly how the product is, for a time they will be considered to be a Helper and take profit from producer who want their product be reviewed in lina platform. that's how it work

LINA means LInk N Assessment. I found it on their video. You can understand more if you will watch video rather than to browse the whitepaper.
It is a kind of evaluation for a certain services that company's did for the customers. The reputation of the company will depends upon the reaction of their customers.

Its pretty good that there is a linkage between the project name with their platform. Name defines popularity and for sure this project will boom because of its name's uniqueness.
Reviews of the customers  may also boost the trust in a certain company. If many people will give a outstanding rate to the service, definitely it will contribute to promote a company. I hope this reviews will not be paid.
Another thing here is the usage of blockchain technology, I just got interest here when I saw how you use blockchain technology in accordance to your project. That is very innovative way because I knew already that blockchain is for transactions only.

i'm not agree for this red words, what make blockchain worth and diffrent? it's is 2 spesocial things that no other tech have: imposible to change data, and decenterline. When you review on yourfacebook, today u can say like this, but tomorow, when people complain affter buy in your review link, u can delete your review, or u can change it, it can't be on blockchain tech,unless all user agree for you to change =)) softfork . and decenterline: how many vote from users who realy bought your product can vote a bad quality for you? u can delete it easy. the power is in hand every user in blockchain tech

4.6 The LINA User Profile
LINA users mean those who are using review services on the Lina Platform to search the information on products and their reviews as well as write their own reviews and assessments. Each user will have their own profile where they can input their interests and preferences.
User levels (Common or Expert) can be determined by the owner of the review service.
In order to receive token rewards, users will need to register valid addresses to receive LINA tokens.

This is everyone's concern and really a big problem for having the transparency, how can LINA know if the review is unique and not just to have the payment? If ii am a company want to be listed on LINA and I want the best review for my product I can easily use money like what most companies do to the mainstream!

Hi Wallflower28! Reading through their WP, it seems a merchant or advertiser needs to sign up and register for Lina.review, thus, listed goods and services will vary from interested companies who deems reviews are to be essential part of their marketing strategies. And yes, they are ready to be both applauded and critized at the same time (since they willingly entered and signed up for Lina.review).

Well I guess, it is hard to get companies who are willing to criticize. They will not put their reputation in a risk. They have there own reviews and I assure that they always want a liitle bit of criticism but a lot of applause.
Just imagine you are the CEO of a famous company. You completely sold your products in a limited time with a high marginal revenue. Will you put your reputation just to criticize your company? How about some people found out the weakness of it? I guess you will not also put the risk in your name.

As per your last question, i'll say this will very much benefit the consumers arming us with relevant reviews and feedback, but at the same time, will also benefit merchants whose products and services are really worth our coins.

Yes! this is just for the sake of the customers. In order to guide us consumer in appropriate products and services that we will be satisfied. On the other hand, are you sure negative feedback will bring the wellness of the company? It is for those companies who are openminded to cure their lack in service.

I guess the better question here is, with merchants needing to pay for signing up and registration, won't the list of goods and services be limited compared to platforms where participation is free? Is it not possible to keep the platform free to increase and diversify products and services listings?

I guess few firms will just enter with this review. Companies who wanted to have negative and positive feedback. Unless they required to join in this review. For sure, companies that will join this review are those who wanted to advertise their company and has more positive criticism. I know companies will enter here anticipated already the feedback of the customers.

I guess we all have the same primary question on Lina's reliability and trustworthiness. As they cited reputable review companies to be flawed (and yes at times could be bought too), how are we guaranteed that the same will not happen to Lina? I mean, who wouldn't love to finally have a review platform that is unbiased, transparent and simply put, dead honest. I've encountered people from review companies for restaurants and they have nearly the same structure as Lina with expert helpers and all, but the results of their review and write ups could still be influenced in one way or another. It would be a charm to know from Lina how they could guarantee that this ain't gonna happen to them, not now, not ever.

i like how a LINA users can receive Lina token rewards by writing their reviews on the services and products on the Lina Platform, this will encourage users to give reviews irregardless if it is good or bad and these reviews would be recorded on the Lina Core private blockchain. But what i don't understand is, why is there a need for Lina users reviews be subjected for approval by Lina review staff and needs to get votes from Lina helpers? Does this mean bad reviews of Lina users could be deleted

for me For a consumer to purchase a certain product or services it is a must for them to take a look at the performance of the company whom they want to have and for this to become possible the buyer must take a look to the reviews that is being given by other people whom the company have worked with Lina project is being developed for the costumers to have an unbiased review of the company and also to have a complete listing of the original price of materials.

LINA review will have the user profile will have level if the user is a common or an expert one in this way we can make a profit and make this aa job too. WHY? look on bitcointalk.org the higher the rank the better the profit we earn, as a reviewer of a product a company can hire me and pay me depends on my level just to make sure their product will get a really high score. I'm pretty sure of that! I hope this will be resolved soon before the platform launch.

Lina.Review's helpers and users review is really something that concerns all of us, but for now, i guess we gonna have to hope that Lina.Review will be able to produce a good Lina helper that would give honest reviews on services and products on Lina.Reviews platform. Once the final verdict or result of the products and services are out in the market, people can go back on the recorded reviews on Lina Blockchain to check weather Lina Review's review are credible or not.
