As for me it is Cardano and Neo. Speaking about Neo, they launched a lot of ICOs on platform and it is profitable to hold funds on their platform for a long term, you earn gas. As for Cardano, i didn't see their product and no one ICO was launched inside their testnet. I hope they are going to release their product soon
it is a good thing taht ylu are looking for alternative versions of the famous rypto urrencies you will be surprised that is true as you will get a lot of jew basic knowledge and tjat will help you to look for new solutions and it is cool well of course get to know new things it os good and i beleive that we will know a lot of ways to increase our income

This year, a lot of altcoins with their blockchain came out and this trend will only grow because many want to take the place of Ethereum. At the moment, I think the following coins are particularly promising: ZRX; Cardano, Qtum;Neo;ETC.

I think the only serious competitor of Ethereum is EOS. Below I found some serious arguments: - EOS is built on the well-known and proven graphene technology on which BitShares, Steem and Golos were previously built. That allows you to carry out approximately 100 000 transactions per second, than Ethereum can not yet boast Of. - 90% EOS token will be distributed between the participants of the ICO. Only 10% will remain for developers. This is a good advantage over the same NEO, where most of the tokens are held by the developers themselves. - EOS has a powerful help in the face of Steem. In fact, it is a platform for the widest advertising and an inexhaustible source of developers and investors. Having almost your own small media is already part of the future success. Powerful information support can be considered guaranteed. - EOS has a charismatic leader in the person of Dan Larimer-developer and ideologist of EOS. The project team does not cause any complaints. Development moves forward confident steps, perhaps sometimes even ahead of schedule.

EOS is a worthy opponent to Ethereum. Its transactions are faster and cheaper, and EOS also has smart contracts.

It seems to me that EOS is a good competitor for Ether. I believe in this project and it seems to me that someday he will be able to try to eclipse Ether.

At the moment i find that the competition is the best with ETH can be Ripple. We can observe over the past few months, it seems that ETH has been beaten by the ripple. Ripple rise to the capital. I think the future of ETH is very dangerous if ETH does not raise prices again.

Now Good competitors over the Eth are XRP and EOS in my opinion. Already some time ago XRP gained the second position and ETH stay on the third. Even EOS also can be good like XRP over the ETH

I think the best competitors of ethereum should come from different types of blockchain and not of those that are ERC-20 compliant. But in the price sense, more ERC-20 tokens are actually valued so much like ethereum and still have an impact in the market.

In terms of a platform for ICO at Etherium competitors in my opinion no. 90% of new tokens are issued on the platform of ERC-20. That already says a lot... While far from the rest of Etherium

currently i would say that NEO is turning to another big contender for both Ethereum and Bitcoin due to the overwhelming support they are getting from the people.

There are alot of competitor of ETH in the market but all of them still not possible to replace ETH. In my opinion the best competitor of ETH is ADA and NEO. Both project has strong team member and in the future can be possible to become next Ethereum.

I thought before neo is the best competitor to ethereum but i think i should change my decision about that.Because neo already died. So i think gochain can be best competitor to ethereum because i read their whitepaper. Gochain also fork of ethereum and they have some special features so gochain seems better than eth . But i always believe eth is the king and other icos can not be a competitor to eth ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) .

If EOS is really experiencing with many developments and why a lot of experts leave from block.one? EOS is just an overrated platform. A lot of people are leaving from EOS. They need billions of dollars to create a crap platform. Is this what you call that as an experienced platform?
That's right. Everyone shouts that the EOS is an Ethereum killer, they don’t notice that Larimer is already doing this with the project, I would never call this project a serious competitor.

thanks for sharing. I think Ethereum 's best opponent is neo. I think it would be funny to think of the already very small subcoins. Neo is the only platform that will be able to compete with its features and the nep-5 sub-structure.

The closest to ethereum from this list is Cardano. It has good perspectives to become a stable and popular coin for investors in 2019 year
