Got them via the Exodus address, no other previous owners. Wow! This is actually a very interesting post. That he specifies 'no previous owners' to indicate somehow that these are more pure that others which have bounced around a bit. On the surface, you might think that is laughable. But it is not. Because of the discrepancies between validation systems, those coins bounced around a lot may finally get resolved as 'invalid'. It would be on the final holder to take that loss. Therefore, if a person had some coins on an address which he knew to be invalid on the other system (Masterchest, Mastercoin explorer) and sold those - in the end, that would be a fraud. So, I'd rather only take coins with 'no previous owners' - than those of uncertain nature. It is a peculiar aspect of the state of the system today. I think it will soon be resolved. But it is not resolved now. Time to take a step back from the DEx and perfect the three validation engines so there is perfect agreement between them. Going too fast - doesn't help anyone.

I hope for you that I'm wrong

Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone. it has lots of buttery taste..

Interesting. Couldn't they just make a script that searched on every MSC transaction (There aren't very many yet) and where they find disagreement they can shoot up a flag? It seems like this would only take one day for all three programmers to work on. They could meet - run the script - discuss what caused the failure on the non-agreeing system(s) - Put the code right - move to the next inconsistency - until they all agree. 8 hours at most. Then, get back to work on the DEx. Done. That might even shut up Killerstorm.

Looks like I picked the wrong time to buy into the market! That most recent 0.20 on the chart...that would be me Well either this whole thing is in trouble, in which case I'm already screwed...or else it just needs a little prop/support in this short term as some unfounded fear blows over. From an investment standpoint, I moved into MasterCoin to diversify a bit. I had previously been fully electronic and my Casascius collectible offerings. Well if anyone is interested, this could be a way for both parties to balance their investments out, so to speak. I think I'm open to selling any of my listed items, accepting BTC for the spot value, and I will allow any amount of the premium, up to 100%, be converted to MSC at the rate of 0.125. (8 MSC for 1 BTC) Yep, I'd even consider the 1-of-18-in-existence 100 BTC holo error bar. Might be a nice way for some of you early investors to move some of your investment into the collectible realm with 1250% its original earning power. Not sure if this will generate any interest or not, but I wanted to throw it out there. Shoot me a PM if there's a piece or two that catches your eye. Mods - I realize this is a non-standard offering. If it's distracting or not allowed, feel free to delete - from what I could gather, it looked like it would be alright. -Chainsaw

Selling 100 MSC at 0.13 BTC each. Please add to order book. Due to multiple people wasting my time I will not trade with escrow unless you pay me a 10% non refundable deposit. This is due to the many people who message me and ask for escrow and then back out of the trade or ask for a lower price later. I can be trusted as you can see from my feedback here: (click show ratings) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=19405One example is when user bitmouser accidently sent me 25 bitcoins instead of sending them to the escrow address and I sent the mastercoins as agreed. Pouncer can vouch for this as he was the escrow agent. Also, trades can be completed in small increments, you don't have to send it all at once. Thanks

A solution would be to start the book over and when you place an order you need to send the msc or btc to an escrow up front.
