I think it is a bad idea to trade MSC at a big exchange like cryptsy - as long as there is no foolproof client out there. I estimate that 90% of traders are just aiming for a good profit and do not even know anything about what they are trading. Many of them would lose their money when trying to withdraw them to their gox account or whatever. Many complaints will be spread that could ruin the reputation of MSC.

Maybe, but we also need to keep the PR momentum of Mastercoin going, and having it on an exchange will be a good way to go about this.

Maybe, but we also need to keep the PR momentum of Mastercoin going, and having it on an exchange will be a good way to go about this. The "PR momentum" (aka 'pumping') is only useful for speculators. 'Pumping' mastercoin with good press is just plain dumb. The only thing Mastercoin needs is - to work. We've got to get it to work. Then, we've got to get it to work well. As soon as that happens, the reputation will come like white on rice. We don't need to pump up the reputation with PR before it works. Let's get the damn thing working and quit working on pumping up the reputation. Well, unless you are a speculator looking for a quick profit. Then, pump away!!!

I'd like to buy .5BTC worth of MSC. Do I just post that now (like I'm doing) and someone contacts me in order to transfer the BTC and the order book is updated? Thanks for any guidance.

Could anyone nudge me in the right direction? Do I need to provide any more info or do anything else? yeah, just put your order here. how much msc at what price, and specifically ask to put this in the orderbook. then maxmint or pouncer will put it in the order book and sellers will contact you, or you can contact sellers in the order book. I believe I pm'd you as well

Could anyone nudge me in the right direction? Do I need to provide any more info or do anything else? You can either check the Order Book and contact any of the sellers, or post your order here in the format: Sell/Buy (amount) @ (price) Ex: Buy 3 @ 0.15 Once you've posted, Maxmint very frequently updates the order book and sellers will be able to see then. If you want to buy, I'd suggest taking the more pro-active approach and contacting every seller within your price range. Oh and do please use escrow.

Is there an online wallet for MSC or any way to store them besides installing the client?
