"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
Of course they can, but will they? There is a lot of money in the crypto currency. Why should not countries start supporting the Crypto-currency and do not profit from it?

Why kill? they can speculate with it, i mean they already started it, ripple is the name i believe, ppl sell their btc/other coins to buy ripple, trying to make profit, so they got their goal, they do not spend their money to buy real decentralised crypto, but ppl pay instead them lol.

I think that this is happening now, because the authorities of many states are concerned that people are tired of fiat money, so consumers do not buy a dollar and fiat money, people just want a new one.

Naturally, governments do not want cryptocurrency to develop because they are afraid of losing power when people can make their own money, which causes the government not to collect taxes, money laundering.

I do not think it is more precisely the government is still not too sure with crypto let alone ico-ico that has the element of fraud and trap the reason is also using facebook to block all ads that smell crypto.
and that's what the government is most afraid of because many still do not want to legalize crypto in their country

The government can't kill crypto and erase it from existence, but they can heavily regulate it or ban it which will cause another market crash.

I think it is a personal choice of which money to use. As long as the cryptocurrency is safe, no government will stimulate or prohibit its use.

Regulation is legalization, it's good. When there is a transparent and simple mechanism for converting fiat into crypt and back, the crypt will give many more iks. Unfortunately, without regulation, this procedure will not be simple.

Tehnology behing cryptos is so perspective that will survive and cryptos too.
Goverments will tray to stop cryptos but they will adopt in some way.
When people will see that cryptos are alive for long term everyone will accept them and market will grow a lot. (I think that in 10 yeart up to 20 trillions)

talking about the government of the world is difficult, because they have their own point of view about crypto, if they are all compact to shut down crypto of course it is not a difficult matter for them.

That is an interested article. I think if they were able to do it, they would do it. Maybe they can't do it because not all countries against the blockchain and they don't give an ability to kill it.

It would not be so simple.Today developers are doing everything to integrate cryptocurrencies in our real life,In economy, even in social-political realations. Its already in use at institutional leval and the  decisive factor is not only goverment's desires to prohibit it.People have a great power in order to make decisions,People are goverments and if they want it will be...I don't talk anymore about china or other countries which have bad realations with it,even in this countries I think its temporary.Anyway,I'm Sure that  developed countries will use cryptocurrencies for their own well-being and not as a bad tool.

Research is certainly good, but cryptocurrency is already a recognized fact, and to abandon the cryptocurrency means to abandon the blockchain technology, which is not profitable for States. But here I agree that cryptocurrency and blockchain is not the same, although everyone has their own opinion.

Many governments are already developing their own crypto-projects, which tells us about their understanding and agreement with it.

I dont think so ..government should not have to focus in killing bitcoin or crypto theres a lot pf problem every country government have..planning to kill crypto is so unnecessary to focused to..government still have problems in drugs, human traficking, criminality terrorism etc. and still have not solve yet so why they were going tp focus in the problem that is not actually a problem at all..
That's because crypto also affects some of the problems you mentioned above, that's why the government is trying to make crypto as safe as possible

Oh! Come on no one can kill crypto the market just has been always like before manipulated by those whales out there and that's the thing they want us to fill like the end of crypto but that's not gonna happen because as long as we have electricity and internet crypto will live forever.

Unfortunately, I think that the world government can easily kill cryptocurrencies. Especially China, because, as we know, China has a Great Chinese Firewall with which the Chinese government very successfully censors anything. Why do not they do it now? I do not know, maybe for them there is a benefit in cryptocurrencies.

Can world Government Kill Crypto? No. definitely not. The government can complicate the existence of cryptocurrency, reduce the price of bitcoin, wipe it into powder. But it will not work, it will be replaced by another cryptocurrency, again and again. The only way to kill the crypto is to criminalize its use. Everywhere, all over the world. But it's impossible

Pfft, I don't think the government can kill crypto. Over the past couple of months, crypto's been hit hard by what I would say black propaganda making people lose interest in it which in turn has caused a downslide. Governments will try their best to regulate or centralize it. From what I understand, one way of doing it would be to adopt it then leverage on the adoption to have some control over it. However, things as they are, crypto's will not die nor will it be killed.
