Yes, government can kill cryptocurrencies if they are banning this to there countries. I think this will be the nightmare for us if the cryptocurrencies banned in our country. The government has the power to banned it but I think cryptocurrencies will find ways to have a good investors.

I think that cryptocurrency industry cannot be killed, stopped or prohibit by anyone even if the world government. Even drugs to every country cannot be totally killed by Governments what more else for this cryptocurrencies.

No, I don't think a single government can stop the cryptocurrencies,but if all of these countries are going to ban all the cryptocurrencies this might be the reason why cryptocurrencies would fail, but it is impossible because there are some countries that fully implemented the use of cryptocurrencies because they see how the blockchain will revolutionize the fiat and banking system in the future.

I do not think so, that can kill the crypto is just the investors. because if no one is investing in crypto then that's where crypto will die.

no, because crypto can only be stopped or be dead if people or the investors will stop to buy and use it for different purposes. cryptocurrency becomes valuable because of its use, not because someone actually manipulating it.

Are you saying that the governments of all countries are united? I think that if all countries unite to resist cryptocurrencies, even if cryptocurrencies can't be killed, they will never recover from it.

Governments might want to kill Crypto but the individuals themselves need it still. I am very worried about the crypto market because more and more countries take measures to stop the crypto market. I'm afraid there will be a day when the World Government will take over and we will die.

anything but the government. I think that cryptocurrency can only die because people stop buying it. sole reason

Indeed, cryptocurrency can die if the communities start to dump it and not trust the project anymore. Government can not kill any crypto because cryptocurrency using decentralized system and not any authorities can control it

I do not give a chance to such a thing. The governments are against the crypto stock exchanges. But it does not have the power to destroy the stock market.
Crypto money is a world that grows every day. The transaction volume grows day by day.

I think the government will not kill cryptocurrencies. I don't think the government has the ability to supervise it. It cannot be supervised unless it is supported by the government. The current mainstream BTC, ETH, I think the government can not monitor. They can control information at most, but they have nothing but information. What really kills cryptocurrencies is switches and quantum computers. The rest are bragging.

World governments can turn into a single virtual currency in the world to support the projects by making it worthwhile killing the kripto market. Does not the world's only currency sound pleasant to you?

I don't think that's going to happen in near future. What they can do or have done so far is to make monetary system or regulations to watch over the people using cryptocurrency. Otherwise anything which is internet based can't simply be diminished by the governments.

The way I see it, governments will not. . .and cannot kill crypto currency. At best, they can regulate it and find its usefulness for the betterment of economy. As the article pointed out, there are some countries that are already looking into the benefits of crypto currency. Crypto currency will continue to evolve getting more and more interest in its wake. For those of us already in this kind of gig, we should also educate ourselves on how to keep crypto currency alive and kicking, not that it will die because I don't think it will.

It is hard but they can prevent most of the user especially from Russia, China or United states. They are big governments and if they fight with crypto, they can put some regulations, but I dont think they will do this things.

Crypto will might eventually die due to cannibalism:

- Criminal users launching counteless shit assets;

- Naive users being lured into fake ICOs;

- Greedy whales speculating on pump&dump shit assets;

A strong and honest community can withstand anything a government tries to do, but a community poisoned by dishonest behaviors might collapse over it's on greed and ambition.

It would be foolish to underestimate the forces that rule the world for decades, keep their finger on the pulse. Although Washington's aggressive foreign policy accelerated the rejection of the dollar in many countries, one should keep in mind the reason why the crypto-currencies for many years of their existence were not outlawed.

In one book about cryptocurrency in World I read one clever idea: "The authorities will not praise the cryptocurrency until they find a way to make money for themselves, this rule of life"
